Chapter 65 Rejection

Raymond came home lethargic after Velicia went home first. He carried Velicia's folding umbrella which he placed in his bag.

"New home? How's show?" 

Raymond was stunned, when he just opened the door of his house was already greeted with some questions from his wife.

Tania smiled sweetly as she walked over to her husband. She hugged her husband tightly while saying,

"Dear, I miss you so much."

Raymond was just silent like a statue being hugged by someone. Tania felt it, she further tightened her embrace so that her husband would return his embrace.

"Didn't you miss me, honey?" tanya Tania investigated while raising her head to look at her husband's face.

Raymond smiled forcefully as he nodded his head. Then his hand tried to return his wife's embrace, but his hand felt reluctant to touch her body.

He forced his hand to return his wife's embrace. As it turned out, Raymond's hands just moved stiffly patting his wife's back.

Tania unraveled her embrace. Then he said, 

"Darling, we're doing this tonight so we can have kids soon."

"Ehmmm.I'm tired now" said Raymond, smiling stiffly.

Tania's sweet smile instantly disappeared. She felt something strange about her husband.

"Why are you, honey? From the beginning I was in this house I felt like a guest to you," Tania said with annoyance and her voice raised.

"Not so, I'm just used to being alone without you here. I'm sorry," said Raymond, what he really felt.

"You should get used to my presence even though I rarely stay here, because I'm your wife" Tania said with great annoyance.

Raymond smiled and nodded his head while saying,

"All right."

"In exchange, tomorrow we will go somewhere and you are forbidden to protest" Tania said, walking away from Raymond so that her husband would not have a chance to turn her down.

Raymond could only open his mouth without being able to say what he was about to say. He could only look at the back of his walking wife leaving her to enter first into his room.

Raymond's sigh made him look very objected to his wife's plans. Unfortunately he can't do anything.

He felt that he was not his own. Ever since she married Tania, Raymond has belonged to the Tania family. Whatever Tania and her parents told her, she could not resist.

With heavy footsteps Raymond entered into his study. He put the bag he brought earlier on his work desk in his study.

Then he went into the bathroom in his room.

"Honey, I'll get her clothes ready, yeah" Tania exclaimed from the bathroom door.

Raymond turned off the water from his shower. Then he opened the bathroom door a little, only a few centimeters so that he was not visible from the outside. Then he said,

"Thank you."

Then she closed the door and turned the shower back on.

Tania fell silent. She was awkward with the thanks Raymond always gave her.

The words of gratitude felt stiff and too formal for him. Until she really wasn't like Raymond's wife. She was like a man respected by her own husband.

After Tania prepared the clothes for her husband, she immediately walked out of the room towards her husband's study.

She wanted to find out what her husband was doing all day. She opened the bag that her husband had brought.

His eyes squinted when he found a pink folding umbrella in the bag.

"Who's this? It can't be Raymond's" Tania said, watching the umbrella she was holding.

The door opened and Raymond entered his study.

Instantly he was surprised to find his wife who was now in his study.

"Darling, we haven't done that in a long time. I want it now" Tania said as she hugged her husband from behind.

Tania's hands were tightly coiled around Raymond's waist. From behind Raymond's body, Tania tried to evoke the sense that made her husband want her.

Unfortunately Tania's efforts were in vain. Raymond removed Tania's hand from her waist. And he was facing his wife.

"I'm really tired today. I'm sorry, yes" said Raymond gently.

"Why can you change like this? Didn't you yesterday want to register our marriage? You want us to have children soon, right? But now…."

Tania could not continue her words. Her voice rose in tandem with her emotions as she recalled the umbrella she found in her husband's bag.

Raymond hugged his wife's body doubtfully and stiffly. He is well aware now of his feelings. 

The stiff hug was only for a moment, after which Raymond let go and looked into his wife's eyes as he said,

"Sorry."

Tania smiled wryly at her husband's apology with her eyes that were truly showing regret.

Now what Tania had in mind was, her husband was really sorry for making her disappointed or for actually doing something in accordance with Tania's suspicions to her husband?

Just wait, Ray, I'll figure it all out. And you will regret it later if you really do that, Tania said in her heart.

"Honey, let's go to sleep now," Tania said spoiledly as she pulled her husband's arm.

Raymond stayed where he is today. She did not move a bit from her place, so Tania felt a rejection from her husband.

"Why? He said you were tired? Let's go to sleep now" Tania said with an intense look at her husband's bead eyes.

"Ehmmm. I'll finish my job first. You better go to bed first. Once my work is done, I'll follow you to the room" Raymond said, opening several books on his desk.

Tania looked at her husband with a suspicious look. But she felt useless and wasted her time because her husband was now more fun with her books.

Without saying a word, Tania left her husband who was still inside her study.

Raymond stared at his wife's departure with a guilty look. He did feel guilty for his wife, but he could not lie to his own feelings.

I'm sorry Tania. All this time I've been trying to love you, but that feeling of love doesn't grow. All this time I've sacrificed a lot of myself to comply with all your wishes and your family. Now that I want to escape from your shadows, Raymond said in his heart while looking towards the door that his wife had just passed.

Inside her room, Tania walked back and forth while thinking about what she suspected from her husband.

For a few minutes, Raymond did not go into his room. And it made Tania want to catch up with her husband to immediately sleep with him.

"Darling, why so long? I've been waiting for you since then" Tania said as she wrapped her hands around her husband's shoulders.

"I'm still not finished, you better sleep first sa-"

Raymond's words were not finished, even now his eyes were wide when he found Tania sitting on his lap.

Tania's hand quickly took off her pajama button to show the lingerie she was wearing.

"Tania, sorry. I'm gonna finish this first. You better go to bed first" said Raymond, moving Tania from her lap so that Tania was standing next to him.

Tania's eyes widened in shock at Raymond's increasingly obvious attitude.

Tania folded her hands in front of her chest and her eyes squinted at her husband filled with suspicion as she said,

"Why? Why are you rejecting me? Do you have another woman?"
