In the grave, Josh shoots Heather as she stands with a dramatic expression on her face. Taking a deep breath like he was a little nervous because Josh shot him, he started.
"Same as a small town anywhere. No more than twenty families took root here more than two hundred years ago. Many of them remained, either on this hill or in the city below."
Josh took a step towards Heather to get a close-range shot as he continued.
"There are an unusually high number of children buried here."
The camera moves away from his face as Josh focuses on the gravestones around the grave.
As he returned it to Heather, he continued.
"Most of them died in the 1940s. Yet it seems that no one in this city remembers anything unusual about this time. Either way for us. But legends tell a different story. One of the evidences that is all around us, is engraved in stone."
Another shot of an angel statue was taken and that was when the scene ended.
…
In Josh's car, Heather holds the camera and shoots the front view as the car moves down the road.
Despite the view from the highway, the camcorder clearly recorded Heather's excited voice.
"Yes! Yehaww! Well, we've recorded the first scene! The funeral scene, the opening was taken!"
He pointed the camera at Josh and Josh smiling before showing him some crumbling, tangled 16mm films, facing towards the camera.
"This is our salad." Heather called.
"This is our souvenir."
"Yes, this is our souvenir from our first shot, our first scene at 16 millimeters. And we're proud of this salad."
He chuckles and the sound of laughter fills the car as the three young filmmakers move forward on their journey.
The next stop was to ask questions of the people living in this city.
* * *
[Yes, this is our souvenir from our first shot, from our first scene at 16 millimeters. We are proud of this salad.].
"You found an interesting idea for filming and your acting trusts you a lot."
Jeffery commented with June's voice coming out of the walkie talkie in the background.
They were right behind the three of them and following them. At the same time, they were watching the 'shooting' through walkie talkies.
"They're beginners and they might find this interesting. I mean, no one's ever made a movie like this."
"Yes, that's why it's innovative. Believe me, if the movie sells, the movie school will tell the students to research it."
"I wish it would happen."
Will chuckled and looked out the window for a moment.
All the methods he used were taken from the original film. And it worked out a little for them until now.
If everything went well today, they could finish the scene that would happen in the city and move into the forest where the real story would happen.
After all, it was initially there to set the tone for the rest of the film.
"Have you planted an actor in the city?"
Will suddenly thought of something and turned his head, looking at one of the crew members who was fiddling with his phone.
Will shook his head and smiled.
"If we tell them that, it will ruin the familiarity. They're supposed to feel like they're really the three filmmakers who shot the documentary."
In the original, the cast never knew that the person they thought was a resident was an actor. Will plans to do the same here.
"okay."
The crew member nodded and focused on his phone.

Heather holds a camera and interviews an old man they found in a public store. For their documentary, they need to get information from citizens because their words will be more trustworthy.
"We're making a documentary about the Blair Witch."
"Oh?" The old man smiled with a hint of surprise.
"Oh, have you heard of the Blair Witch?"
"Oh yeah, it's an old, old, old story."
The old man nodded his head.
They changed the camcorder to 16mm and started shooting for real.
"I remember Mr. Parr was an old hermit."
"true."
"He lived on a mountain, he had a place up there and had been up there for a very long time."
Said the old man and Heather nodded in understanding. Josh and Michael were standing behind watching the people staring at them.

After the old man, the three found a woman holding a baby and began interviewing him.
He was wearing sunglasses, Heather pointed the camera at him as she started asking questions.
"Have you heard of the Blair Witch?"
"A few times."
The woman answered in a real way. Heather continued her question.
"Several times, what was the first incident?"
"Well, I've heard stories about him from people and neighbors and stuff like that. But I've also seen a documentary on the Discovery Channel or something like that, about him, about ghosts and legends in Maryland."
After which, they cut the scene into a man wearing an upside-down hat.
"Yes, that's a story my grandmother used to talk about, to get us to bed early. He used to say that if you stay up too long, the Blair Witch would come and attack."

– ....will come and getcha.
Will and Jeffery, who have seen the situation from afar, listen to every interview from a walkie talkie.
A big smile fell on Will's face as he looked at how well everything was going.
