Chapter 58 with You

Raymond and Velicia ran small in the rain in Raymond's coat until a fork that separated the direction of their home. 

Their eyes said they were reluctant to part. Unfortunately time is not on their side. Now they have to separate. 

Velicia ran small towards her house. Thankfully, the rain is already a bit off. Just a drizzle makes the current romantic atmosphere.

Raymond was still watching Velicia until she disappeared from his sight.

The feeling of emptiness and loss is now beginning to be felt again. That's what they both feel right now. 

After Velicia disappeared from his sight, Raymond immediately walked home to his house.

With light steps and a smile adorning her slightly wet face, Velicia entered her house without thinking about her irritation towards her husband.

"Where are you raining like that?" ferdi asked as Velicia entered their house in a slightly wet state.

Velicia was shocked and she recalled her frustration with her husband. 

Without answering any questions from her husband, Velicia walked away from her husband who was in front of her.

Velicia ignored her husband even though they were walking past. She immediately went inside her room to clean her body and change her clothes.

When he faced the mirror, he saw a reflection of himself along with Raymond. Everything he saw in the mirror felt real and could still be felt.

He held her lips while looking at her from the mirror. It was still warm and pleasant to kiss her with Raymond.

Subconsciously her lips curved upwards, smiling in light of their kiss earlier. Her heart was very flowery and her heart was beating very fast despite just remembering it.

Suddenly Ferdi entered into his room and walked up to Velicia. Clearly visible nervousness of the face and the way Ferdi walked at this time.

Velicia simply glanced over without intending to ask him. She really wanted to ignore her husband. Her heart's regret was now felt when she saw her husband's face.

Suddenly Ferdi hugged Velicia from behind. He closed his eyes while saying,

"Mother, I'm sorry. I have absolutely no intention of making you angry" said Ferdi, opening his eyes and looking at the mirror that showed them both.

Velicia was surprised by what her husband said. She had no idea what her husband was doing right now. 

She just fell silent while looking at her husband's face from the mirror that was in front of her. She wanted to know the truth of what her husband said.

The face of her husband made Velicia become compassionate towards him. Her resentment became melted and her heart became moved to forgive her husband.

It was not because of her love for her husband that made Velicia forgive him, but because of her guilt for her husband that made her heart no longer hard on her husband.

The guilt came from his heart that loved another man. He held her fingers and twisted her wedding ring with Ferdi.

She wanted to feel what tremors in her heart were now upon her husband. He felt really nervous and empty. 

It was different when he was with Raymond. His heart felt comfortable, calm, happy, felt cared for and loved.

"Darling, can we do it now?" asked Ferdi while kissing his wife's nape.

Velicia immediately stood up from her seat as she said,

"I'm hungry, I have to cook."

While Ferdi looked at the back of his wife who seemed to reject him as her husband.

He did not blame Velicia because he was self-conscious if he was the one who was too hard and selfish towards his wife.

She had been thinking in her solitude all day when Velicia left her in a state of anger at him.

He feels guilty for his wife and feels that he caused her anger.

Soon he came out of his room to catch up with his wife. He did not want to lose the opportunity to apologize to his wife.

"What are you cooking?" ferdi asked as he approached Velicia who was cooking.

'Just make fried rice. I've been very hungry and the rice is still a lot. I just make everything into fried rice. Do you mind Mas? If Mas Ferdi objected, I'd cook some more rice for you Mas" Velicia said as she stirred the fried rice in the pan.

"I love your fried rice. I eat that only. Mother does not have to cook rice anymore," said Ferdi while leaning on the wall not far from the stove and looking at Velicia's face.

Velicia understood if her husband was watching her, she felt uneasy being stared at like that by her husband. Then he said,

"Mas Ferdi should just arrange his dinnerware at the dining table. Soon the fried rice is ready," said Velicia without turning to her husband who was looking at her.

Ferdi immediately turned to the kitchen to pick up their cutlery and arrange it on the dining table.

He acts like a submissive son to his mother. He wanted to take back Velicia's heart so that their relationship was not like a hostile person.

Velicia brought her homemade fried rice and cow-eye eggs for her husband. Then he took it for himself.

Velicia was actually eating silently. She did not want to talk to her husband because she felt that he had lied to her and not kept his promise.

Ferdi was uncomfortable with their current state. After she swallowed her food, she said to Velicia,

"So where'd Mother go? Did you teach until the afternoon?" asked Ferdi who was intending to make small talk, but Velicia felt that her husband was investigating her.

Velicia stopped eating her, she looked at her husband who was also staring at her while waiting for a response from her.

Then she looked the other way and went back to eating her food without looking at her husband.

It seemed that Velicia was very misbehaving. He really can't lie. It's very obvious if he's lying. And Ferdi knew about it.

Velicia ate her food quickly, as it was not enjoyed, just chewed and swallowed. 

By the time Ferdi was about to open his mouth preparing to speak, Velicia immediately stood up from her seat while carrying her plate and glass towards the kitchen.

Ferdi felt that Velicia was acting strangely. She was sure that Velicia was not angry with him. Because his attitude says something else, like he's hiding something.

Armed with sponge and dish soap, Velicia washes her cutlery while biting her lower lip.

She felt guilty for her husband. She did not want to get angry at her husband.

It's just that she still feels annoyed at her husband who easily canceled their appointments with the doctor who handled Ferdi's surgery all along.

"Mother, are you still mad at me?" asked Ferdi while carrying the dishes and all his used utensils.

Velicia turned her head towards the back where her husband was standing waiting for her to finish washing the dishes. Then he said,

"Did I lose to Lili Mas?"
