Tragedy 32 - Coffee Shop

Rei stood behind one of the customers who were in line. Rei's arrival since the beginning has attracted the attention of everyone, especially the girls who visited the coffee shop. They immediately whispered while staring at Rei. Not a few of them immediately pulled out their phones and photographed them without permission.
"Oh, jeez. He's so handsome."
"Let's get him an acquaintance, who knows he's still single."
"I want to know his name."
"I want his cell phone number."
"I want to ask her out."
Somehow. But, for sure Rei could clearly hear the whispering sounds of the people around Rei who kept staring at him, barely even blinking.
Rei looked around with a confused face. He felt uncomfortable with the gaze of everyone in the coffee shop.
What's with all of them? Why are they talking about me while looking at me like that? Is there something on my face? thought Rei was being wrong himself. He rubbed his face repeatedly. Rei tried to ignore them all and chose to continue focusing on the line that was running.
After waiting in line for quite a while, Rei finally got a turn to order. He immediately asked the waiter who was there to make his order.
Rei fell silent. He also felt a strange look from the woman standing behind the counter. Several times the woman smiled as she looked at Rei without blinking.
"Is that all he ordered?" ask the woman.
"Yes. How much total?" ask Rei back.
"You don't want my phone number?" The woman smiled at him. Rei just smiled stiffly while shaking slowly.
"I'm rejected." The woman chuckled softly as she lowered her head. His hand moved around wrapping up all of Rei's orders, then thrusting out his message. Rei was just about to pay, before a woman lining up beside him took out money and thrust it towards the cashier.
"Let me pay" he said.
Rei turned towards the direction the voice came from. A tall beautiful woman with white skin and long hair who was draped to the back was standing right beside her.
The woman looked at Rei with a smile. Same expression as the others.
"I can pay for it myself" Rei said.
"no need. Let me just."
The cashier immediately put the money he had given into the cashier.
"By the way, can I ask for your number?" The woman beside Rei thrust out a mobile phone in his grasp.
"For what?" Rei knitted his brows in confusion. His rhetorical questions made the woman speechless.
"Maybe, we can get to know each other. I don't know, or we can just talk together, "he replied.
Rei grabbed his order that was on the table. He glanced at the woman standing next to him.
"I want to thank you for paying for all this, even though I can actually pay for it myself. But, I was in a hurry, and did not have much time. I'm sorry." Rei turned around, stepping away leaving the woman who was now standing looking at him with a look of disbelief.
He had just been rejected outright by Rei. It was embarrassing, especially when everyone was staring at him. Now, they giggled at his fate.
Arriving outside, Rei who really felt uncomfortable immediately approached his motorbike. Riding that thing to Elvina's place of work.
