Adventure In The Dark
Tragedy 668 - Finding a guinea pig

"A good question. Because we were just about to explain the next plan," said Miles who turned to him at a glance before finally returning busy. The man pulled out a syringe from inside a small square box inside his desk drawer. Miles put the tube on the table and used a syringe to move all the serum in the tube.

"What's your next plan?" Cato looked at the two similar-faced men in turn. They really don't know what they're going to do next.

"I've created a tool to track every chosen human being, and they're the ones we're going to turn into evolutionary humans" Martin explained.

"Man of choice?" Cato was silent for a moment, Martin then explained what he meant and he also explained in detail about their next plan. While Martin is busy explaining his plans to Cato, Miles is busy sticking a label on the tube he holds. On the label, Miles wrote a name for his serum.

Evolgesysv-01 stands for Evolution Genetics System Version-01. That's what he wrote there. This was done to indicate that the serum was the first version of the serum they had made.

"Now we just need to catch the person of choice" said Miles who then turned to focus on his two colleagues who have been talking about the same thing since.

"I want to look at that tool, and I also want to know who is included as the chosen people you mean," Cato said.

"You can see for yourself." Martin showed the hologram screen a full list of names with their photos.

Cato watched every picture. Every few minutes, the screen changes and the photos and data change, indicating there are more targets than he thinks.

"Wait on! Can you open that one?!" Cato's attention was drawn to some self-data that felt familiar to him. Martin who heard that immediately followed his request. The man immediately opened up the self-data that Cato meant.

The screen containing the list was then turned into a sheet of self-data information. From the photo that appeared before them, the person they saw right now was a small child whose age had not even reached a dozen years old.

Martin and Miles fell silent while watching the photos they saw. They also read the data written on the information.

Cato was silent without a word. His eyes were fixed on the photo that appeared before him. Not long after, a smile was etched on his face.

"I think we've found the right person" Cato murmured in a very quiet voice. Miles and Martin glanced at the now silent man. Their focus shifted back to the screen, looking for a plausible reason for his words just now. Until then they found something that really made them very surprised.
