The My Hollywood System

The My Hollywood System
Chapter 190

The day Andrew was finally able to test the finished costume and see if there was anything else to adjust, finally arrived after weeks of waiting.

Andrew is waiting today because he has been training and building his body to make sure he has the perfect figure in front of the camera as Will has asked.

And it made her happy to know at last the day she could wear her own Spiderman costume and pick something that could make her reputation fly in the industry.

Will and Stan Lee stand in the middle of a studio where others are working on a given task around them. Everyone is busy with one thing or another.

Many of the tailors, designers, artists and people who are sought after are currently walking around. Andrew was inside trying to wear a costume made of– with size and everything.

"I wonder if it suits him," Stan Lee said as he looked at the people in front of him.

"Even if it doesn't fit on the first try, it will eventually fit in" Will said without showing any emotion.

Will has instructed designers to create several costumes, both from the comics and from his own imagination. With everything she researched and liked, she had instructed them to create costumes based on Spiderman's ps4 game costumes.

For some obvious reason, he wanted to keep the first film costume similar to Sam Raimi's. Will is very open to adding attributes for costumes to the front — and over time.

"So, what do you think, should we make a natural net instead of making a net shooter in a movie?" Will asked Stan Lee.

That question was something Will had to answer sooner or later. Something he realized from his previous world was that in most [Spiderman] movies, Peter Parker always made web-shooters. But in the first film, Sam Raimi makes Peter Parker shoot the net naturally, not the Web shooter.

The original idea was from James Cameron who made the film [Spiderman] during the 90s, but he dropped it, only to be taken by Sam Raimi.

"That's a unique idea, but why would you do it?" ask Stan.

"Well, the thing is, I just want the Spiderman movie version to be a little different from the comics. You know, if we take the whole concept into practical theory, it makes more sense than to think that a teenager is capable of making a truly scientific and crafted web shooter from scratch. So, do you understand?" Will asked, looking at him.

The deal with web shooters in the previous world is much deeper than it seems. Spider-Man Raimi is a bold adaptation of the source material, with enough changes to make the film appealing to a general audience without forgetting who the characters are in Marvel Comics. And one of those changes is the web-shooter; in the comics, Peter Parker creates a mechanical net shooter to wear on his wrist that can fire the fluid of the net, thus allowing him to swing around New York City. The web shooter is unique to Spider-Man and just because he was bitten by a radioactive spider, that doesn't mean he can also create his own web - at least, it didn't happen until Spider-Man in 2002.

It also explains how things change over time during production; sometimes, the entire storyline is removed, characters are cut or added, and for superhero movies, the details can be changed.

"It sounds realistic, and I like the idea too. I think we should do it" Stan murmured.

Within seconds, Andrew exited the small dressing room, wearing a red and black Spiderman– costume. He observed the costume himself while touching here and there in it, and Will and Stan Lee continued to stare at him as well.

Jeffery walked to where Will and Stan were, and stood beside them because it was the first costume Andrew tried.

"How are you feeling?" Jeffery asked, getting a laugh from Andrew.

"I feel great actually, but can't move my arm, the left one,"

As soon as those words came out of his mouth, a woman with a measuring line on her collar ran towards him and started asking questions while looking at how tight and why– was in that costume.

"To be honest it looks good for him, his body shape is growing rapidly, I can say," said Will, who got a 'yes' from Jeffrey and Stan Lee.

Soon after, Andrew was brought back to the dressing room to try something else. In the thirty minutes of— that Will, Stan, and Jeffery spent talking about the idea of [Spiderman], Andrew soon came out dressed in blue and red; spandex in blue again.

"How can I pee wearing this? Believe me when I say, I can hold it for only two minutes more" Andrew said and touched his crotch indicating that he needed to use the restroom.

"Geez, should we do something about that?" stan asked, seemingly confused by what had just happened.

It was the second costume of thirty different types, and he had to attend the nature call within seconds in it. Stan Lee had doubts what if something like this happened during filming. And if so, the entire design may have to adjust, and that too, in thirty more costumes.

Jeffrey looked at Stan and nodded, signaling that he had the same question.

That question left Will amused in many ways. It was then that he suddenly recalled an interview in which Tobey, Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield were bound, saying 'brotherhood' because of how they all find it difficult to do nature business considering how tight the costume is.

It was mainly because there was no zipper in his costume, but the only way out was to remove the entire costume at once. Tom Holland even admitted how he almost peed while wearing a costume and the whole situation made it even funnier for Will, given each incident.

"Let's talk to the designers, hey!" will shouted, attracting the attention of a designer.

"Is it possible to make a zipper or something, but that should be completely invisible to the camera. I don't want any accidents in front of the camera, but I can't make actors uncomfortable either, so do you have one? something in mind?" Will asked in one breath.

"I think I can do something about it. Don't worry,"

"ah! I'm sorry!" Andrew walked in again with a long sigh, yet looked satisfied. "It was a quick call that I had to make" he said and stood in front of everyone to show off his costume.

"I feel like it's very flexible but very strict" Andrew said, drawing attention again.

The following week, casting crews, including Will, were able to find other roles that had spaces in which the actor's name should be included. Nevertheless, Will was able to hire a group of actors and actresses who satisfied him– and even Stan Lee agreed to it.

For the role of Harry, they were able to audition and approve of Reagon Norris who had played the lead role in [500 Days Of Summer]. Will initially thought about how he would fit into the role perfectly, and then the agency happily got him to participate in auditions that made the process smooth.

For MJ, Will gets Rachel Linden. She is an English actress who works with Will– from [Sherlock Holmes]. The reason why he chose her was how he understood that he had a good understanding of the role and the understanding he showed with the character. Because of her appearance and how she thought she would be a good MJ, Will chose Rachel for the role. It took three days for her to confirm, audition, and close the role of MJ, given how enthusiastic Rachel was about wanting the role.

In addition to the crew, costumes and sets are also chosen and completed by Will, given he wants things to go faster. One morning, over a cup of coffee, he talks to Jeffrey and the rest of the crew, they go through each scene slowly and with the intention to cover every moment of them.

….

september 13, 2012.

It was finally the day when the premiere of [The Terminator] was held. After weeks of editing, finishing the sound, and finishing the film, it was finally ready for release in the eyes of the general public.

Before that, the day of the premiere came when actors and actresses from the crew had to watch the movie first. It was considered a big event with many paparazzi, reporters, and people holding cameras with flashlights on and off.

Nevertheless, these kinds of events are quite normal for actors and actresses who have sacrificed months of their lives for one movie.

Sitting in the car are Will and June. Outside, there were so many people standing in front of the main entrance, just to take pictures, ask questions and find out more about the prime minister or their lives, he said, with a device that can save or destroy lives for the day.

June looked nervous for a few seconds. It was his first prime minister where he entered as leader. Thousands of questions silenced his brain and continued to worsen his condition —-he was more worried about how people would take on his character and how he looked.

"Hey, it's okay. It's gonna be okay," said Will, grabbing her hand.

June turned to look at him from the window, where she kept staring the entire time.
