The My Hollywood System

The My Hollywood System
Chapter 143

Amy is surfing through her MeTube feed. She likes to watch dance videos and random cat videos on websites, and she usually falls into the rabbit hole of the terrible MeTube algorithm.

Apparently, MeTube had decided that she should watch a review video about some Hollywood movie, released by Dream Vision, called [1917].

He was too lazy to switch and found a different video. 'Oh, what the hell, you better watch it.' He was pondering as the video started playing.

[1917 – reviews.

for example

The video shows various clips of two soldiers crossing and walking through various different scenes, such as barracks, broken houses, no man's land, etc.

"Set less than twenty-four hours on the western front, the harrowing 1917 was simple in its story and stunning in its execution. Intimate, yet epic. Director Lucas Amspoker has presented a truly engrossing survival thriller, written by Will Evans, about two young British soldiers, Schofield and Blake, on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines."

The scene shifted, showing them standing tall in front of a commander.

"Your command is to deliver a message to call off the attack tomorrow morning. Otherwise, we would have lost 1600 people. Your brother's among them." Officer's orders.

The narrator again continues, showing more short scenes from the movie "No Soldiers were written to be particularly remarkable, after they were introduced. They were just two of the countless ordinary troops in the First World War. It was their habit and almost anonymity that lent the duo immediate sympathy and relatability. Both could be anyone, but they had been tasked to do something that looked extraordinary and heroic, he said, but it is a common feature of terrible wars.

The film depicts the vicious circle of a soldier who wants to rest but is ordered to perform a dangerous task. The arrogance of the 1917 film is that it was presented to us with one tracking shot. With fantastic cinematography from Dream Vision's lead cinematographer Jeffery Houlston, and Director Lucas Amspoker, the audience really felt that they were there, with the soldiers at the forefront.

This beautifully crafted film emotionally weighs heavily on the audience, with one of the main characters, Lance Corporal Blake, dying in the middle of the film, and various cuts and bruises were experienced by another main character, Lance Corporal Schofield, who was later exposed to a decaying corpse, a, the muddy rat and bandage make us believe that he too will die off-screen, despite his desire as well as reluctance to return home, to his wife and daughter.

Without dialogue in most films, the director, following the trend of Will Evans using new actors, uses phenomenal and emotional acting, in addition to beautiful and strange scenes mixed into a symphony of emotions for the audience to enjoy. The performances of new actors Elijah Thomas and Renly Warren are phenomenal to experience, with raw emotions put on the battlefield, clear for all of us to see.

1917 Emphatically puts what is humane, in an inhumane environment, by not glorifying the terrible war and accurately portrays the field realities that soldiers have to face on a daily basis.

This is certainly one of the best films of 2012."

The video ends with an infographic labeled "9.5/10 – Overwhelmingly Reviewed" as the screen fades.]

Amy did not realize she was so engrossed in the video that she appeared to be sitting on her bed, where she had previously been lying down while browsing a website on her laptop.

His interest was piqued, and he was very interested in watching the film.

"Jake! Sweetheart! Are you free tonight?" He screamed at his house.

A muffled cry "Yes, why, do you need anything?" come in return.

She smiled and immediately jumped out of her bed and rushed into the living room, where her husband lazily read the newspaper. She looked at him questioningly, and she continued, "Well, I was thinking, why don't we go to the movies tonight? We can let the kids go to Charles' place for a few hours."

Her husband blinked and titled her head, while folding the paper in his hand. "Yes, sure. He's gonna be Uncle Charles for Mac tonight. The movie sounds fun. We can go to dinner later too. Do you have a movie in mind?"

Dinner and movie dates sound fun to him, and his excitement is noticeable. "Yes, I was surfing through MeTube, and found a review [1917]. It's rated 9.5/10, and I think we can watch it."

Jake got up from the table and walked towards him. He said, "Okay, I'll book our tickets for tonight and then book a reservation at a nice restaurant. How does CZN Buraq sound?"

She smiled, hugged her husband, gave him a long kiss, and said, "That sounds good; it's a date then!"

Jake chuckles when he sees his wife running back to their bedroom to get dressed for their date later that night, his eyes staring at his ass for a few seconds.

He shook his head and started scouring his cell phone to find a nearby theater and booked a ticket for the night.

******

14 March 2012.

It was a simple style choice, modeled after the style of clothing that John Wick was known to wear frequently.

Eventually Will finished dressing up and wearing Carl F. Bucherer Manero AutoDate, the watch in his left hand, and walked out of the closet.

The first thing he did was return to his bedroom, where June lay. He walked beside her and placed his hand on her forehead, and said, "Yacht must be very bad for you, especially the dives you do into the sea. Your temperature shows no sign of going down."

He turned around as he felt his hand on his forehead and involuntarily smiled.

He looked into her eyes and said, "If you want, I can't go to the Oscars tonight. I can make you some more soup, and we can watch something together."

He shook his head, got into a slightly sitting position, and said, "No, I was thinking of eliminating the fever. The soup you made me was delicious. That's very helpful. Plus, I knew the Oscars would be important to you, so you left without me this time."

Will looked into his eyes and sighed, "Alright, but call me if you need anything, and I'll be right back. Okay?"

He nodded and said, "OK, remember to have fun."

Will smiled as he bowed, kissed her on the forehead, and said, "I'll, good night, baby." And walked out of the room, leaving a tired yet smiling June behind him.

***

Out of his 1979 grey metallic Ford Mustang, Will steps onto the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The flash of lightning showed that the camera went out as the surrounding Paparazzi rushed to take his picture. He handed the car keys to the waiter in, who waited at the beginning of the rolled-up carpet.

"This is Will Evans! Hurry up, take a good photo."

"Is he with someone?"

"Where's June Roberts?"

"Master! Do you think your movie will win the award tonight?"

"What about your other movies?"

"Will the 500 days of Summer win anything?"

A wide variety of questions were bombarded by the surrounding media, although they could not pass through the barricades separating the path leading to the entrance of the theater.

Will quickly walks onto the red carpet, stopping only when he sees the Weekend Court crew struggling to take some pictures. Quickly giving them a chance to take some pictures, she walked to the venue of the 2012 Oscars show.

He knew his film would at least be nominated for some awards, if nothing else. Taking her seat in the VIP section of the theater, she watched as the event began.

He kept his alcohol consumption to a minimum, choosing to sit between familiar faces, with Jeffery and his team from Dream Vision rather than with others.

Natalie Bergmann has won the award for Best Actress in a romantic comedy. He gave a brief speech praising Will Evans for most of his success.

Ewan Rees won the best actor award for [Birdman], where he once again gave a big award to Will for creating the story and allowing him to work on it. Robert was nominated for the award as well, for his work on [A Bullet to Kill], but the award was eventually given to Ewan Reese.

Will just smiled and socialized with his colleagues throughout the event.

She also stayed for the party afterwards for some time, and as she was about to leave, Amanda walked up to her and said, "Will, the CEO of OP Studios would like to talk to you. Sounds like it's urgent. Do you have time for her, or should I schedule a meeting later?"

He looked at his watch and sighed, "I'll see what he needs. Where is he?"

"She was waiting near the bar. If you want, I can arrange a private room for the two of you to discuss whatever she needs." Amanda offers.

Will nodded. "Alright, please arrange a room for us. I'll wait for him there."
