The My Hollywood System

The My Hollywood System
Chapter 129

Will Evans is browsing through the list of profiles Uncle Ben sent him, which he thinks will be useful for the remaining players for [Liberty City]. The DTA now, a fully autonomous company, under the umbrella of Dream Vision Studios, no longer needs input from it, as its chairman to function again. His company slowly became a needed giant before he could start working on his larger projects. And with the appointment of Benjamin Charles, his uncle as CEO of the DTA, he was able to handle the casting of most films and appointments affiliated with Dream Vision.

As the lead role for Mario was in Maruo, and the antagonist was eventually in the form of Don Vulpe, completed, with Leonardo De Le Rosa and Michael Robert Elrod, in their respective roles, The DTA had sent Will an entire list of A-ranked actors, whom they had originally snatched from the MCA, to be cast into [Liberty City]. While Tommy Vercetti will be one of the antagonists in the film, Will would like to later introduce the story of Tommy Vercetti in GTA Vice City, with him as the protagonist. [Liberty City] takes place a few years after the events of GTA Vice City.

Will had just finished selecting the entire cast, only a select few were still waiting when he heard the intercom buzzing, pressed the answer button, he said, "Yes, Alexia?"

"Sir, Mr. Charles asked permission to enter your office." He said through the intercom.

"Send her, Alexia." He replied, wondering what his Uncle wanted to talk about.

After a few minutes, a knock followed by his open office door, Will sees his Uncle walk into his office, with a smile on his face.

"Will! Good mornin. I've just come, because I forgot to attach Natalie Bergmann's file to the available candidates, and maybe help you in the final roaster selection." He told me, while walking towards him.

Will got up from his chair, hugged his uncle warmly, and said, "You're so nice, Uncle. Please sit. I almost finished the cast. You come on time, I think I can give support to Natalie. Please, sit. "He pointed to the chair across from his desk, as he returned to his chair.

"Yes, with the release of [500 Summer days], his fame will skyrocket, and people will research more of his work, which will help you with [Liberty City]." His uncle showed me, as he put the file on his desk.

"That's a good idea. What role did I give him?" Will muses, checks his archives, and reads personality profiles and descriptions of his talents.

"Well, based on your script, I think she'll fit in perfectly as Mario Di Mauro's girlfriend. His betrayal of Mario, and his later death will give him a more varied role in his portfolio, and I think he would be perfect for that role. That role for me, being a demanding and challenging woman, and she's also my ambition, it would suit her perfectly." Benjamin suggests.

Will nodded, as he finished looking through the files, and looked at his Uncle, "That sounds very suitable to him, I will make a small part of the script and send it to him. Let's see him take on his character later."

"It's okay, based on her performance in [500 Summer days], she's a versatile actress, she'll be perfect." Uncle Ben convinced Will.

"I know." Will said, "Now, I have to choose the role of two corrupt policemen and the Police Chief. And finally, Wilson Manfredi and Tommy Vercetti."

Uncle Charles thought of each role and then asked, "Let's start with Wilson Manfredi. Who are you thinking of?"

"Well, I'm actually thinking about James Moore. He had several roles as an older man, and he was half Italian, so I thought he could do it." would answer.

"James huh, I've worked with him, once or twice, he's reliable and for a short scene, he'll be fine. Although her Italian descent is only for show, she has to fix her accent, but she will. Good choice, police stay, we've got Officer Daniel Brown and Officer William Philips, what do you think of that?" His uncle asked, moving on to the next set of characters.

"Well, since this is an 80s hippie, and this is New York City, I want a very common face, not too handsome, not someone who will stand out in the crowd, he said, huh uh? They are police officers, looking for money. While doubling almost everyone on the plot, the police are very dirty who will fit undercover as well. So, I think of Ian Campbell for Daniel Brown, and Patrick Stevens for William Philips." He reveals.

