"What are you going to talk about?" ask Felix who is Lucy's lover, as well as the person who will soon turn into her husband.
In a few months' time, Lucy should be preparing for her wedding. But because of his mission, and his partner who he still has not found, he so put it all aside and prioritize his work.
"I suddenly had to go to Indonesia to complete the mission I was on."
"Indonesian? When?" The surprised intonation of the man across there was so obvious. Lucy felt a little guilty about contacting her suddenly like this, especially in the past year her lover was lacking affection and attention from her who was too stressed with the mission.
"Today, I mean, I'm on a plane and I'm leaving soon."
"Why so sudden? Did you forget that in a few months, we're getting married?"
"I'm really sorry for telling you so suddenly, nor did I know that I had to go abroad to complete my mission. Ethan just managed to track down my target, and I followed him. But apparently, he will go to Indonesia. Therefore, I can't just let go of it. Moreover, you know for yourself 'can I fight in a year, especially without Am?"
"Yes, I know. And you're really going?"
"really. Therefore, I called you to say goodbye before I actually left."
"My feelings are not good. Can't you just not go?"
"Cannot be. I have to catch them and find Am."
"All right then. How long are you going to be gone?"
"I don't know. But, I'll make sure. I'll be back before our wedding."
"I'm sorry, because I'm paying less attention to you because of this mission."
"It's okay. I understand that your mission is not a mission you can leave or miss. Just one of my messages, don't let you do anything. Don't get hurt!"
"I promise."
"I love you."
"I am too." Lucy cut off her phone unilaterally. Her heart melted when she had to leave her lover like this. Leaving without meeting at all, plus in the last one year, Lucy really has rarely met him.
It could even be counted by the finger, the number of times he had met in the past year.
Luckily though, Felix understood the situation.
Felix knew that his beloved Lucy— was working as a spy agent, and after much of what they had been through in the last two years of their relationship.
In those two years, Lucy and Felix have experienced many things that they never even expected in their relationship. Even so, their relationship still remains.
A year ago, Lucy was released due to a threat from Garmond. But his decision, in fact, put his lover in danger.
Lucy, who does not want her lover to get hurt, has to work hard to protect her and get her lover back.
Lucy's relationship was briefly opposed by Felix's parents, but they eventually endowed the relationship after Lucy managed to save Felix from danger.
Lucy works as a spy agent. It was different with Felix. The man works as an app development that focuses more on creating online-based virtual games. They are reunited when Lucy goes undercover and infiltrates her company.
