The My Hollywood System

The My Hollywood System
Chapter 68

"It looks like you have plenty of rooms to leave."

Sherlock said as he followed the prison guards as he looked around the now empty prison. The prison was more of a dungeon with mostly open prison cells, opting out for Sherlock's current questions.

"We have to move the prisoners, sir." The guard said without looking back as he walked forward, "Otherwise, we will riot. He had a strange effect on the inmates. As if ..."

His words came to a halt as he paused and looked at Sherlock, who stared back at him; the prison guard continued vigilantly, "As if... He can get inside their heads."

Sherlock looked at him for a while then replied cynically, "I'm sure I can find my way from here.... If you have any other tasks to do."

"It's very obligatory, sir," said the officer hurriedly as he prepared to leave, "Thank you, Master."

He said his last good-bye and left.

"If anyone has ears, let him hear."

A muttering sound rang out as Sherlock walked towards him.

"I stood on the sand of the sea and saw a beast rise with seven heads and ten horns. On top of his head were the names of blasphemy. They worship the dragon, which gives strength. They worshipped, saying, "Who is like that beast?" The animal I saw was like a leopard.... His feet from the bear, his mouth the lion, and the dragon gave him great power and seat and authority..."

Sherlock instantly looked through the bars with his eyes staring deeply into Blackwood in astonishment and curiosity.

"I love what you've done with the place" Sherlock said as he looked at the engravings on the prison walls. They were filled with stickmen, dragons, and wild beasts.

"It's nice that you can accept my invitation," Blackwood said without turning around.

"I only have a slight worry," Sherlock said calmly with his hands behind his back as he looked towards Blackwood.

"How can I help?" Blackwood smiled lightly.

"I followed the killings with a certain interest. While my heart is especially fixed on the victims' families, I cannot help but see criminal mastery in your brushstrokes." Sherlock commented with both of his hands in his pocket.

"You're too kind" As Blackwood tried to say something, his speech was interrupted as Sherlock continued.

"However, in comparison, you work in the basement ..." Sherlock sighed as he continued, "More like finger painting."

Blackwood, who was talking with his back lying on the wall with a small cult book in his hand, finally turned around and looked at Sherlock as he said, "So now you're wondering if there's a bigger game going on."

"That's it or umm.... Soon my friend will announce you're dead, and I think I can keep her company." Sherlock said as he looked at Blackwood.

"Your mistake is imagining that everything worldly leads to this moment. Your misjudgment is to assume that I'm not holding a brush at all. I'm just a channel." Blackwood said as he looked into Sherlock's eyes.

"Well, my only hope is that I can catch you sooner. You see, five lives might be saved." Sherlock commented with emotion.

"Cut!"

Will said as the scene ended. It was one of the most intense scenes where Lord Blackwood challenged Sherlock that three more lives would be lost, and there was nothing he could do about it.

The shooting is currently underway at one of London's oldest homes. It was quite large and had become a medieval themed shooting venue. It even had a dungeon that Will used to record the current scene.

Will walks towards the cameraman and his team and has them replay the scene; after confirming that the scene was captured perfectly, he orders everyone to proceed to prepare for the next scene.

"Director Evans."

"You can call me Will. Yea? What was? Is there a problem?"

Will asked while looking at Ewan.

"I just think I should give you some respect right now because I'm working on your movie. No, everything's fine. There's only one suggestion I have" Ewan said as he looked at Will.

He has earned a lot of respect for Will since the shooting began. All of Will's movements, gestures, and commands look so experienced and perfect that people will doubt that he is only 22.

Despite the age difference and the difference in experience between him and Will it makes it much easier to talk to him and get his ideas out.

"Yes, please," Will said with a smile, "I'll consider it if it's something good.

"The problem, in my opinion, is that Lord Blackwood's character is much deeper, but the depiction seems rather tame. I want to add a little variety to that .. like make it even crazier. Otherwise, he was currently giving off a vibe of a villain that was easily forgotten. Can I improvise some of his dialogue so that people will get more ideas about his background?" Ewan asked while waiting for Will's opinion on it.

Lord Blackwood is a great Sherlock villain because he is smarter than most people but not smarter than Holmes. Even though he is a great character, he clearly has no edge and is more of a quiet villain in the original film. Although she was supposed to hide much of the madness behind her silent mask, it was not depicted in the film. Otherwise, Blackwood is more of a Joker-like character.

"Good idea, and I don't mind applying it as long as it doesn't affect the quality of the film. And in my opinion, it will improve the quality rather than lower it. So of course, let me know about all the changes. You want. I'll help with what changes we can make and which ones we can't." Will smiled and said.

Ewan's portrayal of Lord Blackwood is completely different from Mark Strong, the original actor who played Lord Blackwood, and that's to be expected since the two of them are completely different characters. But Will feels it's much better than the original, and he even feels rather tragically that they won't use him in the sequel, and he'll die at the end of the movie.

"By the way, this Robert guy. Man, acting's good. I don't know how he's been hiding in the industry for so long." Ewan comments when talking to Will. Robert's impression of Robert increased drastically during filming, and he felt enough synergy when his dialogue with Robert came along.

Will only smiled because he knew this was bound to happen sooner or later, only that things were more difficult at first. First time is always unpleasant.

After that, they kept talking about what changes they could make and how it would look on the screen actually.

* Crack**Destroy *

A crushing sound came out as Sherlock continued to blink his eyes furiously.

"London has been very bleak this year."

Sherlock's eyes opened as he heard the voice of a woman from behind him.

The owner of the voice picked up the crushed walnut from the basket and stood up as he said, "It's not like I miss New Jersey. I'd rather travel in winter."

Sherlock adjusted the book he had in his hand as he raised his upper body slightly, leaning on his hand as he blinked his eyes at the intruder woman.

The woman sat in front of him and threw something in front of him, "Here I brought you this, far away from Syria. I found this beautiful date in Jordan and your favorite .... The olives of the Cyclades are having a little tea party. And when I was setting the table, I found this: A file with my name on it."

As the woman was browsing through the files, Sherlock quietly got up and opened the shelf. Looking at the contents, he heaved a sigh of relief and closed it again as he picked up the basket filled with walnuts.

"Theft of the portrait of Velasquez of the King of Spain. Missing naval documents led to the resignation of the Bulgarian prime minister scandal scandal ended the engagement.Possibly with the two Romanov princesses."

The woman closed her file and looking at Sherlock, she threw the walnut into her mouth and replied calmly, "I'm just studying your method... Should the authorities ask me to hunt you down?"

"But I don't see my name in any of these articles." The woman, Irene Adler, said with a light smile.

"But your signature is clear." Sherlock countered as he approached her and took the pendant hanging on her chest, "Is that the Maharaja's diamond missing?..... Or just another souvenir?"

"Let's not think about the past .... How's it?" He said by making a face that leaves no room for any compromise. Sherlock just looked at him strangely.
