The next day, Will wakes up early and goes running. In his previous life, he was lazy and did not like to exercise.
But after he found himself in this world, his mind had changed and he wanted to at least have a healthy body.
This is mainly because the original soul used to love the practice and that part of the soul also affected it a little. Although it wasn't a bad thing and Will even thought that it was better.
During his escape, he kept thinking about [the Blair witch project].
Now that the deal [17 more] is mostly done, she plans to start a horror movie soon. Not just as a screenwriter but as a director.
He always wants to be one and this feels like the right time to start his career.
Of course, he never thought that he would debut with a horror movie but he was a little desperate and [the Blair witch project] seemed like the best option.
A horror film rarely seen in Hollywood.
Not a classic but something that will definitely give the audience goosebumps.
Originally, the makers of [The Blair Witch Project] made it after noticing that paranormal documentaries were freaking them out more than traditional classics.
That's why, they have decided to choose the 'found recording technique' that is near death and after the film is released, finally the technique is revived.
As a result movies like [Paranormal activity] and [Cloverfield] later used it and even they appeared as sleeper hits.
In layman's terms, it means using a camcorder to record a movie and make it seem like a 'imitation'.
In this world, the footage techniques found do exist but have been dead for decades and no film makes good use of them.
At the same time, horror movies have become planners over time and the fear factor has been eliminated due to useless subplots.
This gave Will the opportunity to create something that could be even more successful than the original.
The story of [the Blair witch project] is quite simple.
It takes place in October 1994: three student filmmakers travel to Burkittsville with their DV camcorders, planning to investigate the legend of the infamous Blair Witch. In order to find the Blair Witch, they entered the forest near the city, but before long, they disappeared.
After that, people in the city and the American government began searching for them, even using helicopters and satellites. However, no trace was found so people had to stop the search.
One year later, another group of students enters the forest for exploration and finds a package in a very remote cabin. In the package, a missing student diary is found as well as an edited copy of the film, which records the harrowing story of how three students disappeared one year ago.
An edited film is one that the audience will see.
It was the most basic plot of the [Blair Witch Project].
While the film was in promotion, the crew informed the world that the film was directly edited on a copy in the story. It seems that the movie is real, but, in fact, it is just another fake story.
This type of marketing technique works like a miracle for a movie and appears as a big hit.
'Rather than plot, movies work because of the realism, marketing and luck factors.'
Will thinks after he returns from his escape.
Sitting in front of his desk, he wondered about how he would proceed with this project. Since plot was not the biggest factor, there were a few things he could change.
"It's only 35 pages. Most of the plot was improvised by the actors... The plot can be a little faster.and there are other things..."
Will muttered as he started typing on his laptop.
He will not just copy everything and make the exact same product.
He wants to do it better. Much nicer.

"June, I'm sorry. You're rejected from the next James West movie."
A somewhat shrewd-looking man said as he sat in front of June.
She was his agent and hearing his words, June even felt like crying.
They were at the coffee shop where they usually met and once again, she felt disappointed.
"Did they give a reason?"
He asked, trying to hide the sadness and disappointment from his voice.
"No, they're just saying that you don't fit into the role." His agent said with a frown. "That's just bullshit. They gave the role to Brittney Corvus because she slept with one of the producers!"
"He did it?"
"Yes, I did tell you, the producer likes you. But you didn't want to meet him alone and Brittney took the opportunity. That's how the industry works. If you're not fast, someone else will take what you should be able to get. yours."
The last line is something his agent often says and he knows that he is right.
But she doesn't want to sleep with someone for a role.
It felt like he was using his body instead of his talent to get a job. In fact, many people will
tell him that using your body is an art in the industry itself.
They talked more for a while about some of the other roles that June could do and how there were some upcoming auditions but June did not listen fully.
His mind was muddled with another refusal.
'Like this, I will always remain as a small-time actress.'
As he thought that, a shadow of the man he met yesterday appeared in his mind. He has told her that he plans to direct a film and is writing a screenplay for it.
It was an independent film and he wanted her to audition for it.
'If this was an independent film, at least I wouldn't get the lead role.'
That was the thought in his mind as he pondered his offer. Maybe, just maybe, it would be something valuable?
He pondered and hesitated to wonder if he should call out to her.
