Casting for [Sherlock Holmes] went well. Amanda took great care in finding a suitable actor for the role, and Will personally oversaw all auditions held at the theater they hired for two days.
Most of the small roles are already cast like this, and the only thing that is pending are some of the major roles that will play a significant role in the story.
Fortunately, most of the actors they screenplayed have responded well, and today Will, Amanda, and Jeffrey have even signed contracts for popular British actresses for the role of Irene Adler.
In the Dream Vision Studios meeting room, 5 people sat in their seats as they discussed the contract.
Will, Amanda, and Jeffrey are discussing a contract with Maria McCollins, an elderly woman who is also agent of Rachel Linden.
Rachel Linden is an English actress who was chosen for the role of Irene Adler in the film. She was a beautiful woman in her early thirties. She has been in Hollywood for a long time and is also quite a popular actress.
After seeing a list of films he had acted in, Will decided to list him as Irene Adler, who only appeared once in the original story 'A Scandal of Bohemia.' But in the film, Sherlock and Irene are in a romantic relationship.
After digging a few, Will thinks that Rachel will do her best as Irene Adler and calls him for an audition. Auditions have been conducted, and the current process of signing a contract only shows how well it is going.
He has done a good job of playing Irene Adler, and Will is very impressed, so Will decides not to go too long and enrolls her. The procedure will be taken by Amanda mostly, but she wants to be there when they sign the lead role of the film.
After some discussion, the contract was settled at 1 million dollars. No one had to negotiate as much as 1 million was not a small amount, and as an agent, Maria was quite satisfied with the amount Rachel offered.
After a while, they discussed more about the contract and its clause. Amanda says that they will send Maria a schedule for Rachel and hand over the script to Rachel to prepare, which she enthusiastically picks up.
Although she has acted in many films, films like [Sherlock Holmes] set in the 1890s will be her first, and she looks forward to it, especially after reading the script.
The meeting finally ended with everyone feeling happy; it was obvious after a large sum of money was paid. For Will, this is just an investment that will keep everyone happy and keep him from unnecessary complications if the movie gets big.
It is possible that it will not work at all and that Will should have worked with fewer budgets and more profitable films before jumping into such a big movie. But life is short, and Will wants this Hollywood world to be dominated by the blockbusters of his previous life and get people to experience the movies that have set the standard in his previous life.
Obviously, there were a lot of movies he could choose from rather than [Sherlock Holmes], but because he got the script, had money, and wanted to leave a deep impression on people, he said, this franchise will do everything for him.
After the meeting, Will was overjoyed to finally sign one of the lead roles for the film.

After Will's screenplay, Jared Morgan's agent, Perry Hopkins, comes to meet Will.
In Will's office, Perry sits in front of Will.
“It's a pleasure to meet such a genius young director.”
Perry laughed as he said. He's here to finish Jared's audition condition. Jared was busy filming, so only Perry came.
"The pleasure is mine."
Will said with a smile.
If anyone saw his innocent and charming smile, they would only think of him as a pure youth who had never seen the world, but being fooled by someone's business smile is one thing Perry has learned not to do with his years of experience in the industry.
“Sknownya very good. No comparisons were made with the 1990s [Detective Sherlock Holmes] by Z Studios. Jared also really liked the script.”
Perry said with a serious expression. Anyone who reads the script will agree with the words.
“I really thought about it; thank you for complimenting him.”
Will replied humbly as he got to the core of the matter.
"So, is Mr Morgan willing to join the cast of [Sherlock Holmes]?"
Perry's expression seemed to change as he said.
Perry saw Will's expression after he said that. There was no visible change in it, with the same smile as Will from the start of the meeting.
Jared Morgan is a handsome guy in all honesty. The role he had done until now was so well suited for him that his fame in the industry was built as a handsome antagonist.
She wanted to change it, and this role seemed like an opportunity to do so, so she told Perry to get the lead role for her.
Will, who hears what Jared wants, ponders over the matter. If there was no RDJ in this world, he would even agree to it, but since he had a pretty clear picture in his head of how the lead role was, he did not think too much before resisting.
“Ah, Well, Mr. Hopkins. The thing is, I've thought of an actor for the lead role, and I don't think that the role of Sherlock Holmes would fit Mr. Morgan. In fact, Lord Blackwood's role would be perfect for him.”
Perry was surprised to hear that. He didn't think that Will was thinking about someone.
It was common that a director would scout the entire cast then choose the main cast. Mostly because of the suitability that the director will take the time to choose the main cast of their film.
The matching lead cast is also one of the factors that determine whether the film is sinking or sinking; after all, it is, one would never think of Iron Man as anyone else after seeing RDJ play the role of Tony Stark. Although Will is slightly biased due to the fact that Michael has the potential to become the RDJ of this world, Jared Morgan will also be much more suited to playing the role of Lord Blackwood.
“If you don't mind me asking, who is this actor you think of?”
Perry asked carefully. Most of the time, the director would not reveal the cast to each other to not cause a conflict of interest, he was worried Will would do the same, and if he did, he would just walk away.
Will, who sensed the motive, did not hide and said.
“This is Michael Robert Elrod. He's one of the MCA.” actors
Perry had a puzzled expression on his face, and even after recalling a moment, he could not think of anyone with that name in his memory.
But after a few minutes, a face suddenly appeared in his mind. ICM has looked to many MCA actors to sign them in recent years, and for that reason, Perry still remembers the names of some obscure actors.
“You're talking about that guy? Are you serious? Isn't he one of the worst even in MCA?”
“Yes, the. He's not the worst; he just hasn't gotten a suitable role until now.”
Will answered calmly.
Perry had a strange expression on his face. He could not understand the absurdity of the situation he was in at the moment.
Will asks Jared, one of the top B-listers, to play the antagonist role while the nameless actor will play the lead role.
“Sorry if you think I'm rude, but are you really going to risk a 60 million dollar movie just because you want to be biased on an unknown actor? Is there a 'reason' you do that?”
Perry said in a annoyed tone. Right now, he didn't care what Will or anyone else thought of him. He was upset that Will thought it was a joke.
Will really understands where Perry came from. That would be a common reaction most people would have after knowing about Robert, and there was little Will could explain. Once the film was shot and released, it would be something else, but before that, most people would doubt Robert's qualifications.
“So what do you suggest? That I should kick Robert and take Mr Morgan as leader?”
Will asked again with both hands propping up his chin.
“Yes, this is not even a question. Jared will only work with you if you give him a clue. And if you don't do it, I'll make sure ICM blacklists Dream Vision Studios.”
Will raised an eyebrow at the obvious threat. It's not uncommon in Hollywood because it's just considered as harnessing power, especially against someone like Will, who hasn't established himself as someone who means anything in Hollywood.
"Since you're a senior in the industry, I'll definitely consider your advice."
Will said with a smile that never changed, making Perry click his tongue. He was annoyed at this very young youth yet did not lose his composure even in front of such a blatant threat.
If he did this with some established directors in the industry, he would definitely lose his job and even be blacklisted by all directors in the industry. However, since Will is young and only directed one film that is more of a homemade clip, he feels he can do anything to her.
