"Can you tell me what really happened? Why are you getting hurt so bad? Josh, too, not long before you came, he was going through the same thing as you. His condition is quite serious and he needs a fairly long break" the professor said. Joe was still silent, he tried hard to think of the idea to avoid the professor's question.
"I. This is all an accident. Josh and I had an accident because of my powers that I haven't been able to control lately" he said.
"There's no way this is the effect of your power, Joe. An electric shock won't be possible until it leaves a burn on the skin, like a fire." Professor squinted his eyes. Looking at Joe, who seemed to be trying to hide something from him.
Joe swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. He had expected it from the beginning that the professor would not be that easy to lie to. The reason is less convincing.
"So Andrich who accidentally found you when he was about to come back here, and he didn't explain anything to me because your condition was severe and had to be dealt with immediately. If you don't want to speak the truth to me, then I'll ask him myself what happened."

"Alright, tell me then."
Joe explains everything to the professor about Rei and his suspicion of him having the ability of an evolver.
The professor was silent listening to every explanation from Joe. After hearing every explanation, the professor seemed surprised by the story.
The professor was still glued without responding to Joe's words. He looked at Joe. From the look on his face, Joe can see that the professor does not believe his words.
"Wait, did you say that? Teenage boys?" professor's repeat.
"Yes, prof."
Teenage boy, is it not-don't? inner professor. The man shook his head slowly trying to shake off all the thoughts that were approaching him.
"Professor, are you okay?" Joe broke his daydream.
"I'm doing fine. For the time being, I will assign another evolver to take care of your duties. You and your team need to take a complete rest so that you can fully recover. It will take a while for you to fully recover. Moreover, the attack from that child was not an ordinary attack. The fire that burns your body is a type of eternal flame, and it damages the surface of your skin quite severely, even until your tissue system cannot operate as intensively as before."
"B.. rest, prof. but you said…"
"Forget what I said on the phone. The situation is different now than before. I never thought you'd get hurt this bad. So, rest for a few weeks, until your wounds recover slowly until everything is back as before."
"Alright, prof. I get it."
"Then I'm gone. There will be Evolab111 who will accompany and watch over you as long as I am not around. He'll help you as always." The professor moved from his place. Stepping away left Joe lying on his bed.
Joe just kept quiet and stared at his disappearance.
