"I heard that your sister will be sent to Indonesia" said Nils, who managed to break his daydream.
Joe turned his head towards the empress who had just said.
"Nil?"
The man approached Joe and stood right beside him.
"You know? Every evolver who was here, had been perfect and the professor had already started giving every task to them. It's time they were let go."
Joe sighed softly while looking straight ahead.
"Yeah, you're right. You're leaving soon, too, aren't you?"
"Yup. And it looks like I'm going to one ship with Derek."
"Derek?" Joe raised his eyebrows.
"You haven't heard? Derek will be sent to Indonesia for his duty."
"What's? That means…"
"You won't be able to be with your sister anymore" Nils said.
"You will be separated, and you will have to carry out your duties."
"What you're saying is there's a point, too." Joe bowed with a gloomy face.
"You sad?"
"of course. He's the only family I have, and if we split up, that means no one will protect him. Especially if he's separated from me."
"Don't worry about him too much." Nils grabbed Joe's shoulder.
"Look! Derek was just as ordinary an evolver as I was, and the professor gave him two different abilities to protect himself and help with his life. So you don't have to worry too much about him" Nils said.

"Congratulations, because you're finally out of here." Joe smiled as he thrust his hand towards her.
Derek flinched and reflexively turned his head towards him who came suddenly.
Derek fell silent, ignoring Joe's hand-stabbing without thinking about shaking it.
Joe pulls his sister's hand and forces her to shake it. Then he smiled.
"Thank you" Derek said slowly.
"I heard you'd be sent to Indonesia. But, why does your face look unhappy, when in a moment, you're going to be out of the lab?" Joe looked at his sister with a confused face.
"I'm happy to get out of here and go to the outside world. But. I'm also sad that I have to part with you."
Joe stared silently at Derek who now showed a gloomy face.
"I don't want us to be apart. I thought we were going out together like we started putting our feet in this place. But it turns out, quite the opposite. I'm out without you."
"No need to be moody. I'm sure I'll catch you out of here, too. But maybe not now." Joe tried to calm his brother down.
"But what if we never see each other again?"
"That's not gonna happen. Because.." Joe releases the telecosys that the professor gave him.
"…Even if we are far apart, we will still be able to communicate. With this." He thrust his telecosys at Derek.
Derek stared silently at the telecosys Joe gave him.
"Take this so we're always connected."
"If I take it, then how can I communicate with you?" ask Derek.
"You'll just wear mine. The professor will give me a new telecosys if he finds out that mine is missing. So I'll tell you that my telecosys are gone. That way, we'll be able to keep communicating."
Joe put the telecosys in his hand on Derek's palm and asked him to hold the thing.
"Hold so we can communicate."
