Chapter 78 Coffee is a problem-bearer

"Come in!" ferdi said as he opened the car door for Velicia who was walking after locking the door of the house.

Velicia lazily actually responded to the remark from her husband. Even looking at him he was reluctant.

However, in his heart reminded him not to repeat the same mistake again.

Lately she's been acting disobedient to her husband and looking for her own happiness. 

Velicia opened the car door in the back, she did not want to sit in the front even though Ferdi had opened the door for her.

"Mother, sit in front. I promise you, this chair is not allowed to be occupied by anyone but you. Not even Mom would I let you sit here. Believe me," said Ferdi with a pleading look at his wife.

Velicia sighed heavily. He does not want to return. Moreover, he heard the name of Ferdi's birth mother who seemed to be disobedient to him.

Get Velicia in the car and sit her in the front seat. Ferdi's lips smiled as his wife complied.

"Have you re-applied to the hospital?" ask Ferdi after wearing his seatbelt.

"Yet," said Velicia flat expressionlessly.

"Register, I promise this time it won't be like that time anymore. At that time I did not intend to cancel our appointment to the hospital. Mother knows for herself that we just lost-"

"I know. And for now, Mas Ferdi himself only signed up," Velicia said back with a flat-faced expressionless face.

"But I'm ashamed Mother. Better Mother who-"

"What when Mas Ferdi had a vasectomy did I also register?" sahut Velicia came back sniffly and smiled cynically at her husband.

Ferdi swallowed his saliva with distress. Again he was made unable to wiggle by his wife.

Silent, Ferdi did not dare to answer his wife's question. He was afraid that his wife would get angry with him.

He ignited his car engine and drove the car to his wife's workplace.

"Later I will make an appointment with his doctor," said Ferdi softly, but can still be heard by Velicia.

Velicia did not give any answer and she did not respond with any words or reactions. 

Begi Velicia is now a promise Verdi can not expect anymore. Even she was not very hopeful with any promises from her husband.

Ferdi's car stopped in front of the Kindergarten school which became a place to work as well as a place to entertain themselves for Velicia. 

Those extremely adorable children made Velicia strong through her household for these few years. That's why he didn't want to give up his job before he got his real happiness.

Velicia glanced at Ferdi's coffee tumbler. And next to it there is a coffee cup with the writing of the famous cafe on the cup.

Velicia sighed after seeing that. She cursed her folly of painstakingly preparing coffee for her husband.

He picked up the coffee tumbler and took it down from the car.

"Loh Bun, Mommy.. Bun, that's the coffee why was it taken?" ask Ferdi while getting out of his car.

Velicia who had taken a step, now stopped her steps and turned her head towards her husband.

"This coffee?" velicia asked while showing the coffee tumbler in her hand.

Ferdi nodded his head in response to his wife's question.

Velicia smiled sinisterly and threw the coffee tumbler away at the trash can that happened to be nearby.

"Loh Bun, how was it thrown away?" 

"Why do I make coffee difficult if after all it will not be drunk and thrown away as well. It seems that now Mas Ferdi already likes coffee made by others," Velicia said with a cynical smile.

Suddenly Ferdi's eyes were wide. He didn't think his wife had such strong instincts. 

"But Mother-"

Without needing to listen to the explanation from her husband, Velicia immediately left the place. She felt that there was nothing else that her husband needed to explain anymore.

Ferdi came back like a fool who was proven to be cheating. Velicia's words reminded her of the coffee given from Lani who had been placed on her desk every day.

He could not resist it because every time he came, the coffee was already available on his desk. And he couldn't spend that coffee at once.

And unfortunately, the coffee in the tumbler was sometimes not drunk because at lunchtime, Lani gave him back coffee for him.

Ferdi got into his car lethargic. As he was about to put on his seat belt, he saw the coffee cup that Velicia had just seen.

"Damn! Must be because this cup Mother is angry. Why didn't he throw away all these cups after we had lunch yesterday? You spoiled girl!" ferdi said as if scolding Lani, but strangely his lips smiled remembering her.

After that he looked towards the clock that was coiling in his right hand. Then he said,

"Damn! I gotta hurry. If not, I'll be late."

The car was quickly driven. As an exemplary officer he cannot set a bad example to his men.

Velicia's heart broke again, but strangely she no longer felt the heartache. She was indeed disappointed in her husband about his homemade coffee that he did not drink. 

It was just that Velicia thought that Ferdi had bought it himself, not given it by someone else. Even when Velicia said that Ferdi had been made coffee by someone else, she was only talking about the employee in charge of making coffee at the cafe.

However, in Ferdi's mind, his wife was talking about Lani who had given him coffee from a famous cafe.

Mood Velicia was currently in a bad mood. Not even what he did did was successful. He also felt that his heart was aching as a result of deciding to release Raymond that affected his days.

He felt as if his happiness had been forcibly snatched away after he had enjoyed it for just a short period of time.

"Ve, are you sick?" vira asked as she pressed the back of her hand against Velicia's forehead.

Velicia removed Vira's hand from her forehead. Then he said,

"No Vir. I just feel like I'm alone."

Vira understood that Velicia was currently having a problem. Understandingly Vera patted the small shoulder of Velicia while saying,

"alright. Hope your problems are over soon."

Velicia smiled and nodded her head in response to what Vira said to her.

"Ve, it's noon. Let us prepare teaching materials for tomorrow. You better go home or have lunch first so you don't get sick anymore" said Rani as she pulled Velicia's hand out of the room.

Velicia also obeyed the words of her friend. He walked home with his limp steps down the road he used to walk.

Velicia looked at the bus stop from her current place. He re-imagined that moment, the moment where he and Raymond were traveling together. 

Her lips curved upwards and displayed her sweet smile. It was a happy face because of his smile.

"Ve!"
