Tragedy 607 - Dorothy and Rei

Time pass. It had been almost two hours since Dorothy had followed the man. But he didn't go to see Martin at all.
The man—Derek had since just walked around in the forest without intending to meet Martin as he had said.
After returning home from the ship, Derek instead decided to take a walk in the forest while enjoying the natural scenery there. This really made Dorothy confused.
I've been following him since, but why didn't something happen? Since then he tends to just walk in the forest while enjoying the scenery. I think he's going to go do the important thing here with the guy.
Dorothy stopped her steps. He starts to feel tired, and it turns out that following Derek only makes him go round and round in this wilderness.
I think I've been here too long. Luna and the others must have been worried about me, and had been looking for me ever since.
Looks like I should be back as soon as possible.
Dorothy got up from her place. He looked towards where Derek had last been seen. As he regains consciousness, Derek disappears from his sight. It seemed like the man had already resumed his journey, enjoying the scenery in this forest.
"I want to follow him again. But I really can't. If I had been too long, Luna and the others would have been anxious and thought something was going on with me."
"I'd better just go back."
Dorothy left the place. He walked through the forest to the beach. He had to go back to the other island.
Instead of finding his way home easily, Dorothy was almost lost because he had forgotten the way home.
"So, which way did I come? Is it down here? Or to it?" Dorothy scratched her head. He found a path that looked the same.
The sound of something from the direction of the cliff made Dorothy jerk in shock and spontaneously switch focus towards the arrival of the sound. From the direction he heard, he saw a man who had just fallen with a very messy appearance. He was wearing an operating outfit that was already so shapeless. Some parts of his clothes were torn, and almost all parts of his clothes were dirty. And so is his face.
Dorothy. His body was instantly petrified when he saw the man move.
"Argh…." Rei grimaced with pain. He moved out of his place and held onto the injured part of his body.
"Huh?" Dorothy frowned. For some reason, he felt Rei was like an evolver trying to escape.
That man..., is he an evolver? Why is he here? Dorothy stepped up, about to approach him.
But his steps were first noticed by Rei. The man spontaneously moved to create a distance between them which made Dorothy instantly stand still stopping her steps.
Rei and Dorothy stared at each other. They glanced at each other for a while before they finally heard the sound of the guards' shouts instantly seizing their attention.
"Quick find him again!" shouted the guards who instantly broke their focus.
"Damn.." muttered Rei slowly. He immediately got up limped and ran with the rest of his strength.
Dorothy was about to chase after him, but she abandoned her intention to look at the approaching guards.
"Wine! They can't let me know that I'm here." Dorothy immediately hid inside the bushes to avoid them.