Benjamin processed the names, tried to recall the actors from the previous interactions, and then shook his head, "Ian, despite being a good new actor, is no match for a police officer, no one, he's too thin and fragile. While she doesn't stand out much, her acting is good, but I would advise others. Jacob Poole would be good for the role. Patrick Stevens and he have worked together before, and they are also friends. So, it'll work." He suggested.

Will nods and attaches the files of Jacob Poole, and Patrick Stevens to their respective roles. "Now the Police Chief, and lastly Tommy Vercetti. I think the older man, for the Police Chief, he doesn't really have many roles, but he plays a role, so I consider William Abrams, he's a great fit, and he also did not need to change his appearance much. His white hair and mustache should be a great addition to his character and fit his day. What say?"

Uncle Ben nodded and said, "Yes, he will do well, in that role, and as a top veteran actor, he will attract a lot of people alone. That's a good idea. Finally, all that's left is Tommy Vercetti."

Will is considering Ethan Silva, for the role of Tommy, as his voice and character, somewhat similar to the character Tommy Vercetti remembered Will from GTA Vicet City.

Ethan Silva can essentially be considered the Tom Cruise of this reality, while he looks a little different from Tom Cruise, his film portfolio is similar to the movies made by Tom Cruise in the other real world.

During the Bar fight, Tommy will die from Mario's stab in the neck, and Mario will pass out from a gunshot wound that pierced his lungs, he will be saved by Don Vulpe's men. Don Vulpe will eventually use the power vacuum left by Tommy Vercetti, and try to take control, while hiring Mario as his enforcement, now that Tommy is dead.

Unbeknownst to him, Tommy will use the opportunity to complete his control over Tommy's business, lie to Don Vulpe and sell it to the police, the film will end, with Mario stuffed Don Vulpe strapped into his Infernus Pegasi, and threw him into the sea as he watched, and smoked a cigarette from the top of the mountain.

"I'm thinking about giving Ethan Silva a role, he'll be a good fit for Tommy Vercetti, his voice and performance will be perfect for the role. And I want to develop this movie into something more, and maybe give Ethan the role of Tommy in a future project" Will said.

"That's a fantastic idea, he'll be able to do various fight scenes exactly. That'sthat's all. All players selected? Then I will tell the agents we have for these actors. You've already spoken to Leo and Robert, we can finally consider [Liberty City] entering pre-production." Uncle Ben announced, and Will smiled at him.

A large group of girls were walking outside the cinema, just left a nearby bar, they were celebrating girls' night and wanted to pick a good movie to end their night, before heading home.

"I say, we have to watch [500 days of Summer], it was written by Will Evans, it would be amazing, I'm sure!" One of the girls said to the other.

"Rachel, you always pick a movie, let me pick a movie this time. Why don't we pick [love Zinon], I hear Zen is acting as the lead." The other girl answered.

"You're obsessed with Zen, Monica. Plus, the movie wasn't even good." Rachel answered. Their argument turns into a cat fight and the third girl interrupts.

"Mrs, stop! Stopit! We're gonna go to any movie and movie and decide there, capiche?"

"Yes, that's Peobe fair." / "All right, I can agree."

They walked to the entrance of the cinema, where one show had just ended, and the audience exited the show.

They heard a man say to his friend, "Gosh, [Zinon's Love] was just a bad attempt at the sequel to [Love me, Zinon], I felt like my money was wasted."

"Eh, at least we're having fun, aren't we, baby?" The woman asked, "Certainly?"

"Eh, right of course" The man replied nervously, and they walked away.

"Well, that's awkward," Peobe commented, and they could once again hear the other group discussing another film [500 Summer days].

"I love this movie, despite the sadness of seeing what happened to Tom, the poor guy. Thank you for bringing me here, it's fun. I think watching this has given me the courage to finally dump Ross." One of the girls in the other group interjected.

"Poor Ross, but I think we'll watch [500 Summer days], eventually." Rachel commented, and the three bought movie tickets and entered the cinema.
