Chapter 47 Surprise for Velicia

Ferdi felt anxious when he saw his wife was not in his room. His eyes combed through his room to look for his wife.

He rushed out of his room to find his wife.

Her steps came to a halt when she saw Velicia was tidy and sat down on the chair that was in the dining room to wait for her.

"Ve, are you neat? Where are you going?" ferdi asked as he walked towards Velicia's place.

Meow..meow…

Lili circled Ferdi's legs as if stopping him and preventing him from walking.

Ferdi who was very fond of Lili immediately stopped to wipe the feathers of Lili and spoil her. 

It was seen Ferdi who loved Lili so much that he forgot his intention to approach his wife who had been looking for her.

Velicia smiled bitterly at her husband who cared more about his cat than his wife.

Even the question she asked Velicia had not been answered and she forgot about it because she was cool with Lili, her pet cat.

"Mas, let's have breakfast. Didn't Mas Ferdi have to leave early lately?" velicia said as she smeared the fresh bread she held with chocolate jam and beans for Ferdi.

Ferdi did not respond to Velicia's remarks. He played with Lili.

"Mas, I've prepared breakfast. Come quickly eaten," Velicia exclaimed with a slight annoyance.

"Has Lili been given milk for kitten? What food and vitamins have you been given?" ferdi asked without looking at Velicia, he was more fun rubbing Lili's fur.

Velicia let out her sigh hearing her question not answered by her husband. To make matters worse, her husband asked Velicia about her cat's needs.

"Wouldn't that be your cat Mas, you should also take care of him," said Velicia Lirih.

Ferdi slightly heard Velicia's words. Then he said,

"You are the Mother. So we have to take care of her."

Just contact Velicia's eyes widened perfectly. She strongly objected to being said to be the Mother of Lili. Because she wants to have her own child.

"Mas, didn't I tell you that I would mind being called Mother to Lili. I want to be called Mother for my children Mas, my own baby, man not animal."

Get out of all the rage Velicia has been holding since Ferdi brought Lili into their home.

Velicia's chest went up and down saying all her anger. Even her irregular breathing said all that to her husband.

"Iya Ve I know. Ii'm sorry. Pity Lili if not taken care of properly. Especially if he is a child. We have to take good care of him" Ferdi said with a warm tone to Velicia as he looked at his wife who was staring angrily at him.

Velicia smiled cynically at her husband. Then he said,

"We? When did Mas Ferdi ever change the sand and remove the filth Lili? When did Mas Ferdi ever wash his food, feed and drink and milk and vitamins regularly? Isn't it just me I told you to take care of it?" 

Rebut only Ferdi embarrassed of his own words that really have been reversed by the fact by his wife. He felt like he was embarrassing himself.

Immediately he walked towards the dining table and when it was about to sit down, Velicia immediately stopped him.

"Wash your hands first!" velicia said with a commanding tone.

No objection from Ferdi. He obeyed his wife's orders because he didn't want her to be angry with him anymore.

Immediately he walked towards the sink and washed his hands. After that he sat back on the chair he usually sat on at the time of eating.

Already presented some chocolate jam bread and beans in front of Ferdi. Without saying, he ate the bread until it was finished. After that he drank his wife's juice until it ran out.

Ferdi also received a tumbler containing coffee made by his wife. Then he said,

"Where are you going to get neat?" 

"I want to work. Free at home, I was even sad to think about my fate," Velicia replied with a bitter smile.

Ferdi sighed hearing the answer from his wife. He felt insinuated because of the many mistakes he realized yesterday.

"But the doctor will tell you to rest Ve until your condition is completely restored" said Ferdi who tried to keep his wife at home to rest even longer.

"I've been better, Mas. And I miss the kids at school" said Velicia with a bitter smile remembering her longing for her students, not for her biological children she couldn't have.

Ferdi again felt insinuated by what his wife said. Then he said,

"Yes, I'll take you to school. But you have to promise, if your body is not strong, you have to rest or ask permission to go home."

Velicia smiled bitterly at what her husband said. The narration from Ferdi is now laughed at by Velicia because she feels funny if she hears Ferdi worrying about his wife.

If you used to say that, I would have said it. But now, it seems like I have to rethink so that I don't get back fooled by you, Velicia said in her heart.

"Let's go" said Ferdi as he moved from his seat.

Velicia sighed seeing Ferdi leaving his coffee tumbler on the table. 

"You left him on purpose or left him behind?" velicia said softly while carrying the coffee tumbler.

Velicia locked the door with Ferdi's bag and coffee tumbler. 

Even seeing Velicia in such a fuss Ferdi did not help her. He sat in his car to get ready to drive.

Velicia walked towards the car with a flat face holding back her disappointment and resentment towards her husband.

"Come on Ve, come on in" said Ferdi from inside his car as he looked at Velicia who was outside the car with the window glass that had been opened.

Velicia opened the car door and entered it, she sat in the front seat, more precisely next to Ferdi who was preparing to drive his car.

When his feet moved, he felt like he was stepping on something. Then his hand tried to reach the object near his feet.

Ferdi who was driving his car was still focused on the road in front of him.

He felt something was wrong with his wife, then he glanced at his wife who was moving like she was uncomfortable with her sitting.

"Why Ve?" ferdi asked without looking at Velicia.

"My bullet fell," replied Velicia of origin in order not to be suspected by her husband.

Ferdi just nodded his head without making a sound response to the answer from his wife.

Velicia's eyes widened, her breathing was irregular and her chest went up and down looking at the thing she found under the chair she was sitting on.

Velicia firmly gripped the object to hold back her emotions. And immediately put in her bag these objects so as not to be known by her husband.

"Yesterday, did you sit in this chair?" velicia asked in a slightly quivering voice even though her emotions were already suppressed with all her might.

"Well, why Ve?" asked Ferdi while focusing on the road in front of him.

"Is there anyone else sitting here except me and Mom?"
