Chapter 95 Risks to be accepted

Velicia came home with a happy heart from her trip together with Raymond.

She forgot that her husband was at home like yesterday, waiting for her to come home.

Velicia opened the door of her house very carefully. With her still-scattered smile, Velicia walked in without any burden.

"Where's the clock coming home?" 

Ferdi's voice startled Velicia who was walking into the house.

Instantly Velicia's steps came to a halt. She turned to the television room where her husband was standing there staring intently at her.

Velicia looked at the circular clock on her left hand.

"Ah, I'm sorry Mas" said Velicia while biting her lower lip.

"I'm sorry? Sorry for what? Mother why the hell has it been so strange lately?" ferdi asked as he stared intensely at his wife's bead eyes that looked terrified.

"Sorry," Velicia said back with regret.

"Mother! Stopit! Why should you apologize?" ferdi exclaimed with his gaze filled with question marks.

"Mother from anywhere all day go and can not be contacted? Why did you just come home at this hour?" ferdi asked back by raising his voice.

Velicia just lowered her head in fear and gripped her dress. He was truly like a child who was being scolded by his parents for being caught wrong.

"Did Mom really cheat? It can't be, can it?" ferdi asked with a smile as he shook his head to cover up his fear when it really happened.

Velicia breathed in air and greeted her, then she looked at her husband while saying,

"Yes right. I cheated. I met another man. Sorry."

"But I can't control myself" Velicia said back as she closed her eyes and clutched tightly onto her dress.

It felt like Ferdi was hit by a large rock that made him feel the pain of his entire body so helpless.

Ferdi's eyes reddened, his hands ruffled his hair. With his back he rubbed his nape and looked at the roof so that his tears would not drip.

"Mother, Mother is joking, right? Mother is not that kind of woman. I know exactly that. Mother do not lie. This isn't funny. Although joking, there are things that can be said and should not be said," Ferdi said with a look of disbelief at his wife.

Velicia prepared herself. She looked at her husband with a confident look even though in her heart she was very scared.

"I'm not lying. I was really in touch with other men" Velicia said with slightly trembling lips.

"Mother! Mother, are you crazy?!" exclaim Ferdi did not believe what his wife said

"I'm already crazy. I love other men. And I can't control the love that's getting deeper and bigger and bigger, '" Velicia said with tears that she couldn't hold back.

Both of Velicia's hands covered her face, her tears more and more coming out. She feels guilty, but she doesn't want to lose her loved ones and give her happiness.

"Mother! Stopit! You're not that kind of woman. Let's just say it's just playful and now you're conscious" exclaimed Ferdi from where he stood, trying to resuscitate his wife.

Velicia was crying harder. She bit her lower lip to stop her crying. Now she was as unwilling as she was in front of her husband who was still looking at her with a look of disbelief.

"Is it because every day I call you Mother? Lilies Mother? Mother Love? Is that why you're doing this? asked Ferdi with reddened eyes.

"No," Velicia replied in between her cries and shook her head.

"Then, is it because I avoided sleeping with you? Or maybe because I don't want to have children?" asked Ferdi with a trembling voice.

"No. At first I was hurt because of your affair with that woman. But. but I don't want to pay it back. I'm…."

Velicia could not stop her crying, not even her words could go on because her tears were dripping down again. Even his snot slightly came out along with the roar of his tears.

"Then why? I'm not having an affair. Lani is just my subordinate and we did meet in the office because our work requires us to be in the room with others" Ferdi explained to his wife to trust him.

"I fell in love with him. I love other men" Velicia said between her sobs.

At once Ferdi was speechless. Even her tears just escaped wetting her cheeks.

"Mother, are you crazy? You're kidding, aren't you? You're not that kind of woman. I know exactly what you are like. You're an unlikely woman to do that" Ferdi said with trembling lips and looked at his wife with a look of disbelief.

"sorry. But.. but I. I love that man," Velicia said in tears.

At once Ferdi felt his world crumbling. The wife he loved confessed to having an affair with another man and confessed her feelings of love for him.

Ferdi's hands covered his face. The removal of her tears that had dripped on her cheeks and her tears were held back so as not to drip back. 

Her hands grabbed her hair, frustrated by the situation she was facing at the moment. After that he said,

"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear any of this."

Then he left Velicia who was still standing and crying before him.

Ferdi shut the door of their house. And he left on foot carrying the pain in his heart.

The road through it feels very long. He has no purpose. He simply obeyed where his footsteps led him away.

After the departure of her husband, Velicia sat on the floor and sobbed.

She had no intention of cheating at all even though she knew her husband had cheated on her.

However, his friendship and closeness to Raymond aroused both their love and affection.

Now, they can no longer remove that taste. Even the two of them felt a need for each other and Raymond felt unable to live without Velicia. So did Velicia who seemed to be going crazy if she could not meet Raymond.

"Now what should I do?" velicia said in her tears.

Love approached Velicia who was sitting on the floor and crying. Love rubbed her fine fur on Velicia's hand.

Velicia turned towards his hand. He saw the love he wanted to pamper.

He took Love and carried it in his lap. Then he rubbed slowly the fine fur of Love while saying,

"Love, forgive Mother yes. If Mother is not in this house, Love must remain healthy."

Velicia's tears are back. He did not cry because he already knew the risks. He only regretted what he had before, before he became stressed because of the actions of his husband and in-laws.

He used to be very happy to be in the midst of the Ferdi family. Ferdi's mother loved Velicia as much as her own child and Ferdi was very attentive to Velicia.

However, all that changed after Ferdi who did not want the presence of children between them, so all this happened.

"It's my choice. And I have to accept the risk" Velicia said, rubbing her soft, silky fur against Love's body.
