"You're making me feel good, Derek. The longer, the more I feel like I want to stay with you. So will you be my lover?" Pricilla ended the sentence.
Derek was silent for quite a while. He was made speechless by her.
Derek set his heart rate to steady before finally saying, "actually I have also liked you for a long time. But I still doubt my feelings. Then as time went on, I began to realize that I love you too."
Derek clasped Pricilla's hand tightly. Their two beads of eyes clashed against each other.
"I want you to stay with me, Pricilla."
Pricilla smiled at Derek's words. His heart suddenly beamed after finding out it was not only him who had been in love with Derek.
"I'm glad to hear it, because it's not just me who's feeling it." Pricilla hugged Derek's body tightly.
A moment later, Derek returned his embrace.
"Oh yeah, by the way there's something I want to talk about. I remember." Derek suddenly remembered something.
Pricilla let go of his embrace. "What do you want to talk about?"
"It's about the man who accidentally hit you on the doorstep of the hospital. Remember?"
"What's wrong with that guy? Do you know him?"
"No. But I suspect that man is an evolver."
"Huh?" Pricilla raised her brow next to a puzzled one. "Why do you think that?"
"If it's not wrong, I've seen EA's emblem on his shirt."
"What?! So you're saying, the man who accidentally collided with me was an EA agent from the UK?"
"Looks like. And so, I got worried. I kept thinking about that guy last night."
"Great, then what should we do? They've smelled our power to the point of coming here." Pricilla is starting to fret.
"You don't have to worry, I'll figure out a way we can stay sideline…"
Duarr!
Derek had not yet finished his sentence, their bodies had already bounced to hit the floor.
Thick smoke from the ruins of the building covered their view.
"Arghh.." Derek grimaced in pain. He looked towards the hole in the wall that was now covered in smoke.
"Pricilla.." panicked. He immediately moved to the woman.
"Pricailla!" call him.
"Uhuk... uhuk.." Pricilla coughed. He shook his hands repeatedly trying to get the smoke out of his sight.
Derek crouched nearby.
"You okay?" Derek looked at her with a panicked face.
"A.. I'm fine," said Pricilla, looking up at him.
"Your head is bleeding."
"I'm fine" said Pricilla, who tried to be fine despite the pain running around her head.
"Gotcha! You will never be able to hide from me again!" quote a man who is now walking towards where they are.
The silhouette figure among the smoke of the ruins slowly began to reveal its figure.
Derek rounded his eyes as soon as he saw who was now standing there with both hands clenched giving rise to his abilities.
"You…"
"I've been looking for you everywhere. Turns out all this time, you guys were hiding here?" The man pulled out his smirk.
"Derek." Pricilla began to worry when she saw the EA agent they were talking about suddenly appear and destroy some of the walls of the private laboratory owned by professor Ian.
Derek and Pricilla wake up from their positions.
Derek spread his arms, protecting Pricilla behind him.
"Stay behind me" whispered Derek.
"Friends, what is this.." Annika.
