With his teleportation, Louis moved them to the beach which was located quite far from the village.
Rei was still sitting on the sand while trying to catch his breath. His painful head slowly began to improve, and Rei began to become aware of what he was seeing.
Louis was still silent while watching him. He had absolutely no intention of explaining anything before Rei felt better.
"A-I'm not Rei." he muttered in a soft voice.
Rei clenched both his hands tightly. The tears that soaked her cheeks involuntarily seemed to sparkle as it was exposed to the sunlight that continued to move more and more late in the afternoon.
Louis lowered his head.
"I'm not Rei. The real Rei is dead, isn't he?" Rei looked up. Faced with Louis who is still petrified in his place. He was silent for a moment, before finally sighing and answering his sentence.
"Yes, you're not Rei" Louis replied in a soft tone.
Rei spontaneously woke up and approached Louis. Clutching the man's shirt collar.
"Who am I then? Why have I been living as Rei? Why…?"
"…Who am I really? Explain to me!"
Rei crying. I don't know why his chest hurts so much when he knows all these facts. He looked at Louis who was now looking back at him with a serious face.

Louis distracts him when he accidentally sees a light coming out from among the plants that appear after Rei's body turns into a vines.
He looked up, and saw an old man standing there dressed in all white clothes.
"Huft~ turns out, he's gone.." he muttered while looking towards where Rei's body was originally.
"W-who are you?" Louis got up and looked at the old man. He did not understand why Rei's body could come out of an old man he had never even seen.
"Huh?" The man turned his focus to Louis. "You're Louis, right?"
"How do you know my name?"
"I know everything. Even the reason why you showed up I know."
"Who are you? Why did you get out of the master's body?"
"I am the spirit who has been assigned to guard her. I was assigned to be a hereditary order from his ancestors."
"What's? But how is it possible?"
"You don't think about it, do you?"
Louis was silent. He looked at the plant where Rei had disappeared. Rei had never told me about this old man before.
"I, have been with this child since he was born" murmured the grandfather.
