Chapter 63 About Ferdi

"Sir, we'll just walk" Lani said when she saw Ferdi open the car door.

Ferdi turned his head towards Lani, then he said,

"Are you not tired?"

"Ehmmm. It's better to walk sir, more romantic than to ride in a car" Lani replied as she walked closer to Ferdi and wrapped her arms around Ferdi's.

Ferdi smiled at Lani's words. Without saying a word he obeyed Lani by walking together towards the place where they would come to eat.

Along the way, Lani's hand rested spoiled on Ferdi's arm. While chattering about many things, Lani managed to make Ferdi laugh.

They both look like a very happy couple. Walk along side by side and joke along the way.

Until Ferdi remembered something when he was still walking with Lani who was still active with his chatter.

I used to be like this with Velicia. But, it felt like it was a long time ago, Ferdi said in his heart.

Suddenly he remembered a few days ago that he had let down his wife who was already preparing to wear her clothes to take him out to eat. And he let his wife buy her own food at night on foot.

Ah.. wickedly me. Why did I tell him to buy his own food on foot? And now, I happily drove Lani to buy food, even I offered her to deliver it by car. It's only fitting that Velicia has been angry with me lately. Is he disappointed in me? 

Again Ferdi said in his heart. He asked his stupidity in his own heart.

"Sir, Sir. Mr. Ferdi. You didn't hear everything I said, did you?" lani asked as she moved Ferdi's arm she was holding.

Suddenly Ferdi awoke from his daydream. He is misbehaved when Lani asks him about what he was talking about during Ferdi's daydreaming earlier.

"We just eat there," said Ferdi, pointing to the food court not far from where it is today.

Lani also had a face upset because Ferdi deliberately switched the conversation and did not listen to what he had been talking about.

After that they ate the food they had ordered. As before, Lani did not give up, she kept trying to get Ferdi to talk to her about anything and she also tried to make Ferdi smile and laugh at her jokes.

Lani's efforts succeeded. Ferdi forgot his guilt towards Velicia. He laughed with Lani. Even he could not resist Lani who always wrestled her arm with her pot.

Arriving at home, Ferdi intends to get a drink for Lani by telling her to sit on the porch chair.

However, as always, Lani cannot be banned. He followed Ferdi into his house.

"Love.Love." Ferdi called his cat as he walked into his house.

"Meow..," came the soft voice of Love that meowed very weakly.

"Love...Love...Why are you?" asked Ferdi while holding the body of Love who is weak and does not move actively as usual.

"Sir, we better get him to the veterinary clinic before things get worse."

Suddenly, Lani's voice approached them.

Without saying anything, Ferdi immediately carried Love and took her out of the house.

"Wait sir, let me carry Love. You just lock the door to his house" said Lani who stopped Ferdi by being in front of him.

Without thinking, Ferdi handed Love to Lani. Then he locked the door and rushed into his car.

Lani sat in the front seat, next to Ferdi who was driving her car. The car was driven Ferdi quickly so that Love immediately get help.

Arriving in front of a nearby animal clinic from his home, Ferdi stopped his car.

Immediately Ferdi walked around to open Lani's car door. The two of them rushed into the veterinary clinic.

"Dok, help my cat. When I got home, I found him drowned" said Ferdi worriedly.

Ferdi nodded his head. He waits in the waiting room and the doctor takes Love to the examination room.

There was clearly anxiety on Ferdi's face. Lani immediately approached Ferdi and gave her sweet smile and rubbed her back to calm him down.

Velicia walked unhappily towards her house. His current feelings cannot be explained anymore. He could only feel it and regret his fate. He felt that fate had played him this time.

"Ve, just got you home?" 

Velicia was struck by a familiar voice in her listener's senses.

"Mother?! Why is Mom outside? Why don't you just go in, there's Mas Ferdi in the Mom," Velicia said nervously in shock at her mother-in-law's presence.

"Why did you just come home? Where have you been?" bu Anisa asked Velicia with a probing look.

"I came home from a school reunion. Oiya there's Mas Ferdi in the house, why don't you just go in?" 

After answering a question from Ms. Anisa, Velicia deliberately asked her mother-in-law so that Ms. Anisa would no longer ask her.

"Have repeatedly rung your doorbell, still no one opened the door. And Mom's phone was left at home, so I couldn't contact you two" Ms. Anisa replied with a sigh.

"Shortly Mom, I'll call Mas Ferdi first" Velicia said as she picked up the phone from her pants pocket.

"Later on, you better open the door of your house. I was tired from carrying this," said Anisa Bu while thrusting a goodie bag in front of Velicia.

"Is this Mom?" velicia asked before taking over the goodie bag from her mother-in-law's hand.

"The herbal medicine for you two so that you can quickly have offspring," replied Ms. Anisa who was still holding out the goodie bag in front of Velicia.

Velicia sighed. He felt claustrophobic when he heard of the herbal medicine that aimed to make him have offspring. Verily Velicia's heart raged hearing it all.

"Here, take it quickly and don't forget to drink it every-"

"Mother, enough! Please no longer talk about the issue of heredity before the mother's child performs the operation again," Velicia said half hysterically in between sobs.

Just hit Bu Anisa's face stiffened. He was shocked to hear what his son-in-law said.

"W-what do you mean? Ferdi operation? What operation?" asked Anisa nervously.

Velicia stopped her crying. She brushed the tears that were so boldly coming out in front of her mother-in-law.

All this time Velicia was still being tough, she did not want to tell her mother-in-law about her son. And now, her tears and cries could no longer be prevented.

With her heart and her current feelings of deep guilt towards Raymond and her husband, she is now a little hysterical as her mother-in-law again offends her about the descent.

Velicia neutralized her breath so that her cries would no longer come out. Rubbing a trace of her tears she said,

"It turns out that Mas Ferdi has had a vasectomy. It's worth it no matter what my attempt to get pregnant, it still doesn't work."

Velicia's tears flowed back to tell her about her husband. It seems that at any time she could not forgive her husband's lies even though she had tried to convince her heart to forgive him.

As soon as Ms. Anisa's body was limp, her head felt heavy even she was surprised to hear the fact conveyed by her daughter-in-law.

His right hand held onto his chest which felt his heart pounding violently. His breath that went up and down in shock made him have to stay still for a moment to neutralize it.

Velicia cried as she pleased in front of her mother-in-law as she said,

"Sorry Mom, I'm sorry Ve."

Hearing her daughter-in-law say sorry to her made Bu Anisa pity her. All this time Ms. Anisa blames him without knowing the real problem. 

"Contact Ferdi right now and after that give your phone to Mom," said Anisa Bu while gently rubbing Velicia's hair.
