Chapter 31 Between the two choices

"I'm thirsty, do I have to ask the nurse for help? I should've asked Raymond for help before I told him to come home. Ah... stupid me..," said Velicia softly while exhaling her breath.

Velicia hesitates between asking the nurse for help or waiting for her husband.

However, moments later came someone who suddenly entered into Velicia's room.

The door of the room opened, revealing the figure of a man whom Velicia was looking forward to.

"Mas... just got home?" greet Velicia to the person.

Ferdi was seen entering the room with his briefcase in his right hand and his left hand carrying a black plastic bag.

"I came straight here after coming home from work" Ferdi replied as he sat on the sofa in the room.

There was a sense of disappointment in Velicia's heart when Ferdi did not approach her first. She was disappointed to see her husband sitting on the sofa without approaching her to look and ask her how he was doing.

"What is Mas?" velicia asked as she pointed at the black plastic bag that Ferdi had brought into the room.

"Food. I haven't eaten since. I bought it on my way here. Lazy if you have to go out again to buy food," said Ferdi while removing his tie and rolling his arm limited to the elbow.

"Emmm... Did Ferdi buy a drink?" velicia asked carefully.

Ferdi took something from the black plastic bag he was carrying earlier. He showed the item while saying,

"She, this."

It turned out that Ferdi was taking out a six hundred milliliters bottle of bottled mineral water.

Velicia sighed at the bottle. In his heart he said,

Why are you not sensitive anyway? Is it because you never thought of me? Where is it possible to bring drinks for inpatients only bottles that small Mas? What can I expect from him. 

"Why? Do you want to?" ferdi asked when he saw the look of disappointment from his wife's face.

"Yes, I was thirsty. Want to ask the nurse to get me a drink, I'll say something" Velicia replied with a bitter smile.

Ferdi sighed, he was very familiar with his wife. His wife was very kind. He will never hurt another person and will always hesitate to ask others for help.

"That means you haven't got any food?" ask Ferdi again to investigate.

Velicia shook her head without answering through words.

Ferdi immediately approached his wife and gave the bottle of the drink, saying,

"Here, drink. Next time you have to ask the nurse for help. This is also a facility of this clinic. You also get food and drinks if you are inpatient in this place," said Ferdi while opening the lid of the mineral water bottle.

Velicia smiled and received the drinking bottle while saying,

"Thank you."

"I want to eat. Do you want to eat too?" ferdi asked Velicia who was drinking.

Velicia nodded as a sign of agreement. But Ferdi seemed to be sighing..

"I only bought one pack. Because I thought if you get food from this place," Ferdi said as he looked around Velicia's room.

"Mother, why are you asking for such a spacious and luxurious room? Didn't Mommy think about the cost?" asked Ferdi while looking directly at his wife's bead eyes.

Why are you asking about this room? You should have asked me about my situation first, Velicia said in her heart.

"Ehmmm I don't know. Maybe the one who helped me booked this place for me," Velicia replied softly.

"Do we need to move in a normal room?" ferdi asked back as if persuading Velicia.

Got a husband calculation once though with his wife. Especially about his wife's health. 

"No need to. I'm afraid the person who booked this room will be offended later if I move to another room" Velicia said very carefully.

"Why are you more concerned with other people's feelings than your own," asked Ferdi who was already upset with his wife for not wanting to obey him.

"Let it be. The guy's good" said Velicia to stop her husband.

"Yes, it's up to you" said Ferdi with his rent.

Velicia sighed. He just didn't want Raymond to be disappointed in him. So he didn't want to move out of Raymon's room of choice.

"I want to eat, do you want to eat? Unfortunately, I only bought one pack. Do you want to?" ferdi asked as he showed the rice packet he had taken from the black plastic bag he had brought earlier.

"It's more fun if we eat a pack of Mas together" Velicia replied with a smile on Fardi.

"Well, we better eat now. I was so hungry" Ferdi said, opening the package and taking the spoon.

"Well, time' Are you in a room like this not getting food and drinks?" asked Ferdi while scooping his food.

Velicia scrunched her forehead, in her heart she said,

Why are you telling me to eat by myself using your spoon Mas? You should've bribed me.

I would love for Velicia to say such a thing. But it could only be said in his heart.

Velicia just silently responded to the questions and chatter from her husband. 

"You why? You don't like the side dishes?" ferdi asked with a look at their rice and took turns looking at Velicia.

"I like Mas. Really like. It's just, it's better that Mas Ferdi bribes me, because it's faster that Mas Ferdi turns to bribe me and feed Mas himself," Velicia said with a shy smile.

"Alright," said Ferdi agreeing to his proposal.

Ferdi's goal was to agree to his wife's wishes not just because he wanted to, it's just that he wanted to eat fast. His stomach had been very hungry ever since he had bought his food.

Just twice a bribe, there was an officer who handed over the ration of rice and drinks belonging to Velicia.

Velicia also switched to eating the food she got from the clinic. They both ate their food in silence. 

After they had eaten with Velicia, they told Ferdi to buy a large mineral water bottle.

"Mas, please buy me a large bottle of mineral water" Velicia told Ferdi.

Actually, Fedi was very lazy to go out, only he felt sorry to see his wife who had not been drinking after eating earlier.

"Yes, I went out first to buy a drink for you" Ferdi said as he checked his wallet and mobile phone.

After that he came out of Velicia's room to buy mineral water for his wife.

Drrr…. Drrtts…

Raymond's phone vibration made him nervous. He was afraid if there was anything with Velicia.

His eyes squinted and his forehead shriveled when he saw the name of the caller on the phone.

He immediately picked up the phone because he was disturbed by the vibration.

Hello, sir, help me. I was in an accident when I was going to the hospital to check. Can you come here now? I'm so scared, sir.
