"It looks like I'd better try to sleep." Rei got up from his seat. He walked up to the bed and lay there.
Both of her beautiful eye beads glared deep into the ceiling of her room adorned with stickers of the stars.
"Why can't I remember anything about my past? Again I can only ask myself without knowing what the answer is."
"For now, I just wish I could recall every past event I've ever been through, so that all my curiosity and all the questions that keep popping up in my brain could be answered," muttered Rei's memonologizing with himself.
Rei was now silent, slowly starting to feel tired. His eyes felt heavy, and then fell asleep.
...*...
Darkened. There was nothing else he could see but darkness.
Where'sme?
Rei spread his gaze around. He really did not know where he was, let alone where his surroundings were so dark.
Rei stepped up with both hands floating in the air, trying to grasp something that can be a handle and guide the way out of the darkness that envelops him.
But failed. Nothing can be his hold.
Rei continued to tread slowly and cautiously, afraid that in case his foot accidentally stumbled by something he could not see.
Where am I really? Why is it so dark? I can't see anything at all.
Rei's steps suddenly came to a halt as his two eyes saw a line of light from his front.
Rei narrowed his eyes with one hand that he now used to minimize the dazzling light he saw.
The vertical line of light he saw slowly grew larger, and more dazzling.
It grew bigger until the light shone all over his body. Now that he raised his other hand, he needed to use both to minimize the light he saw.
Taps! Taps! Taps!
Slowly. He heard the sound of the footsteps of someone walking in a slow rhythm.
Rei tried to peek among the light he saw.
His two eyes began to adjust to the bright light he saw.
Rei lowered both his hands slowly. He stared at the silhouette before him.
The silhouette of a tall man who was now walking towards him.
Rei could not see who the man was because he was walking back to the light, thus making his face dark not illuminated by the light.
Getting close. Rei was able to see his figure as the man's footsteps drew closer to him.
Rei was speechless, he could clearly see the color of the man's eyes. It was so bright blue and so beautiful. His eyes seemed to glow in the darkness that enveloped them.
Rei frowned.
The man continued to step up and stood about half a meter from where he stood petrified in his place.
Rei was now able to clearly see his figure within this close distance. The man had a firm jawline, blue eyes, white skin without pigment, and hair that was almost similar in color to his skin.
He's an albino. Standing in front of Rei with an intense eye gaze stared right at his two eyes.
They looked at each other for so long. Rei switched focus. He looked at her from top to bottom and then looked back at her face.
His eyes glazed for no apparent reason. His heart ached with his chest that felt tight. Rei felt a sad feeling.
