Chapter 4 Unexpected meeting

Velicia walked into the not-so-crowded street food tent stall hoping that there would be an empty table for her to eat there.

However, when he had entered the tent stall, it turned out that in it all the tables were filled. There were only a few empty seats on the table that were already occupied by the person who was enjoying the meal.

"Huffttt is full. Do I have to move to another shop? Or buy it wrapped, eat it at home?" Velicia had a smooth monologue with a disappointed look.

"Ve! Velicia! You're Velicia, right?" 

There was a voice calling out the name Velicia. And Velicia who felt called immediately circulated her gaze to look for the figure of the person who called out to her.

Velicia's eyes widened when she saw a man waving his hand to call her.

"Ray?!" Velicia chirps when she sees Raymond waving at her.

"here! Sit down here. I'm alone" said Raymond without making a sound, he just moved his mouth as he said.

Velicia slightly understood what Raymond said. Unfortunately there was a part that he did not understand from Raymond's words.

Approach Velicia to Raymond's desk to ask what she said just now. Because all Velicia could understand was that Raymond told her to get close to him.

"What's Ray?" asked Velicia who was already near Raymond.

"Hi Ve, you want to eat?" raymond asked, drinking the orange ice on his desk.

"I was going to eat, but there was no empty place. It looks like I just wrapped up the food," replied Velicia who was still in a standing position next to Raymond's table.

"Sit here Ve. I'll treat it as my thanks because you showed me the address I was looking for at that time" Raymond said with a sweet smile to Velicia.

"Mmm. but...," Velicia's words could not continue, she hesitated to say what was on her mind.

"Are you coming with someone else?" asked Raymond to look.

"No. I came alone," Velicia replied quickly.

"If we were the same, I also came alone. Sit down, I'll order some food for you. And don't refuse this treaty of mine, because it's my thanks for that moment" Raymond said with a sweet smile.

Raymond's sweet smile was so dazzling, that Velicia was made to not dwell on him.

"This is the order. Please eat," said the shop owner when handing over the food ordered by Raymond.

"thank you. Mas, add another one like this yes for this Mbak, the same drink as well," said Raymond when receiving his food.

"Okay Mas, wait a minute, yes" said the owner of the stall.

Raymond nodded his head at the man. Then he went back to talking to Velicia.

Their conversation halted when Velicia's food came. And they talked again until they did not feel their food was finished.

"Ray, thank you for buying me a meal. Let me treat you next time" said Velicia as they walked out of the tent shop five feet earlier.

"Not to mention Ve. I told you that it was my thanks for that time. And I'm glad to see you because it turns out our conversation can connect. I didn't think we could have a conversation like this" Raymond said, giving a candy he took out of his pants pocket and gave to Velicia.

Velicia wrinkled her forehead, she did not know with the intent of Raymond's candy pat on her.

"For you. Eat, " said Raymond, putting the candy in Velicia's hand.

"Thank you," Velicia said as she showed me the candy she was holding.

Raymond smiled and nodded his head. He also took a packet of candy from inside his pants pocket. Then he opened it and put it in his mouth.

Velicia did the same thing, she opened the candy wrapper, then she ate the candy and kept the candy wrapper in her pants pocket.

The two of them walked down the road to their house slowly and talked about many things.

It doesn't feel like their conversation has to end. Now they had arrived in front of Velicia's house. Raymond had to walk for a while to get to his house.

On his way to his house, Raymond smiled to himself remembering his chatter along with Velicia. I don't know why they could be that good when they just met and met.

Same with Velicia. He was very happy to talk to Raymond. Although they had just gotten to know, but they could be so familiar, that it made Velicia become reminded of him.

"Where is it? How long? Where's food?" asked Ferdi who was watching television while holding Lili.

Velicia sighed, she was reluctant to answer the question from her husband because she saw Lili who was in his lap.

It should be me that he pampered. It should have been me in her lap, not the cat, Velicia grumbled in her heart.

"Mother, how quiet is that? Where's food?" ferdi asked as he looked at his wife questioningly.

"I ate there. After that I was starving, waiting for people to come home and it turned out that the wait had even eaten first," replied Velicia intending to insinuate her husband.

"Mother! I don't know if you want to take me out to eat. Anyway, if you know for sure we'll be scolded. You know if we're forbidden to buy food out there. Mother told you to cook for yourself to be healthier" exclaimed Ferdi in response to insinuations from Velicia, his own wife.

"I'm healthy, very healthy. Every day I have to take herbal medicine given by your mother. You also have to drink it, so that you can know what my sacrifice is like, which every day must drink it," Velicia said as she opposed it.

Ferdi felt hurt, he got up from his seat and walked away from the still-flaming television to his room.

The door of the room was closed very hard as if likening the magnitude of Ferdi's current fury.

Velicia sighed in annoyance. Just now he was happy because by chance he met Raymond and it turned out that their meeting and chat was very memorable.

Now his happiness was not only faded, it had even disappeared due to Ferdi's words were very unpleasant to him.

"It feels so hot. I have to drink cold water. My throat feels dry" Velicia said as she walked towards the fridge. 

In the fridge, she meets a few bottles of herbal drink that Ferdi's mother gives her, hoping that Velicia and Ferdi will soon find offspring.

"Boss I drank this herbal drink. Did I throw it away? No one knows" Velicia said, taking out a few bottles of the herbal drink and intending to throw them away.

When he crouched down in front of the fridge, there was something stuck in his pants pocket. He stood back up and reached into his pants pocket.

Got his cell phone out of his pants pocket. And there was an object that fell when the phone pulled him out of his pants pocket.

He saw the dropped object and immediately retrieved it from the floor. His lips curved upwards when he saw the candy wrapper that Raymond had given him.

"So cute," said Velicia read the writing on the candy wrapper.
