Chapter 92 Restarting the journey

Raymond and Velicia's mood was excellent. They have an appointment to meet and return for a weekend trip.

Like a pair of teenage lovers who are very enthusiastic to meet, they both ignore everything on that day in order to be together.

“Honey, it's a holiday, why are you neat? Where are you going?” tania asked as she put down her coffee cup after drinking it.

“I have a camping event with children,” replied Raymond with a smile.

Raymond looked at his wife as he scrunched his forehead. Then he said,

“Gift?”

Tania smiled widely as she took out something she kept on the chair near her sitting at the moment and said,

“It. Look.”

Raymond received the map that his wife had proffered to him. He hesitated to open it, but his wife's hand opened the map that was already in his hand.

“I registered our marriage yesterday. And our marriage is officially registered now. So, don't expect for our farewell. Because it's never gonna happen. Understand?” tania said with a sweet smile to her husband.

The smile on Raymond's face disappeared. His hopes of immediately separating with his wife became more complicated now.

He blames himself for taking his wife to legalize their marriage because he is afraid to fall in love with Velicia.

And it turns out that fate says otherwise, Raymond and Velicia are always met in situations that make them both need each other.

“Where are you going, early in the morning are you tidy?” ask Ferdi who just came out of the room.

Velicia who was sitting on the dining chair made a sandwich, immediately turned her head towards her husband who was walking towards her. Then he said,

“Just want to visit a friend's house. His son really likes my sandwich.”

Ferdi scrunched his forehead. He was astonished at the reason given by his wife. The view of Ferdi can not be separated from the face of his wife who looks very happy, different from previous days.

“Why not just buy sandwiches at fast food restaurants or cafes around here, do many sell?” ferdi asked as he sat on the front dining chair of Velicia.

Instantly Velicia stopped her activities. He smiled awkwardly as he said,

“Iya true. Maybe his son would prefer my sandwich.”

“But he troubles others. You do not sell or take orders. Maybe he just asked for free on the grounds of his son who asked for it,” said Ferdi while his hand took a sandwich from a serving plate that already had several sandwiches.

Instantly Velicia stopped her activities. Then she looked at her husband and said,

“I never thought like that because I really like kids. Sorry if our minds are not the same.”

Ferdi misbehaved to hear from his wife. He forgot that his wife liked children very much, and they did not have a child because of his actions.

With her upset face, Velicia arranged a few sandwiches into the lunchbox and left only two slices of sandwich along with a slice of bread rim for her husband.

“I go first.”

“I deliver,” said Ferdi when his wife was wearing shoes without kissing her hand first.

“No need,” said Velicia with annoyance without turning to her husband.

While Velicia immediately left the house when Ferdi was confused because of the answer from his wife.

“Pak Guru, are we going to travel now?”

Suddenly there was a voice that shocked Raymond from behind him.

Raymond turned his head back and immediately his smile expanded to see that his beloved was already standing behind him.

“Ve, have you arrived?” raymond asked with a sweet smile and extended his hand to Velicia.

Velicia smiled as she accepted Raymond's helping hand. As usual, they wait for the bus to arrive at a bus stop not far from where they live. For them, buses are more comfortable than taxis. Because they can be more relaxed and can chat like a lover compared to riding a taxi that they feel is not free to talk because it will be heard by the driver.

Suddenly it rained again. They both looked at each other and smiled.

“It seems like rain is always connecting us,” Raymond said with a chuckle.

Velicia smiled widely and nodded her head in response to the words from Raymond. They are still waiting for the bus that will take them to their destination. Their jokes and laughter filled the time they spent waiting for the bus.

At home, Tania suddenly heard the sound of rain. He immediately got up from his seat and walked towards the window.

“It turns out it's really raining. Raymond must not have brought an umbrella. I better call him,” Tania said as she watched the rain through the window.

Then he walked towards the living room and picked up his cell phone lying on the table. She called her husband's mobile number, but only the voice of the operator told her to leave her message.

After that he called the number of the school where Raymond taught. And again the phone was just a missed call. Many times he called Raymond's number and the school number, but the result remained the same, he couldn't talk to anyone.

“I better get an umbrella to the school. Who knows they are still gathered in front of the class while waiting for the rain to subside,” Tania said as she looked towards the umbrella storage area near the door.

Tania turned off her television and retrieved the car keys that were in the lock storage. Then he picked up an umbrella and rushed to his car to deliver the umbrella to Raymond's school.

The bus that Raymond and Velicia were waiting for had already arrived. From the outside of the bus there were only a few people on board and it seemed like they were not familiar with Raymond and Velicia.

Raymond extended his hand at Velicia while smiling sweetly at her. And Velicia received Raymond's helping hand and returned Raymond's sweet smile to her.

They both got on the bus and sat in empty seats. With their hands together, they sat next to each other and smiled happily.

Not far from the bus stop, there are pairs of eyes that see the two of them when going into the bus. The sparkle of happiness was clearly on the faces of the two of them. Even their smiles hurt the person's heart.

Both of his eyes stared intently at the two of them, his jaws hardened, his chest moving up and down, his breathing was hunting and his hands were clenched looking at Raymond and Velicia who looked very happy even when they were already sitting in the bus.
