Chapter 89 Operation

"Pak Ferdi had to stay overnight to prepare for his surgery" said the doctor who handled Ferdi's surgery.

"Loh doc, how about a stay? Can't you just go right, Doc?" ask the doctor.

The doctor smiled at the question asked by Ferdi. Then he said,

"We have to schedule it first sir, it can't be sudden. After all, you have to stay here before the operation is carried out so that I can monitor your health before the operation is done," the doctor told Ferdi.

Sorry sir, instead of me making you a prisoner, I just want to make sure. I didn't want you to change your mind before the surgery, the doctor said in his heart.

Ferdi felt strange about what the doctor said. That's why he just kept quiet without saying anything.

"Thank you doc" said Velicia, smiling at the doctor.

The doctor smiled and let him out of the room. Now in the room there was only Ferdi and Velicia.

"When you stay like this, what about my job?" ferdi said grumbling.

Velicia who was arranging drinks and food on the table, now stopped her movements and turned her head towards her husband. Then he said,

"Do we cancel Mas?"

Ferdi was surprised. Because all this time his wife really wanted if he immediately did the operation. 

Doesn't he really want this? Why did he change his mind? Is there anything that made him change his mind? Ferdi said in his heart.

Suddenly Ferdi remembered his wife who was calling in the middle of the night with a happy smile.

In his heart Ferdi felt a sense of awkwardness and longed for him to ask his wife. But his wish was undone because he was unsure of what was on his mind.

Velicia had always accompanied her husband inside his room. And Ferdi always told him to help him do something if his wife was cool with his cell phone.

It was always like that until the next day Ferdi entered the operating room for surgery in accordance with the provisions that the doctor had given him.

"Mother, I'm going in first. Pray the operation goes well and we can have offspring" Ferdi said before entering the operating room.

Velicia smiled forcefully and she nodded her head in response to her husband's remark.

Enter Ferdi into the operating room with a sense of anxiety because of his fear to perform the operation.

As for Velicia, she simply stared at the operating room with a wondering heart.

Why does it feel so mediocre? I don't even feel happy at all. I should have been happy when Mas Ferdi had the surgery back. What does this mean I still want Raymond? Velicia said in her heart.

Velicia's phone vibrated and Raymond's name was on the screen.

He immediately got out of his seat and walked away from the operating room.

His heart pounded when he heard the voice of the man he so missed. They talked a lot and smiled at each other to hear her lover speak. 

They are both like teenagers in love. They forget about them. All they knew right now was that they felt as if they could not breathe if they were not together.

After a while, they ended the conversation over the phone because Raymond had to do his job and Velicia had to accompany Ferdi who was out of the operating room.

The next day, Ferdi was allowed to go home. And he's still taking time off, so he hasn't returned to work.

"Mother, accompany me at home. Don't go to work just yet" said Ferdi, who was sitting on the couch watching TV and holding Love, his beloved cat.

Velicia, who was preparing breakfast and medicine for her husband, turned her attention to her husband and said,

"But Mas, it's-"

"Mother goes to work just like that when I start working. Maybe tomorrow I'll start working again" said Ferdi as he rubbed the soft fur of Love sleeping on his lap.

Velicia sighed. She could not argue with her husband because of his obligation to take care of her husband after the surgery.

Looks like I'm gonna have to keep myself busy today. I'd better start cleaning the house. After washing clothes, ironing and cleaning the kitchen area, Velicia said in her heart.

"Hufffttttt. Ve spirit," said Velicia softly as she clenched her hands in front of her chest to encourage herself.

That day Velicia was not working and she was just busy at home taking care of Ferdi and doing her household chores.

In the afternoon, Raymond sent him a message.

Ve, I missed you. Can we meet in the park usually? In the park where the kids play.

Velicia's lips suddenly curved upwards when reading the message. Even a happy twinkle implied on his face at this moment.

He wanted to run right now to Raymond. Unfortunately, she hesitates to go see Raymond because her husband will definitely not let her go at this time.

Velicia turned to Raymond who was asleep on the sofa along with Love. He quickly got out of his house and ran to the park around his house.

I think I'm crazy now. I ran as hard as I could to leave my husband at home to meet the other man now in my heart, Velicia said in her heart while propping up her knees with both hands, trying to neutralize his bad breath.

He looked towards the front which already had a male figure smiling sweetly at him.

All of that showed how happy and impatient Velicia was to meet Raymond, the man who occupied her heart at this moment.

Raymond who was unprepared with the hug felt shocked, it was fortunate that he could hold it in so that they did not fall down at this moment.

The two of them looked at each other and smiled happily together, as if the world they occupied belonged to just the two of them. And the air they were breathing right now was only for the two of them alone.

Happy, that feeling they both feel. They even feel very happy.

Raymond smiled sweetly as he extended his hand at Velicia. And Velicia welcomed the hand with her warm and sweet smile.

The two of them sat on the seats they usually occupied. There's a lot they talk about. Their laughter and jokes showed their happiness in this moment.

While in another place, precisely in the office, Lani had not been able to focus on working. During working hours he always looked towards Ferdi's desk.

He sighed and instantly his eyes sparkled as he said in his heart,
