"So today is the time? I hope everything goes well, yeah. Yes, my mother calm down. Everything will be handled by Mama. Huh uh? Don't worry about me, everything's fine."
Pato could faintly hear Meredith talking to someone over the phone. The man slowed down his steps and continued walking down the stairs until he finally arrived at the place where the voice came from.
Cato paused for a moment. He could see Meredith sitting on the sofa busy talking on the phone with someone. From the conversation they did, Cato could conclude that the woman was chatting with her mother who was none other than her brother Claire. Cato fell silent while watching the woman from her position. From the conversation between Meredith and Claire, Cato could hear that the woman occasionally mentioned her name.
"Mama calm down, everything's fine. There's nothing to worry about" Meredith said. Cato had no idea what they were talking about for sure. But from some of the answers Meredith gave, Cato could only draw one conclusion. Claire must be worried about Meredith and her family because they live in her place.
"Lussia is good too. It's better that you focus on the show, I'll hang up, okay? Tomorrow I still have to go early in the morning. All right, see you." Meredith cut off her phone. Cato who realized that immediately left the place and immediately approached the kitchen room.
Meredith went back to her room. But her focus suddenly came to a halt when she accidentally met the man who became her husband right in front of the stairs.
"What's mom talking about?" ask the man.
"Mama only discusses the event that will be held today. She said she was nervous because the show was just around the corner, and she was trying to calm down. He had wanted to talk to Lucia and wanted to hear her voice. But it seems like mama forgot that it's midnight here."
"Mama just asked if she was okay or not. Maybe you still feel a little awkward after the trial a few months ago. As you know, mama's relationship with om Cato became a bit distant after that. But I asked her not to worry, and I told her that Cato was behaving as usual."
"Mama is too worried. But Cato is good, right?"

The man had since been silent without making a sound and continued to listen to their conversation. Now that her curiosity paid off, she knew what her brother and Meredith were talking about.
