Chapter 108 The escape place to rest

Raymond intended to go home to get his things. Everything was packed and he only needed to transport it. Not much to bring. All he would bring was his personal belongings just like at the beginning he came to this city.

Raymond suddenly braked his car. He saw the woman he loved was helpless among those who looked at him cynically.

The car parked on the side of the road. He quickly got out of his car and he walked quickly towards Velicia. His heart ached greatly upon hearing all the blasphemy they had given Velicia.

Raymond's right hand held Velicia's hand which was covering her ears. Raymond could not let the woman he loved suffer alone. He wanted to share that suffering with her.

“Let's go,” said Raymond holding Velicia's hand and smiling at her.

With teary eyes and her quivering lips holding back her cries, Velicia got up and walked after Raymond.

Raymond's hand that held her tightly made Velicia even more convinced that the man who was holding her hand at this moment was the right man for her choice of heart. His love chose Raymond and he will try to take care of him.

Family, friends and precious people I have sacrificed for the love of one person. But why can't I let go of this guy's hand? Velicia said in her heart as she walked over and looked at Raymond's hand holding her.

Ferdi searched his house right then and there he found his wife nowhere. All the rooms in the house were quiet and cold. There was no warmth in the house.

“Mother.... Where are you?!”

Elsewhere, Tania is rummaging through the house Raymond lived in. He found nothing in the house. Raymond wasn't in the house. Even the personal belongings Raymond had in his study were nowhere to be found. Everything is not in its place. All of Raymond's books and others have been brought by Raymond.

Tania again contacted Ferdi and she told him what had happened at Raymond's house. He now needs Ferdi to help him separate Raymond from Velicia.

“It looks like the two of them went together. Raymond brought all his stuff. What about Velicia?” tanya Tania to Ferdi by phone.

Velicia's not home. But his stuff is still at home. Maybe they ran away together? I hope they will be home later tonight, as usual, Ferdi replied from across the street.

“Tell me if your wife is back,” Tania said before she ended her phone.

“Come in,” Raymond said as he turned on the house's room lights.

Velicia circulated her gaze throughout the room. He was amazed at every home decoration.

“You know Ve, this is my safe house,” Raymond said with a smile on Velicia.

“Hidden?” velicia asked with a confused face.

Raymond nodded in response to the question asked by Velicia and smiled at her. Then he said,

“This house is a relic from my parents. They really like this house. My mother designed every room of this house. And my father designed the decorations. That's why I won't sell it anytime. I want to stay here with the people I love. And I want that person to be you.”

Velicia's eyes glazed over hearing what Raymond said to her. Raymond's words made Velicia think of his desire to hear things like from the man she loved.

Raymond immediately wiped gently the tears of the woman who was crying happily in front of him. Somehow he felt so in love with the woman even though their status was no longer alone. Now everything has become puree. He decided to fight for his love and happiness.

“Do you want to see the most beautiful part of this house?” asked Raymond, who was trying to comfort the woman.

Velicia nodded her head and accepted Raymond's helping hand. Then Raymond took Velicia up the stairs to head to the second floor.

Raymond led Velicia into his room. In the room it could show how a little Raymond had not moved out of the house. Raymond's belongings are still neat and clean as is his habit so far.

After that Raymond opened the door that connects his room with the balcony of his room.

“Engine,” said Raymond while gently pulling Velicia's hand.

“Wah....beautiful..” said Velicia with sparkling eyes looking at the vast expanse of sky decorated with sparkling starlight.

Raymond looked at the face of Velicia who never got tired of looking at him. Then he smiled seeing the woman he loved was closing her eyes and breathing the air of the night after being fascinated by the beauty of the stars in the sky that night.

“Wah... there is a shooting star,” Velicia said after opening her eyes.

Reacted Raymond who was still at home to see the face of his lover, turned to look at the sky that was a shooting star at that time.

“I'll make a wish,” Velicia said with a sweet smile on Raymond.

Raymond nodded his head and he looked back at the pretty face of Velicia who was closing her eyes and praying fervently.

Maybe the stars are runaways like us. They need this place to rest, just like us, Velicia said in her heart.
