Chapter 56 Is this destiny?

The next day Velicia woke up and was as active as ever. The pain is still often felt, only he does not feel it too much.

By taking the drugs given by his doctor he hopes that the disease will heal quickly and not relapse again.

Ferdi was still asleep on the sofa that he usually occupied along with Lili.

Velicia looked compassionately at her husband. She had not expected that Lili's death could have such an impact on her husband.

"Mas.. Mas Ferdi. It's noon" Velicia said as she rubbed her husband's arm slowly and carefully.

Slowly Ferdi's eyes opened and he slowly got off the sofa and walked into his room.

Velicia sighed and looked at the back of her husband who still did not take it. His attitude is still the same as last night.

Should I remind her to go to the hospital today? Velicia asked in her heart as she looked at her husband who had already entered the room.

Velicia was still hesitant to ask her husband. He prefers to prepare breakfast and fruit juices as usual.

A message notification sounded from Velicia's phone. 

He immediately took his cell phone from inside his pants pocket. The look on his face displayed the uneasiness of his heart when reading the message.

"Do I have to do it now? But this is our chance. And he promised. All right, I'll wake him up now, " Velicia said as she put her phone back in her pants pocket.

After he finished arranging the food and juice he had just made, he now walked towards his room.

Velicia sighed when she saw her husband still curled up inside his blanket.

Near her husband and she again sighed because now Ferdi was sleeping soundly until the sound of his snoring.

There was no other choice for Velicia. She had to wake her husband up even though he would be exposed to her scolding later.

"Mas Ferdi.. Mas Mas. we have been waiting for the doctor at the hospital" said Velicia while waking up her husband by moving Ferdi's arm.

Ferdi's eyes opened and he just stared at Velicia speechlessly. 

Velicia took her phone out of her pants pocket and fiddled with it for a while in front of Ferdi.

"I just got a message from the hospital. And we've got a queue number for a consultation with the doctor" Velicia said back while showing her phone screen containing a message from the hospital.

As if not interested in the contents of the message, he turned his back to Velicia and closed his eyes again.

Velicia, who was feeling sorry for her husband, is now upset with him. His promise to meet with their doctor now seems like a mere appointment. Even Velicia was not sure if Ferdi would want to do the operation again.

Velicia's hopes were dashed. He felt his household was already on the edge of the horn. In his heart he said,

Am I the only one fighting for the integrity of our household? Can I give up? I'm tired if I have to keep this up.

Velicia sighed violently. Then she decided to wake her husband one last time.

"Ck, what the hell? You go alone. I'm going to sleep!" exclaim Ferdi while closing his eyes.

"Mas Ferdi has promised to go to the hospital today. Did Mas Ferdi forget?" velicia asked in annoyance.

"Don't you see I'm grieving?!" ask Ferdi by raising his tone.

"Mas! Why did you become like this just because of a cat?" 

Out was already Velicia's annoyance. He told me everything in his mind.

"A cat you say? He's Lili. He is like our own son. Once you said it like that. Don't-don't you-"

"Yes right. I poisoned him. Just report me to the police so they can investigate. And you can put your wife in jail. Satisfied you?!" velicia said hysterically.

Then he came out of the room leaving Ferdi who was sculpting in shock at the utterance of Velicia who had never banged at him at all like now.

The door closed loudly. And it succeeded in making Ferdi shocked from inside his room.

With her regret for her husband that made Velicia become emotional. She vented it on her door when she closed it before she left for work.

The feeling of annoyance and anger to become an emotion was now felt by Velicia. With that feeling he walked quickly out of his house.

He doesn't know where he's headed right now. He simply obeyed where his footsteps led him.

Unknowingly, now he was in a park that also had a playground there. A place he always visited to calm himself down.

Lots of kids playing there. His heart was happier and calmer when he saw them laughing and joking.

"It seems like I should be here until later," Velicia said as she watched the little children playing together.

"It's funny, I don't even have a place to go at a time like this. Even in school I did not dare. I'm more afraid of being asked by them than being talked behind my back" Velicia said with a chuckle.

Now Velicia looked like a person who was confiding in herself. If anyone heard it, it was possible that he was mistaken for someone who had just gone crazy, seeing Velicia's clothes that had not been tattered.

He was there for a long time until the children came home and changed with new children.

Velicia refused to go home because she did not want to meet her husband. For hours she left her husband, but still her resentment and anger towards her husband remained in her heart.

"Velicia?!" chirped Raymond unconsciously.

It just so happened that the atmosphere was quiet at the time Raymond said Velicia's name.

Instantly Velicia turned to her and she was surprised to find Raymond who was not far from where he was sitting at the moment.

"Ray?!" chirp Velicia when she sees Raymond.

The two of them did not expect that they would meet under these circumstances.

The two of them had already avoided each other and tried to shake off their feelings. 

I don't know why it's like fate is playing them.
