Chapter 86 Raymond's Statement

Raymond and Velicia's hand grips made their hearts happy, calm and comfortable. Just holding hands makes their world beautiful.

Will he be able to hold her hand like this? Can you join hands and hold each other without hiding like you are today? Velicia said in her heart.

I want to keep holding him like he is now. And I don't want to let go of the hand of the woman I love. Can I keep holding her hand? Raymond said in his heart.

“Extapose again. One... two... three.. Smile...” exclaim waitress who is capturing their moment of togetherness.

The four of them also smiled following the directions given by the waitress who acted like a photographer when taking their photos.

Even Raymond and Velicia who had been flat-faced, now they both smiled revealing an aura of happiness on their faces. Thanks to the grip of the hand, their smiles grew. And thanks to the grip of the hand it can slightly treat the heart that they are feeling.

“Already Mom. This, please see the results,” said the waitress while giving the phone to Tania.

Raymond and Velicia's hands slipped off. In a moment they felt happiness. And right then and there they have to face the fact that their hand grips have to come off.

“Emmm Mas... I'll go to the toilet first,” Velicia said softly to her husband.

Ferdi, who was looking at the screen of his phone, turned to his wife and then said,

“Oh yes. Careful.”

Raymond glanced and listened to the husband and wife talk. He felt that this was his chance to talk to Velicia. She wanted to say what she had been feeling all along when Velicia decided not to meet each other.

“I'll take the phone first,” Raymond told his wife while showing her phone.

Tania who was looking through the photo was smiling happily and responding to her husband's words without looking at him.

“Iya. Don't be long.”

Raymond walked quickly towards the street that Velicia was walking on. He hoped to see her before their partner looked for them.

Velicia's chest felt tight. All his sadness felt clumped in his chest. Even her tears could not be held back. Those tears escaped just like that as Velicia walked into the toilet.

Velicia's hand was held tightly by someone until she stopped her steps and turned her head back. His eyes widened, his lips trembled and the spheres of his tears trickled back when he saw the person who grabbed his hand at this moment was the man who had always been in his heart. Even her name was beautifully engraved in Velicia's heart, making it extremely difficult for her to get rid of.

“Sorry. Sorry I couldn't help it. I want to always hold this hand,” said Raymond with a compassionate face and looked at his hand holding Velicia's hand.

With a patter of tears, Velicia looked towards her hand held tightly by Raymond. He tried to let go even though his heart said no.

Similarly to Raymond, he had no desire to let go of his hard-earned hand.

Feeling Velicia not rejecting him, Raymond grabbed Velicia's body into his arms while saying,

“I don't feel like I can live without you,” Raymond said in a voice that shook as his tears were now dripping down his cheeks.

Hearing that, Velicia's heart grew even more sick. Even now he felt very tormented by his feelings of love. His tears were getting unstoppable. The tightness in his heart due to their separation, was now a little relieved from his cries.

Velicia was carried away. She no longer thought about the presence of her husband and Raymond's wife. He was busy calming his wounded heart. Raymond's embrace and all of his love statements are like a medicine that heals his wounds.

After Raymond regained consciousness, he immediately pulled Velicia into one of the toilet cubicles and closed the door, locking it.

Inside, Raymond hugged Velicia tightly to channel all her feelings that had tormented her.

Velicia bit her lower lip. With all her might she muffled her crying voice so as not to be heard by anyone even though her tears carelessly came out drenching her cheeks.

After a while, Raymond parsed a little of his embrace and stared fixedly at the face of the woman he had always missed. Then she brought her lips closer to Velicia's ear and whispered,

“I miss you. Miss you so much. I feel crazy for not being able to meet you. I beg you, don't do that to me.”

Velicia got stronger biting her lower lip as her heart grew sick to hear the bullying from the man she loved. So that his tears were getting louder out of his eyes.

Seeing that, Raymond could no longer hold back his taste. He could not see tears of sadness coming out from the beautiful eyes of the woman he loved. Only tears of happiness can come out of those eyes.

Raymond brought his face closer to Velicia's face, his lips closing in and gently kissing Velicia's two eyes alternately. He did that to stop Velicia's tears from coming out again.

“Don't cry again,” he said softly while staring intensely at the bead of his lover's eyes.

Velicia nodded her head in response to Raymond's request. But when his eyes blinked, his tears casually trickled back.

Raymond kissed Velicia's eyes in turn. Then he kissed her nose, both of her cheeks in turn and lastly he kissed Velicia's lips gently and full of squeezes.

In that kiss they both channel their feelings of love, their affection and the unwillingness to lose. They want togetherness and do not want to lose their love that makes them tormented.

After a while, Raymond let go of the kiss and wiped away the trace of tears on the beautiful face of the woman he loved.

Their gazes still clashed. Until after they felt safe, Velicia came out first leaving Raymond still inside.

Velicia again sat down next to her husband by lowering her head and hiding her face by unraveling her hair covering her face. She simply did not want Tania who was sitting in front of her to know the trace of tears on her face.

“After going to the toilet. Does your stomach hurt again?” ferdi asked softly next to his wife's ear.

Velica shook her head silently in response to the question her husband had asked her.

Ferdi felt strange with his wife's current attitude.  He smiled stiffly as Tania noticed him asking his wife.

Tania also felt strange with Velicia who behaved like nothing before. He wanted to ask her, but when his lips opened were about to say something, Raymond came and sat down next to her, so he paused his intention to ask Velicia.

It turned out that Raymond could not hold his gaze. His eyes were always staring at Velicia. She was afraid that the woman she loved would cry like that.

Tania was going to ask her husband about what he did earlier so she waited a long time. But, those words couldn't get out because Tania saw her husband's gaze pointing at Velicia. Even her husband's views were not cut off at all.

Tania looked at her husband and Velicia in turn. He felt strange about the current situation. In his heart he said,

What's the matter? Why is the situation so strange like this?
