Chapter 112 Guilt

Velicia's head was on Raymond's chest. In the arms of the man who loved her so much, she felt comfort and tranquility as she slept. In Velicia's heart said,

It feels warm, comfortable and calm. Not like when I slept with Mas Ferdi who always turned his back on me. Remembering his name, I felt strange. I feel like crying. What I am doing and feeling right now feels like a dream that I have never revealed to anyone. The happiness to have each other that makes me soar. Just the blue sky and a place to lie down was enough for me to feel like I had this world with this man, the man who loved me so much.

“Ve, do you remember when we first met?” raymond asked as he gently rubbed the hair of the woman he loved.

Velicia raised her head to look at Raymond's face. Then he nodded his head and said,

“How was my first impression when you saw me?”

Raymond recalled the first time they met. Then he smiled as he said,

“You are so beautiful, your sweet smile really caught my attention. Just by looking at you I can tell if you are a very kind and gentle person. Unfortunately I see sadness and loneliness in your eyes. That's why I want to be by your side.”

Velicia smiled as she looked gently at Raymond's bead eyes and said,

“Emmm... so as it is..,”.

“If I how? What was your first impression of seeing me?” raymond asked as he stared intensely at Velicia's bead eyes.

Velicia imagined when they met for the first time. Then he said,

“You're so handsome Ray. Your smile can take my mind off when you see it. But, I don't know why I saw you like a lonely person back then.”

“Ah... I look very sad apparently,” said Raymond who was greeted with rarity from Velicia.

“It turns out we both look very sad,” said Velicia with a big smile.

Raymond also smiled broadly at the words of the woman sleeping in his arms at this time. Then he kissed her gently on the forehead, closing his eyes, to channel all his feelings of love. Then she hugged the body of her lover while saying, She hugged it,

“Let's sleep. We are ahead of a happier tomorrow for us.”

They both closed their eyes and hugged each other tightly while carrying their hopes in their sleep, hoping that tomorrow would be all they hoped for.

In the middle of the forest Velicia was alone while shouting calling out Raymond's name. He walks through the forest alone by befriending the moonlight that shows him the way. He was terrified looking for Raymond who was no longer by his side.

He slowly walked down a slightly steep path with twigs and rocks on every road he walked. Not only that, the steep cliff was ready to accept it if he was not careful with his path.

He found someone in front of him, unfortunately, who was now in front of him was not the man he was looking for. The moonlight hit the face of the person before him. Velicia was shocked and widened her eyes when she saw the face of the man she had left behind.

“How can you do this to me?” ferdi said with his flat face.

Velicia was frightened, she turned around and she came back shocked when she saw someone looking at her with a gaze filled with anger.

“So far I've been really good to you. I already consider you as my own daughter. How dare you do that to my beloved son?” ms. Anisa said very cynically to Velicia.

Then he turned in the other direction. Unfortunately someone with a familiar face, is now blocking it.

“His cup is here where you escaped? Do you think you can escape me?” tania said with her explosive emotions.

Velicia was terrified with everyone who was blocking her on each side. And Tania walked forward with eyes that seemed as if they were going to finish off Velicia.

Velicia looked behind her. His eyes glazed over at the steep cliffs behind him. The cliff looks very creepy as if ready to accept himself who will fall into that place.

Tania smiled sinisterly at Velicia while walking forward and both her hands moved as if to strangle Velicia's neck. Velicia's foot reflexes moved backwards.

“Emmm... mmm... No…! Don't..!” shouted Velicia who was already at the boundary of the cliff.

“Please...!!!” yelled Velicia who was falling into the cliff while extending her hand for help.

Raymond's hand gently rubbed the tears of Velicia who looked extremely frightened. She carried Velicia's body into her arms and gently rubbed her back to calm her down while saying,

“Tenace. Its alright. There I am here.”

Velicia was comfortable in Raymond's arms, but her eyes were now fixed on the two rings lying on the table by their bed.

The ring was their wedding ring. A few days together, Raymond and Velicia agree to release their wedding ring with their partner.

Velicia looked at the two rings with a guilty feeling. He was tormented with his guilt until he was carried away in his sleep dream.

Raymond understood the anxiety of the woman's heart. He felt guilty for taking her away from his life. But this is their choice, either way.

Slowly Raymond could make Velicia tell a story. Unburdened and fearless, Velicia told him as she closed her eyes inside Raymond's arms.

Like being hypnotized by Raymond's treatment, Velicia told me while closing her eyes until she slept in Raymond's arms.

The next morning, Raymond was well dressed. She had already made up her mind to ask Velicia's husband for forgiveness. She did not want Velicia to be tormented by her guilt for her husband and in-laws who had been her family all along.

“Ray, are you sure you will go there?” velicia asked with a look that seemed reluctant to leave Raymond alone.

“We can't live our lives forever by running away like this. I don't want to make you feel tormented doing this,” Raymond said with a smile and a gentle swab of Velicia's hair.

“Then we have to go both. I'll come with you,” said Velicia who looks very anxious.

Raymond smiled and shook his head in response to Velicia's request. He did not want Velicia to feel the pain of being reviled and would probably be hit like that time. She did not want Velicia to have her hard time apologizing to the closest person who was disappointed in her.

“For today, let me just come and apologize. We can both go together to meet them next time,” said Raymond who smiled trying to calm Velicia's heart.

It was obvious that the look on Velicia's face was filled with anxiety and fear. He was really scared if anything happened to Raymond so he didn't come back because he met them.

“I'll be back soon. Don't worry,” said Raymond as he rubbed Velicia's cheek.

“You're really going back, aren't you?” velicia asked with a gaze that was like she did not want to be left behind by Raymond.

“Of course. I'll be right back because the woman I love is waiting for me here alone. For now, wait here for a while,” Raymond said as he stared intensely at Velicia's bead of eyes to trust her.

Velicia nodded her head even though it was hard to let the man she loved go alone without him.

Raymond kissed Velicia's forehead gently and long, to channel his entire feeling. After which Raymond smiled as he waved his hand walking away from the place.

“Ray!” velicia exclaimed as she ran towards Raymond.

Raymond turned his back on hearing the voice of the woman he loved so much calling his name.

Velicia was slightly on her tiptoes and her hand pulled a little Raymond's collar and…

A cup!

Velicia's lips stuck to Raymond's lips just a glance. After that Velicia said,

“Come home Ray, I'm waiting for you.”

Raymond smiled happily. He turned back his body and walked away leaving Velicia who was still standing in place.

“May you be okay Ray. And hurry home. I don't want to be alone without you. I think the time will be long terrace waiting for you back,” said Velicia while staring at the back of the man whose name has been attached beautifully in her heart.
