Tragedy 619 - Rei & Derek

Rei fell down as he accidentally hit a rock. His body spontaneously flipped over and fell on his stomach.
"Arghh.." Rei grimaced in pain. With all his might, he tried to stop his movements and his hands continued to try to reach all sorts of plants around him. Until he finally stopped.
Rei grimaced with pain. He tried to get up and survive. Rei looked at himself. His body was injured quite badly, some blood even came out of the body that was accidentally scratched by the twigs and spines present.
The clothes worn by Rei even to the point of being torn in some parts.
Rei tried to catch his irregular breathing.
"I have to get away…"
"I have to run away." he continued to say softly.
Rei stepped with trembling legs. Walking down the ground whose position can be in incandescent.
He tried to get down and go out of the island. I wish I could go back to where I came from.
Sruk!
Rei fell back down as he tried to step up. His body again skated between the ravine which was quite steep.
His body continued to drift, occasionally bouncing when he met another cliff.
Until then Rei's body floated and almost hit one of the trees whose position was quite high.
Just as his body was about to hit the tree, his body suddenly stopped moving in the air.
Rei realized his body was floating in the air and slowly descended along with some other solid objects that had fallen with him.
What the hell's going on? Rei widened his eyes. His attention was drawn to a man standing below. The man moved his hand, using his ability to capture Rei's body and landed him slowly on the ground.
Bruk!
Rei fell in a seated position as the man put him in a standing position. Both times Rei felt powerless.
"Huft~ was almost there. Fortunately I moved quickly and caught you," the man murmured with a sigh of relief.
Noticing Rei's facial expression being so surprised to see him, Derek attempted to calm Rei down.
"Silent. You don't have to be afraid,." Derek said in a calm voice.
Rei was silent without a word. His eyes were still fixed on Derek who somehow felt like he had a different aura than the one on the guard.
"I won't catch you."
"I know you're an evolver trying to escape right?"
"I'm not a guard, and I won't catch you. So you don't have to worry."
Rei just kept quiet without responding. He looked at the man.
"Don't be afraid. I'm not gonna catch you." Derek repeated his sentence.
"Go away…"
"I'll set you free."
Derek moved his hand. Gesticulating the Rei to escape.
Rei bergeming's. He remained in his place. His energy was drained away and he could not move at all.
"He fell from here!"
The attention of the two of them instantly shifted as they heard the shouting sounds from the guards.
Rei widened his eyes.
What am I supposed to do? They're getting closer.
Derek who saw Rei just silently could immediately guess that the man was running out of energy.
"I think I should help you." Derek moved his hand. He lifted Rei's body with his ability and moved the man to a place far from where he was.
Rei realized it could only be quiet and looked at Derek who was kind enough to help him.
