 Velicia pulled out her smirk. He smiled as if mocking Ferdi. Then he said,

Ferdi was shocked to hear what his wife had said. He really didn't think his wife had changed.

And most importantly Velicia did not believe her words about her relationship with Lani. His wife always believed in what he said.

The door to Velicia's room opened. There was a doctor who was treating him and a nurse following him.

Velicia, Ferdi and Lani fell silent. They kept quiet and lowered their heads.

"How are you doing, ma'am?" asked the doctor as he walked towards the Velicia bed.

"Sorry Doc, can the doctor tell the woman to get out of this room? And I hope this woman is not allowed to enter at any time, even though I am sleeping," Velicia said, pointing at Lani using her index finger.

The doctor looked at Lani. She kissed something was wrong because the answer from Velicia was not the answer to the question she was asking.

"Sorry, you have to get out of this room because the patient is disturbed by your presence" the doctor told Lani.

Lani widened her eyes hearing the doctor's words which blatantly drove her away. He really didn't think that the doctor was following Velicia's will.

Shameful, Lani is really embarrassed about being kicked out blatantly by the doctor. He looked towards Ferdi as if asking him for help. Either by defending him or driving him home.

However, Lani's desire is only her desire. Because Ferdi didn't do anything for her. Even now Ferdi was not looking at him at all.

With her heavy steps, Lani walked out of the room with her eyes still fixed on Ferdi. Step by step it slowed down while looking at Ferdi hoping that he would stop him.

Lani was disappointed. Now he was outside Velicia's room without any sound or action from Ferdi to stop him.

"Huffftt... Do I have to go home? By himself? I was lonely at home. Am I hospitalized here? But, is it okay to just get sick with the flu can only be hospitalized?" Lani monologues while staring at the door of Velicia's room that has been closed tightly to her.

"What are these nights like? Usually, taxis are rare at this hour" Lani said as she walked out of the clinic.

Lani stood in front of the clinic and stared at the building that read CLINIC HEALTH above the building.

He exhaled his breath looking at the clinic building standing majestically before him. Then he looked at the plastic bag he had in his hand.

Again he exhaled to see a plastic bag containing medicines for himself. Then he said,

"I don't like taking medication. Why did I have to take it? Did I throw it away?"

The sound of the car horn shocked Lani. Lani turned to the car behind her.

"Mr's Taxi?" the taxi driver from inside the taxi.

Lani sighed to hear the taxi driver's question. He turned back to look at the clinic. Then he said in his heart,

Is this really destiny? Why is it that when I don't want to go home, there's even a taxi approaching me? There should be no taxi at all so that I can go back inside to reason asking to be escorted by Mr. Ferdi.

"Quick in. Argo continues this way," said the taxi driver looking for a way to get his passengers into his taxi.

Inside Velicia's room, the doctor examined her and informed her and her husband of the results.

"Sorry sir, is it true that you're the husband of Velicia's mother?" ask the doctor to Ferdi.

"Yes doc, I'm her husband" Ferdi replied firmly.

"Sorry sir, you should not let Ms. Velicia take herbal medicine that has a bad effect on her disease. And for food you should give food that is easily digested because for now it is not recommended Velicia Mother eat food as usual. Please cooperate sir so that your wife can recover quickly," said the doctor to Ferdi.

Ferdi looked towards Velicia who was only silent with her cold face, without the sweet smile that had always adorned her face all this time.

"Okay doc, I'll follow the doctor's orders. Sorry doc, for my wife's illness how?" ferdi said seriously to the doctor.

"To talk about that I hope you can come to my room tomorrow. I'll explain everything to you. Now I'm willing to do my job first sir. Excuse me," said the doctor, nodding his head to say goodbye to Ferdi.

"All right doc, thank you" said Ferdi, nodding his head in response to the doctor's nod.

Just a step the doctor took, he turned his head back towards Ferdi while saying,

"Oh yes Sir. Instead of taking herbal medicine, I recommend you to see an obstetrician in order to consult him. It just so happened that my wife was an obstetrician and many couples managed to have offspring after consulting her. I just give advice. Hopefully Father and Mother can get offspring after consulting him. How's Sir?" 

Ferdi turned to Velicia. And Velicia just smiled coldly at him.

"We want a doc. Please arrange our meeting with the doctor" Velicia told the doctor.

"Okay ma'am, I'll arrange your meeting. Now excuse me. Good night" the doctor said before leaving the room.

"Why Mas? Ferdi doesn't like us having kids? Did Mas Ferdi want to have a daughter from that gatel girl?" velicia said sarcastically.
