Chapter 53 The Tranquility of Ferdi's heart

Velicia's eyes opened slowly. He felt that his waist was very heavy. Seen towards her waist, there was a burly hand that she believed belonged to her husband.

Slowly the hand was released by Velicia. With great care she was able to break free from her husband's hand that was coiled around her waist.

Soon he got up and walked to his room to clean himself up and get ready to go to work.

After she prepared, she prepared her husband's clothes as usual. Then she turned to the kitchen to prepare her breakfast.

Slowly Ferdi's eyes opened. After a few seconds, his consciousness returned. Soon she got out of bed to get out of the room.

After exiting the room, her hand rubbed her chest, a relieved expression visible on her face after seeing Velicia juicing in the kitchen.

Soon she went into her room to clean herself up. He smiled with relief at the clothes his wife had prepared as usual.

It seems Ve is no longer angry with me. I should be able to melt his heart back, Ferdi said in his heart while wearing his clothes.

Rushed him out of his room hoping that his wife still had not left for work. 

Ferdi smiled sweetly at Velicia when she was already in front of him. While Velicia was only flat-faced while pouring her homemade juice into two glasses.

"Mother, make an appointment with our doctor. Tell him I'm ready to do it" said Ferdi, looking at Velicia and smiling at her.

Just contact Velicia who was drinking her juice while looking at the screen of her phone turned her eyes to her husband who was sitting in front of her.

"I'm serious Honey" said Ferdi, smiling at Velicia.

Okay, maybe this is the best. Perhaps God gave this path to our household, Velicia said in her heart.

Velicia returned her husband's smile. She nodded her head in approval to the request from her husband.

"We're going together, right?" ferdi asked after drinking the juice made by Velicia.

"Finish the meal first. And here I make sandwiches and coffee as usual" said Velicia, showing her the bag she had prepared for her husband.

Ferdi smiled and nodded his head. He ate a sandwich made by Velicia while looking at her face. She was relieved that Velicia now looked like she used to be, attentive and did not say cynically or in high pitched to her.

After their breakfast was over, as promised, Ferdi took his wife to work.

"Sandwich is coffee, don't forget. That's your favorite sandwich, don't forget to eat it. The coffee also should not forget to drink," Velicia said before getting out of the car.

"Yes. You be careful yeah. Tomorrow I'll take a day off. We're going to the hospital tomorrow" Ferdi said, smiling at his wife.

Velicia smiled and nodded her head. Then he kissed the back of Ferdi's hand before he closed the door.

Well, it seems like I have to forgive Mas Ferdi and restart our household, Velicia said in her heart every step of the way to her workplace.

"Mother Ve…."

"Mother…."

"Mother is healthy?" 

Some of Velicia's students greeted Velicia by running and shouting to call her and ask about her health.

Velicia crouched down and opened her arms wide with a smile welcoming some of her students who were running towards her.

"Thanks to all of you Mother's prayers are fine" Velicia said with a smile hugging all those who jostled into Velicia's arms.

After that Velicia went inside the teacher's office and met with all of her colleagues. They all asked Velicia.

Only Rani and Vira looked questioningly at Velicia. The gazes of the two of them were as if asking about Velicia's state after hearing the fact from inside the doctor's office at that moment.

Velicia smiled at Rani and Vira. Then he said,

As Rani and Vira turned to each other, they chuckled together at Velicia's words. The two of them did not expect that Velicia knew the meaning of the gaze of the two of them.

Arriving at his office, Ferdi had a happy face. I don't know why he felt like he was the first time he got married. Velicia's attitude this morning made her remember the happiness of the two of them at the beginning of their marriage. And it makes Ferdi's heart happy again.

"It's very nice that it looks like sir," said Lani welcomed Ferdi's arrival.

Ferdi smiled as if confirming what Lani had said to him.

"Win the lottery, sir?" lani asked with a smile teasing Ferdi.

Ferdi turned towards Lani while chuckling. Then he said,

"Not that. I'm just happy because of my wife" Ferdi replied as he turned on the computer screen in front of him.

Lani's face became irritated. He was disappointed that Ferdi was proud of his wife in front of him. She is jealous because Velicia is too perfect to be a woman and become a wife according to Lani.

With a sense of regret, Lani sat back to his place. Then he picked up his phone and typed something in there.

Notification of the message heard from Ferdi's phone. 

Immediately Ferdi saw her and he looked towards Lani who was smiling at him while her hands were demonstrating a drink.

Ferdi's eyes turned to look at his desk. It turns out there is a glass of coffee made by the cafe that is still hot on his desk and was not seen by him.

The coffee was given by Lani. In his message, Lani said that Ferdi's favorite coffee was a gift from him, and he told Ferdi to drink it.

Now Ferdi is upset only because of coffee. He had been made coffee by his wife and also had given Lani coffee that was very tempting to his heart.

The coffee made by the famous cafe makes Ferdi look tempted. And finally he prefers the coffee given from Lani rather than drinking the coffee that has been made by his wife.

Ferdi no longer remembered if his wife would be disappointed if his coffee was not drunk because Velicia was no longer angry with him.

Lani, who saw Ferdi drinking the coffee, was happy. He said in his heart,

At least he drank my coffee. And I'll give him that coffee every day.

Unknowingly, Ferdi again gives hope to Lani. Now Lani's face is not upset and sad anymore. His sad face had changed with his cheerful face.

At lunch, Lani approaches Ferdi again. He tried to take Ferdi to lunch together like that time.

"Sir, we have lunch together. I want to eat together with you" said Lani with a face full of hope accompanied by her puppy eyes.

Ferdi remembered his wife's sandwich. Actually he also wanted to eat lunch using rice because he had eaten a sandwich earlier.

But he was afraid that his wife would be angry with him. He thought for a moment until he found his way out.

"Do you want sandwiches?" ask Ferdi to a group of employees who are still working on their jobs.

"Well, we want sir. Is Mr Ferdi going to buy us a sandwich?" ask one of them.

Ferdi smiled at them. Then he grabbed his bag and opened the food box.

"Here, eat," Ferdi told them as he thrust his box in front of them all.

"Well, it looks good sir. Don't you want to eat it?" ask one of them.

"You eat all. I want to eat rice for the afternoon" Ferdi replied as he walked out of his office.

Of course Lani is very happy because Ferdi is willing to accept his invitation.

Yup! After this I am sure Mr. Ferdi will glance at me, Inner Lani while smiling happily following Ferdi who is walking out of their workroom.
