Chapter 22 Lunch with new friends

As long as Velicia taught, Tania was still paying attention to her. Until the time to go home the children arrived.

Tania walked over to Velicia who was tidying up her desk. Then he said,

"Ve, we're having lunch yuk."

Velicia turned her head towards Tania who was already in front of her. Then he looked at the circular clock on his left hand.

"My hours are long. What next time we have lunch together?" velicia said as she looked at Tania's face.

Tania looked at the circular clock on her right hand. Then he said,

"I'm waiting for you Ve. I don't even do anything at home. My husband is also working. Mending me here is just like you."

Velicia smiled hearing the words from Tania. He felt they felt the same.

"But maybe less than two to three hours, Tan. And as soon as an hour as possible" Velicia said with a smile that expressed guilt.

"It's okay Ve. I'm at home here. I'll wait for you outside, yes" Tania said with a smile on Velicia.

Velicia could not resist either. He felt pity to see Tania who seemed to have no friends in the area.

"Please. I'll try to make it faster. And I'll ask for permission to go home sooner today. But I can't promise, I can only work on it" Velicia said with a big smile on Tania.

"Okay Ve's. I-i understand. I'll wait for you in front without complaining" Tania said with a chuckle.

Tania walks around the kindergarten school. Then he looked around at the children's games that were outside. He smiled and remembered something.

"Excuse me" Tania said in front of the door of the teacher room where Velicia and her friends were talking to discuss while preparing lessons for their students tomorrow.

All the teachers turned their heads towards the door that Tania already had in front of her.

Velicia scrunched her forehead looking at the face of the sumringah from Tania. Then he said,

"What's up Tan? Are you going home now?"

"No Ve, I just wanted to tell you something. Emmm... Can I donate playground here?" tania said with sparkling eyes.

Velicia turned to her friends. They looked at each other for answers among them.

"Mmmm. I think we should ask the principal first Tan. We do not have the right to decide something without telling the principal first," Velicia said in a condolent tone to Tania.

"It's okay Ve. I'm waiting for news. And I hope that news is good news" Tania said with a chuckle.

Velicia laughed at Tania. Even Velicia's friends laughed at her.

"Ve, you better go home first. Poor friend has waited a long time. Your job is done, isn't it?" vira said as she looked at Velicia.

"Yes Ve, you go first. Soon we will be home, too" said Rani in support of Vira's words.

Velicia turned to her other friend and they nodded in agreement with what Vira and Rani had said.

"Alright, I'll go home now," Velicia said with a smile on her friends.

Velicia pulled Tania's hand, taking her on a walk with her.

"Yuk Tan, we go home now" Velicia said with a carefree heart.

I don't know why Velicia was happy to talk to Tania. Tania, too, felt very comfortable talking to Velicia.

"Where do we eat Ve?" tanya Tania who walked side by side with Velicia.

"Emmm... Where are ya?" velicia said while thinking.

Velicia was about to suggest her favorite dining place along with her husband, which is a place to eat that serves home-cooked cuisine. 

However, she vividly remembered about her husband who was eating together with Lani so that made Velicia's mind growled at seeing her husband's affair right in front of her own eyes.

"Where is Ve?" tania asked as if waiting for an answer from Velicia.

They were still walking along the sidewalk along the road. While thinking about their lunch spot, Velicia looked around the road they were on.

"Tania, is there any food you want to eat right now? I was confused as to what we would eat later," Velicia asked with a chuckle.

Velicia followed Tania's index finger. He nodded his head approving of Tania's idea for lunch at the cafe.

They prefer to be outside the cafe which is around the park with a large umbrella on it.

"Ve, I went to the bathroom first huh," Tania said as she moved from her seat.

"Okay, you go through there, just keep going straight, there's toilet writing later there" Velicia said, pointing at the toilet.

"Okay, I went to the toilet first, Ve," Tania said before walking towards the toilet.

Velicia fiddled with her phone while waiting for the food to come and also waited for Tania who had not returned from the toilet.

Velicia smiled bitterly looking at the screen of her phone while saying,

"What did you expect Ve? Your husband called or sent you a message? Don't expect Ve. Don't expect the impossible."

"Ve?!" 

Suddenly a sound that managed to shock him.

Velicia turned to her right and left and looked back to look for the person who called out to her.

"Raymond!" chirp Velicia with a sweet smile looking at Raymond who was now walking towards her.

"How are you doing Ve? How are you doing?" raymond asked with a sweet smile at Velicia.

"It's better Ray. Thanks to you," Velicia replied with a wide smile.

"Are you really healed Ve? I'm afraid you're limping around like you were back then" Raymond said in a worried tone.

Velicia smiled seeing Raymond's concern for her. She was so grateful to have Raymond in her place when she needed help.

"Indeed, Ray hasn't healed well, but at least my current situation is better. And. I'm not walking like a granny anymore, Ray. Take it easy," Velicia said as she chuckled at the end of her words.

"Thank God then. But if there's anything, you have to tell me Ve. I'm ready to help you" said Raymond with a sweet smile.

Velicia also welcomed Raymond's sweet smile. She returned the sweet smile of Raymond with her sweet smile that was not inferior to Raymond's smile.

"I'll remember it was always Ray. And don't expect you to break that promise" Velicia said, chuckling.

"Alright Ve. I promise and I will not deny" said Raymond, chuckling.

"Oh yeah, who are you with Ve? Do I need to take you home? I still have a break now" asked Raymond in a serious tone.

"Thank you Ray. Don't bother. I was with my friend. We just got home from work and stopped by here for lunch" Velicia replied as she gave back her sweet smile.

"Women or men?" ask Raymond to investigate.

"Female Ray. Wh why? Are you jealous?" velicia asked with a chuckle, with the intention to joke around with Raymond.

"Ah you're Ve. I asked seriously. I want to make sure you get home safely" Raymond said seriously looking at Velicia.

"Thank you Ray. Next time I will definitely treat you as my thanks to you," Velicia said softly and with a smile that allowed Raymond to fall flat.

Raymond smiled as he nodded his head, after which he saw a clock coiling in his right hand. Then he said,

"I am first Ve. My break will soon be over."

Velicia nodded and she waved her hand at Raymond and said,

"Be careful."

Raymond nodded his head and waved his hand at Velicia while saying,

"Remember Ve, if there's anything call me."

Upon seeing the nod of Velicia's head, Raymond immediately walked away from the cafe.

Velicia still looked at him even though Raymond's back was nowhere to be seen.

 "Who's Ve? Is he your friend?"
