Adventure In The Dark
Tragedy 199 - Group

...***...

The break sign bell rang making everyone's focus in an instant switch. Everyone in the class rushed to clean up their study tables. Put their stationery in the bag.

"Okay, time's up!" said Ms. Laila. "Before the break, I'll split up your group for the task you have to put together next week. In one group will consist of four members, and the mother asks all of them to work together. I don't want to hear reports that any of the members aren't helping with the group's work, okay? I'll put the names of the members on the blackboard, so you can start discussing your duties."

"Well, ma'am," they said simultaneously. The thirty-four-year-old woman then wrote down the names and groups she had created. Put everything on the board.

When finished, he then say goodbye and allow all his students to enjoy their rest hours.

Everyone rushed out of the classroom leaving four people who were none other than Rei, Heru, Lucia, and Gloria who turned out to be in place in the same group.

Lucia sat at her desk. The girl looked really disappointed after knowing who the members of her group were. The girl turned uninspired as she read Rei's name on it.

Rei is still pensive. He was lazy to get out of his seat, and he did not want to meet with the group of strange people, in the cafeteria again.

Meanwhile, Heru was still busy copying Rei's writing. The material is quite long, and the convoluted writing makes it difficult to write each material at a fast tempo. Therefore, he copied Rei's finished writing.

Gloria, who was all sitting at the same table as Lucia, woke up. He approached the blackboard with the name of each group still written neatly there.

"Group three, Gloria, Heru, Lucia, and Rei." The girl read the writing on there in such a loud voice.

"It seems that Ms. Laila also even knows which group to put you in." The girl chuckled softly.

Gloria looked at him. "uh? About what I said? You wonder what I mean?"

Heru nodded slowly in response. Gloria was silent for a moment, she glanced at her best friend who was sitting on her desk with her head lying on the table while looking towards where there was no one at all.

"Ma…"

"Don't listen to him!" Lucia suddenly cut off the words of Gloria who had just opened her mouth.

Heru and Gloria turned their heads simultaneously towards the newly spoken Lucia. The girl fixed her position so sat up straight.

Lucia looked at Gloria with a sharp look. "He only talks unimportant!"

Lucia pressed her sentence. Heru was confused. "really?"

"Yes, he likes to talk about unimportant things. So you better ignore him and focus on your work. Gloria and I will go to the cafeteria first for lunch after which we meet in the library to discuss our group duties."

Lucia moved out of her chair. He pulled Gloria quickly before the girl spoke of even more insignificant matters.

"Then, how about we go to the cafeteria together? I happen to be done too."
