Chapter 8 Meeting garden

Velicia simply stirred up her food without tasting it. It seems like his appetite is gone.

"Ve, you're not eating? Eat even a little Ve," said Vira in between the chewing of her meal.

"You said you were very hungry and you brought us to eat here. So you should eat a lot of Ve, because this is your favorite place to eat," Rani chimed in with Vira's words.

Yes, yes, this place is my choice. I invited them to eat at this place. Had I not come to this place, I would not have met them. But I am grateful, with the arrival of me to this place, I became aware of what Mas Ferdi was doing behind my back. Although coming to this place left me deeply hurt, Velicia said in her heart.

"Ve, what are you?" asked Vira who looked worried about Velicia's current state.

I have to eat so that I have the energy and also I am the one who brought them here, Velicia again said in her heart while giving her forced smile to her two friends.

Velicia ate her food very greedily. It's just that it looks so obvious if the meal is so forced. So he often coughed because he choked.

"Aaah.. satiated also yes finally," said Velicia with a big smile and looks forced.

Vira and Rani understand if Velicia forced her to eat. But the two of them were reluctant to comment because they knew the sadness of Velicia's heart. 

Even they were both reluctant to ask, comment or discuss about Ferdi.

"We're back now, yes" Velicia said as she moved from her seat.

Rani and Vira follow Velicia without asking much questions. They split up in front of the dining room. Now the direction they are heading is different. They walk in the other direction according to the direction of their home.

"Huffftttt.it seems like I have to play first in the park so that all my thoughts become fresh again like the flowers in the park," velicia said as she walked towards the park near her home complex.

Sitting on the garden chair looking at the little children playing made Velicia's heart calm down a little.

"Of course the little ones can make us calm," said Velicia softly while smiling at a group of children who were playing.

There were a lot of kids playing in the park. Some play slide, swing, seesaw, play hide and seek, play sand and some play marbles and jump rope.

But there was something that made Velicia happy to see him. The little ones were playing with soap bubbles and there were some of them chasing after them. I think he wants to play it.

Velicia moved from her seat. His tote bag is now used as a sling bag. He approached the children and said,

"Sister, aunt can play?"  

All the children playing the soap bubble looked at him. They stared at each other as if asking each other to allow Velicia to play with them or not.

"Tante's not a bad guy, is he?" ask one of them.

"He's a teacher at my school. O Mother," said one of the children among them, moving his hands to the left and to the right.

"Oh hi, Rio right?" Velicia greeted the boy.

"Yes Mother. Why is Mommy here?" rio asked with curiosity.

"Mother's house is here. Looks like it's cool playing soap bubbles. Can Mommy come with you guys to play?" velicia asked while bringing out her typical style of teaching in Kindergarten school.

"Mmm.. Can you be friends?" Rio asked his friends opinion.

"Mmm... Where do you buy it? It's money, do you want to buy?" velicia asked as she circulated her gaze looking for the soap bubble seller and reached into the money in her pants pocket.

"Let Rio buy Mommy. The one selling is over there," Rio replied as he pointed towards the soap bubble seller.

"far no? Buy it the same Mother yes," said Velicia while looking at the seller of soap bubbles shown by Rio.

"No need for Mother. Rio just bought it himself there," Rio said while shaking his head.

"Yes, here's the money. You can buy as much as you want" Velicia said as she handed Rio a fifty thousand note.

"Yeee. We can buy a lot," Rio cheered followed by his other friends.

Then Rio headed towards the soap bubble seller along with his two other friends.

Velicia waited together with Rio's other friends. They blew the soap bubbles and the others chased after him. Velicia also went after the soap bubble. Until Rio came carrying many bottles of soap bubbles, they started playing back.

"Mother, this is a bottle for Mother to play. Mommy can blow it like we do" Rio said as he handed Velicia a bottle of soap bubbles.

Velicia smiled as her hand received the soap bubble bottle that Rio gave her.

"Thank you yes. Let's play together" Velicia said, playing the soap bubble.

After being satisfied to blow it, Velicia gave the soap bubbles she brought to Rio's friends because she wanted to run around chasing the soap bubbles that had been blown along with the other children.

Unknowingly Velicia played together with the children until the afternoon. And many of them have been picked up by their mothers to return to their homes.

Raymond walked back to his house through the garden. Every afternoon he was always happy to see the children playing and running around chasing in the playground.

Armed with his digital camera that he always carries everywhere, Raymond took pictures of children who were playing and took pictures of many things that made him interested.

"Ve? Is that really Velicia?" raymond said softly while smiling broadly at the behavior of Velicia who was playing with the children with her carefree.

The camera was directed towards Velicia. He took many pictures of Velicia with the children. Velicia's carefree laughter made Raymond smile involuntarily.

Suddenly Velicia ran over and she bowed her body to the trash can that was there.

Looking from a distance Velicia was not fine. Raymond, who had been watching her since, was worried to see her.

"He why is he? Is she okay? Aaah...it seems like she is not okay," Raymond monologued while looking at Velicia who was still the same as before.

Without thinking any longer, Raymond stepped his foot towards Velicia. He could not bear to see Velicia who was spewing her food to the point of shedding her tears and sweat coming out of her temple.

Raymond's hand massaged Velicia's nape gently in hopes of helping her vomit.

Velicia who felt there was a hand massaging her nape, she looked back.

His eyes widened to see Raymond smiling sweetly at him.

"Are you okay Ve?" asked Raymond with a worried look.
