Chapter 64 The Mother of Love?

"Where's your phone?" bu Anisa asked Velicia while extending her hand.

With hesitation Velicia pulled out her phone from her pants pocket. She was reluctant to give her phone to her mother-in-law because she was afraid there would be a fight between her husband and her mother-in-law.

Quickly, Bu Anisa's hand grabbed the phone in Velicia's hand. His forehead shriveled when Velicia's phone could not be opened.

"Ve, this how do I open it?" asked Bu Anisa while giving the phone to Velicia.

Velicia also received the phone and opened the password key. After that, she searched her husband's mobile number in her phone contact and handed it back to her mother-in-law.

Soon on his phone, his son. With a hunting breath, Miss Anisa called Ferdi's mobile number.

Hello, Mother, Love is sick, said Ferdi in a soft voice withstanding sorrow.

"It's Mother. Where are you Ferdi? I was waiting in front of your house" Anisa asked by phone to Ferdi.

Mammy? Mom why is it there? Where's Velicia? Why is HP on Mom? asked Ferdi who was surprised to find his mother who uses his wife's cellphone.

"Your wife is next to Mom. Tell me, where are you now?" asked Anisa's mother impatiently.

Give Ve Bu the phone, I'll talk to him.

Instead of answering her mother's questions, Ferdi instead told her mother to hand over the phone she was wearing to Velicia.

Anisa's mother gave her phone to Velicia while saying,

"This, speak. Ferdi wants to talk to you."

Velicia received the phone and spoke to her husband.

"Hello, where's Mas Ferdi?"

Mother, I was at the veterinary clinic usually. Love suddenly drowned. He is sick, Ferdi replied in a soft voice enduring his grief.

Instantly Velicia widened her eyes, her mouth opened in shock at the words from her husband and the reflexes of her hands covered her mouth.

"I'll be there soon Mas" Velicia replied in a panic.

Soon Velicia ended her phone and put it back in her pants pocket.

"Mom, Mas Ferdi is at the veterinary clinic. Love is sick, so I will go there now. I'm gonna wait at home or-"

"Love? Who is Love?" ask Bu Anisa with curiosity.

Velicia hesitates to tell her about Love to her mother-in-law. She knew very well that her mother-in-law did not like cats in their home.

"Emmm it's Ma'am, Mas Ferdi's pet kitten to replace Lili," Velicia replied hesitantly.

"Mother follow. I want to know how much Ferdi worries about his kittens instead of having children of his own" said Ms. Anisa by showing her frustration.

Velicia held both of her mother-in-law's hands and said,

"Mom, Ve please don't quarrel with Mas Ferdi. We'll talk good later when we're home."

Anisa's mother looked gently into her daughter-in-law's eyes. Then he said,

"You're so nice Ve. Even very well. Maybe you're too good for Ferdi, Mom's son. Forgive me if I blame you for not having children."

Slowly the tear spheres Velicia dripped. She did not expect that her mother-in-law would apologize to her after she found out the truth.

It turns out Mom was as good as ever. I'm sure we'll be back as we used to be. I will convince Mas Ferdi to want to do another operation so that we can quickly have offspring, Velicia said in her heart as she rubbed her tearful eyes that fell on her cheeks.

"Love, this is Mother. Here carry Mother first," said Lani while taking Love from a sling Ferdi.

Velicia's lips opened. She was about to call her husband, but she was surprised by Lani calling herself Mother for Love.

Seeing the startled reaction of her daughter-in-law who was beside her, Bu Anisa immediately called out to her son with her unstoppable vexation.

"Ferdy!" exclaims Bu Anisa while walking closer to Ferdi.

Ferdi and Lani turned to the source of the voice. Ferdi's eyes widened to find his mother showing her anger at this moment.

After that he turned to look at his wife who was standing by the door while covering her mouth using her right hand and looked at her with teary eyes.

"Mom, why are you here all night?" ferdi asked without looking at his mother, his eyes still looking at his silent wife, unwilling to walk towards her.

"Brazed kid! His mother came and was asked like that" said Bu Anisa with a sharp look at Lani with a dislike look.

Lani smiles sweetly at Bu Anisa, but Lani's sweet smile is not warmly welcomed by Ms. Anisa. Ketus face Bu Anisa when she saw Lani say everything, saying her dislike to her.

Ferdi grabbed Love from Lani's sling and led her on her way to Velicia.

"Mother, Love hurts. Suddenly he was limp," said Ferdi trying to tell his wife about the state of Love, which had been considered like their own child.

Velicia felt her heart ache hearing Mother's words. It's not that she doesn't want to be called Mother for Love, their cat. But, she felt hurt when she heard Lani call herself the Mother of Love. Velicia felt that her place had been taken over by Lani.

"Mother, this is Love. Does Mother not want to carry it? Maybe he is sick because he misses Mother" said Ferdi while giving Love in front of Velicia.

Velicia smiled cynically. In his heart he laughed at Ferdi's remark saying that Love misses him.

"Isn't the Mother the woman's love?" velicia asked with a sinister smile.

At once Ferdi's eyes widened to hear a question from his wife. He did not think that his wife had heard when Lani called herself Mother to Love.

"He is the one who gave us Mother's Love" Ferdi replied with a gaze begging for understanding to Velicia.

Velicia smiled back cynically. He saw the circumstances surrounding which there were still nurses in that place.

Patience Ve, you should be able to hold back your emotions. Now that you just follow the plot, Velicia said in her heart.

"Ehemmm... how is Love?" velicia asked with a smile on her feet.

"He had the flu, now we're just waiting for the cure" Ferdi replied with a sweet smile to his wife.

Lani looks disappointed to see Ferdi and Velicia talking and smiling together. 

It did not escape the sight of Bu Anisa who still looks upset at him.

"Sir, don't you come home?" asked Bu Anisa to Lani with a ketus.

Instantly Lani turned to her side who already had Bu Anisa there. She saw the dislike from Bu Anisa's eyes on her.

With her sweet smile she approached Bu Anisa and intended to try to take her heart.

"Mom, how's Mom doing?" ask Lani by acting as sweet as possible to Miss Anisa.

"Mother? Who's Mother? I'm not your mother!" said Bu Anisa with a cynical look at Lani.
