Chapter 28 Unplanned Coincidence

"Darling, I didn't send you today. I'll have other needs" Tania said as she put a tie on her husband's collar.

"Where are you going?" asked Raymond while looking at the face of his wife who was tidying up his tie after it was installed.

"You met a friend" Tania replied as she looked at her husband's face.

Raymond scrunched his forehead, as if he could not believe what his wife was saying. Then he asked,

"Do you have any friends here?" 

"There's dong. We just met yesterday and we immediately decided to make friends" Tania replied with a big smile.

"Women?" raymond asked as he looked at his wife's face curiously.

"Female dong. If you're jealous, then" Tania replied with a chuckle.

Raymond chuckled too. Then he said,

"Why should I be jealous? Can't men and women be friends?" 

"There will definitely be jealousy later," Tania replied as if she did not want to be denied.

"Yes, I don't fuck around. Beres right?" said Raymond with a smile.

Raymond walked to the dining table. Then Tania followed him while saying,

"Are you really not jealous baby if I'm friends with men?"

"Please. I'm sure you can manage your feelings" replied Raymond, who was sitting in the dining chair.

Tania looked at her husband's face, she felt if her husband didn't love her for not being jealous of her.

"Darling, you love me, right?" tania asked with an intense look in her husband's eyes, trying to find the answer from those eyes.

Raymond, who was rubbing almond butter on his bread, now his gaze turned to his wife who was in front of him.

"Why are we married?" raymond smiled at his wife.

Tania smiled happily at Raymond's reply. She was relieved to hear the answer from her husband despite the question back to her. Because she knew, from a long time ago her husband never said love or love to her.

"Here's the coffee, drink it. I brought her from Brazil last month specifically for you" Tania said, giving her a cup of coffee she had made.

Raymond also drank coffee made by his wife who he said came from Brazil.

"Hows it? Yummy right?" tania asked enthusiastically and both of her hands propped up her chin.

Raymond smiled and nodded his head. Then he looked at the clock on his right hand.

"I have to go now. You be careful, yes" said Raymond as he moved from his seat.

Tania nodded and immediately moved closer to Raymond's face.

Raymond's forehead frowned, he did not know the meaning of his wife like that.

Looking at Raymond's expression like that, Tania pointed at his cheek and said,

"Kiss."

Raymond smiled at his wife. Then she kissed Tania's cheek before she left Tania in the house alone.

"Be careful and go home quickly, huh..," exclaimed Tania as she waved her hand accompanying her husband's departure.

Raymond smiled and nodded his head and returned the wave of his wife's hand.

On the road to his workplace, Raymond saw a stranger in his sight.

He stopped to make sure the person he saw. And his lips smiled when the person he saw was definitely the person he knew.

However, a few seconds later his face changed anxiously when he saw the person grimacing withstanding the pain and holding onto his stomach.

"Ve!" raymond exclaimed when he saw Velicia squatting down by holding her stomach.

Raymond immediately ran over to Velicia and stood right before the crouching Velicia.

Velicia saw a pair of shoes in front of her. He looked up to find out the owner of the shoe.

Raymond's face looked anxious when he saw Velicia's sweaty pale face and tears flooding her cheeks.

"Ve, what's wrong with you?" raymond asked while crouching before Velicia.

"My stomach hurts so much Ray," Velicia replied softly by enduring the pain.

"Let's go help you to the hospital" Raymond said as he helped Velicia stand up.

Velicia stood aided by Raymond's two hands. But unfortunately his head seemed to swirl and his body was so weak that it could not support its own body.

"Ve! Velicia! Ve! Be aware!" raymond exclaimed when he found Velicia unconscious in his arms.

It was fortunate that Raymond's two hands helped him to stand up so that when Velicia fainted, Raymond's hands were already there to catch her body.

Raymond immediately carried Velicia ala bridal style walking in search of a taxi to take her to the hospital.

Unfortunately that morning the traffic was very heavy due to the rush hour which of course almost all public vehicles were full of passengers. No exception to taxi. 

He did not find any taxis in the area. In a panic, Raymond continued to walk with Velicia to the clinic at that time.

Raymond's plan is to take Velicia to a bigger hospital because he thinks it's more complete equipment and his medical team. Unfortunately, no taxi can take them.

The distance, the length of the journey and the weight of Velicia's body were no longer felt. Raymond kept trying his hardest so he could quickly get to his destination clinic.

"Doctor, help him quickly. Suddenly he fainted. Looks like he's got a pain in his stomach" Raymond told the doctor who was chatting with the nurse at the reception desk.

"Hurry up and get there" the doctor said, pointing to the examination room.

Raymond immediately took her into the treatment room and placed her on the examination bed.

"Please come out first sir, let us check first" said the nurse who helped the doctor examine Velicia.

Raymond came out of the room, but his gaze still did not want to be distracted from Velicia who was still unconscious.

A few moments later the doctor came out of the examination room to see Raymond.

"Sorry sir, it looks like the patient should be treated immediately. This time we will not allow him to go home before things improve" the doctor told Raymond.

Raymond looked at Velicia who was lying limp with a very pale face once unconscious.

"Is it so bad, Doc?" raymond asked with a face full of anxiety.

"The stomach and stomach acid is chronic sir, if not treated properly will be dangerous" said the doctor firmly.

"Alright sir, just do your best for him" Raymond said steadily agreeing to the doctor's advice.

The doctor nodded his head. Then he said,

"I'm sorry sir, please take care of the transfer of his room" said the doctor before leaving Raymond.

However, just one step he took, the doctor turned his head and said,

"Sorry sir, if you may know, what food or drink was consumed by the patient before he fainted?" 

Raymond was stunned to see the question from the doctor. She wasn't at home with Velicia, obviously she didn't know what Velicia was eating or drinking this morning before she left for work.

 "I'm sorry sir I don't know" Raymond replied hesitantly.

The doctor nodded his head. Then he said,

"We should just do a blood test sir to know the cause of the patient so that it is like this."

Raymond let out a sigh, he looked towards Velicia and strangely he felt what Velicia was feeling. The sadness and pain within him.

"Please do your best for her, doc" Raymond said expectantly to the doctor.

Drrt.. drrttt…

The phone in Raymond's pocket vibrated. He immediately took his phone and saw it.

"Great, I'm late for school" Raymond said as he looked at the number from the school's office.
