Velicia did not expect that if the anticipated morning would be a pleasant morning to start a new day, now had to disappear.
All that was just wishful thinking, because this morning became a very bad morning for him.
"Is there anyone else sitting here except me and Mom?" velicia asked probing and unbeknownst to Ferdi Velicia looked at her with anger she was holding back.
"Who?" Ferdi asked Velicia back without answering the question Velicia had given him.
"Where do I know, then I ask," Velicia replied with her sewot.
Ferdi scrunched his forehead hearing his wife's unwell-sounding words in his ears.
"Why are you?" ferdi asked without looking at his wife.
Velicia smiled cynically at the question from her husband. In his heart he said,
What do I expect from you, Mom? It seems that I'm too stupid to still believe you. How could you possibly have something like this? I'm still trying to wait for you to tell me everything.
Ferdi's car stops right in front of a building that reflects the kindergarten of kindergarten. A colorful building with lots of toys in its yard.
"Ve, tell me. What the hell is it? Isn't our misunderstanding over?" ferdi asked with a serious look at Velicia.
Velicia who had been holding the car door handle pared her intention to open the car door when she heard a question from her husband.
He turned his head towards Ferdi with a cynical smile and said,
"really? Didn't Mas Ferdi promise to operate? Then when is Mas? Do I have to wait another decade until I can't really reproduce?"
Immediately Ferdi was stunned to hear the questions from Velicia. His eyes were shocked to hear it.
"Sorry," said Ferdi weakly as he lowered his head, unable to look at his wife.
Velicia smiled bitterly, her eyes glazed over at the sorry words her husband had said several times starting a few days ago.
He wanted to say everything he had in mind. It was just that his throat seemed to be choked due to the many tears that had gathered in his eyes so that if he blinked just once, those tears would definitely come out and drip by itself.
Velicia immediately opened the door of her car and before she got out of the car she said without looking at her husband.
"Later we'll talk about it again."
Then Velicia went down and closed the car door without facing her husband so that her husband did not know if there were tears on his cheeks.
He rubbed his tears after Ferdi's car left him.
Velicia smiled bitterly as she rubbed the tears that were dripping endlessly on her cheeks. Maybe because there are too many tears in her eyes. Or maybe it was because his heart was too sick that tears were not inexhaustible out of his eyes.
"Damn, why are these tears not inexhaustible?" velicia said with a bitter smile rubbing the rough tears that were carelessly dripping without excuse.
Velicia stared at the building that had been her workplace for several years, after which she walked in another direction.
"It seems like I can't meet them today" Velicia said as she walked down the sidewalk of the road she walked through every day.
Unknowingly, Velicia's feet took her to the park where she usually sat pensively in that place.
Sit him on the park bench he usually sits on. Lots of toddlers and toddlers who are not in school are playing there with their mothers or caregivers.
Velicia's tears are back. He imagined himself playing with his son there.
She recalled the thing she found in her husband's car. He wiped back his tears and immediately took the object from his bag.
He smiled bitterly as he looked at the small mirror bearing the name of the owner on the back of the mirror.
"Lani," said Velicia while smiling bitterly reading the writing on the back of the mirror.
He opened the lipstick lid and he chuckled to tears when he saw the red lipstick blushing.
She laughed at her stupidity so much that it hurt her heart and the tears came back to drip with her piety.
Her heart ached at the thought of Lani wearing lipstick in a red hue, smiling seductively at Ferdi.
Her crying broke when she imagined Lani and her husband laughing together in her husband's new car.
"You have the heart, Mas" said Velicia softly interrupted by her cries.
Raymond who was walking through the park stopped when he saw the figure of a woman he knew very well.
Her approaching steps towards Velicia came to a halt when she heard her crying voice.
"Ve!" said Raymond while holding onto Velicia's shoulder from the side.
Velicia turned to the side and immediately wiped away the tears that flooded her face when she saw Raymond standing beside her.
"What's Ve?" asked Raymond while sitting next to Velicia.
Velicia tried with all her might to keep her tears from dripping back.
Unfortunately, her tears did not comply. Those tears dripped with a rush to make Velicia stunned in her tears.
Seeing Velicia cry like that made Raymond's heart ache. He subconsciously pulled Velicia's body to be in his arms.
"Cry Ve, so that your feelings can be calm . Tell me everything so you can feel relieved" Raymond said, rubbing Velicia's back.
Velicia's cry grew even more so when she was in Raymond's arms and listening to him speak.
Raymond increasingly could not bear to hear Velicia's crying that sounded bitter and heartbreaking. Unknowingly she hugged Velicia even tighter to say that there was herself who could protect her.
After a while, Velicia's cries subsided. And there was only a small sobbing that made him have to let go of Raymond's embrace.
"What's up Ve, tell me. I will help you as much as I can" said Raymond softly.
Velicia was still sobbing and she couldn't say anything. Those words were very difficult to get out of his mouth.
"Ve, we're friends, aren't we? Tell me so that you can feel relieved," Raymond said as he stared gently attentively at Velicia.
Velicia did not answer. He just kept silent in his sobbing.
"Does this have anything to do with being in the hospital at that time? I'm sorry I didn't see you because you forbade me from coming to the"
"He had a vasectomy" Velicia interrupted Raymond's speech.
At once Raymond's eyes widened in shock at what Velicia had said.
"W-what?" asked Raymond stammering in surprise.
Velicia rubbed back her dripping tears. Then he turned to Raymond and said,
"That's right, it's appropriate that for all the years of our marriage, I haven't been able to get pregnant. Until my mother-in-law thought I was barren" Velicia said in a trembling voice and slightly choked from holding back her cries.
Raymond looked pityfully at Velicia and he held onto Velicia's two hands to calm her down.
Velicia tried to tell Raymond. He told Raymond everything. About her husband's vasectomy act as well as about Lani in their household. And of course, her tears always accompanied her every word.
Raymond immediately brought Velicia's body back in his arms. She tightly hugged Velicia who was back crying in her arms while gently rubbing Velicia's hair.
Unknowingly Raymond's tears trickled down accompanying Velicia's cry. He only wished for Velicia not to return sad and down like that.
