Chapter 25 Getting Married?

Ve knows exactly how I feel. But anyway we try. If God has not allowed us to have children, then we will never be able to have children until God allows it" Velicia said with a face that looked very sad.

"Have Ferdi said for a long time, why don't we just adopt a child anyway? Who knows if we adopt a child then Ve can get pregnant quickly," said Ferdi mediate the conversation of his mother and his wife.

"No. Until whenever I won't agree. You better get married again. Who knows if you are polygamous, your new wife can soon give you offspring. Mother does not want a grandchild of someone else's offspring. I want a granddaughter of your own offspring" said Ms. Anisa with emotion.

"Mom! Why did Mom say that? Velicia's my wife, whenever she's my wife. There's nothing else. Once Mother said such a thing in front of Mother's own daughter-in-law. Ferdi did not expect that Mother could have such thoughts," cried Ferdi in front of his mother.

After that, everything was silent for a few seconds. Then Ms. Anisa placed the package she was carrying on the dining table.

"What's Mom for? I don't need these medicines" Ferdi said as he shifted the herbal medicines in front of him to stay away from him.

"So that you will quickly get offspring" replied Ms. Anisa firmly.

"But Mom, we're healthy. And we don't need drugs"

"That's it, don't just complain. Drink quickly. I will stay here for the night" said Anisa Bu while opening the packaging of the herbal medicine for Velicia and Ferdi.

They were forced to both take the herbal medicine with the supervision of Ms. Anisa.

"Bitter Ma'am!" said Ferdi while removing his tongue after gulping down the herbal medicine.

"Good! Now you go to bed quickly. And remember, all these herbal remedies you should drink every day," said Ms. Anisa while arranging some herbal medicine in the refrigerator.

Without saying a word, Velicia immediately went inside her room. Her heart ached hearing what her mother-in-law said right in front of her. 

Which woman would not be sad if her mother-in-law told her son to remarry in front of his wife.

Velicia immediately went inside the bathroom to wash her face. He was eager to let out his tears so that his heart could be relieved again even though it would be injured again.

Unfortunately the tears did not come out even though as hard as Velicia tried to pull it out. 

He looked at the mirror in front of him and watched his own face carefully. Then he said in his heart,

Are my tears dry because I cry too often? Lord...what should I do if Mas Ferdi really gets remarried? I really don't want to be combined. And until whenever I won't want to be combined. It is better for me to part with him than to live with my inner torment every day.

After that he came out of the bathroom with the same feeling as before he went into the bathroom.
