Chapter 2 Meeting

Velicia looked up at the person who was talking to her. He saw a piece of paper that read the home address.

"What's new in this area?" velicia asked while looking at the writing on the paper.

The man smiled and nodded his head. Then he said,

"It was only today that I moved in the area here, Ma'am," replied the man.

Velicia nodded her head. And he read back the address on the paper.

"It's still less than a hundred meters from here. Then go straight down that road, keep turning left. After that, I looked for the address on this paper" Velicia said, pointing to the direction she described using her hand.

The man received back his address paper which he had given to Velicia to look at. He smiled sweetly at Velicia and extended his hand in front of Velicia. It seems like he wants to get Velicia acquainted.

"Did you know, my name is Raymond, just call me Ray" Raymond said, extending his hand to shake Velicia's hand.

"My name is Velicia. Just call Ve," Velicia said as she welcomed Raymond's helping hand to shake her hand.

They exchanged smiles. And unconsciously they shook hands for a few minutes.

The car horn that happened to pass by made them aware. The two are wrong with each other.

"I'm sorry" said Raymond, scratching his nape in the wrong manner.

"I'm sorry too" Velicia said with a clumsy smile at her misbehavior.

For a moment they were silent because of the wrong behavior and looked at each other and gave their clumsy smiles.

"I'm sorry, I have to go to work immediately" Velicia said, nodding her head in a sign of respect before she left.

Raymond nodded his head to return a nod of Velicia's head. Then he walked towards the direction where he had been pointed out by Velicia earlier.

The day passed so quickly. Velicia who works as a Kindergarten teacher, now comes home with her tired.

The door of the house, which he had occupied for five years, was empty, empty and uninhabited. 

Enter him with a sense of fatigue, but there is gratitude when he saw the house was uninhabited.

Thankfully, mother must have gone home, Velicia said in her heart holding her chest.

His footsteps lightly entered his house in the hope that nothing would change from what was inside his house.

Velicia exhaled after entering the living room. The order in his house changed. Almost everything she had arranged with her husband had been changed back by her mother-in-law.

"Ah.. mi instant me," said Velicia when she remembered the instant noodles she had hidden when her mother-in-law would throw them away.

Velicia ran towards the hideout to store the instant noodles in the black trash bag earlier.

"Aaah... thank God..," said Velicia with relief to see the contents in the trash bag that he held was still intact.

He immediately brought a trash bag containing several packs of instant noodles into his house.

Immediately placed in the closet where the ingredients contained in the kitchen set usually.

"Why has it changed? Has everything been cleaned by Mom?" Velicia wondered as she opened and took a look inside the kitchen set.

"Huffftt.. Should I be grateful? Or should I complain about having a mother-in-law like her?" velicia asked back to herself.

Before marrying Ferdi, Velicia was very grateful because Miss Anisa, mother of Ferdi was very dear to her. Until Ferdi felt like he was not the biological child of his mother because his mother's affection for Velicia exceeded his affection for Ferdi who in fact was his own biological child.

"Darling...have you come home yet?" 

There was a sound of screaming from the direction of the door that had just opened.

Velicia immediately walked quickly towards the doorway to welcome her husband's arrival.

"What's that?" velicia asked as she pointed at the item that Ferdi was carrying.

"Oh this, he's the cat I just adopted from the pet shop," Ferdi replied as he showed the cargo pet in his hand.

"Cats? Since when did Mas Ferdi like cats?" velicia asked with a surprised look.

"So when I met a friend, he advised me to adopt a cat as our training material if we have children" Ferdi replied while taking out a pure white Persian cat.

"So, we think of him as our son?" velicia asked with a look of disbelief.

"It can be said like that," Ferdi replied with a smile.

The cat in her cradle approached Velicia. With a happy smile, Ferdi gave the cat into his wife's hands.

"Try her," Ferdi told Velicia.

Velicia was forced to accept the cat in her carrier.

"What name do we give him?" ask Ferdi to Velicia.

Velicia seemed to think, she knew nothing about cats. His days were filled with little children he taught in class.

"He's a female" Ferdi said as he watched his wife think.

"Lilute. Yeah, she's white, what if she's named Lili?" Velicia told her husband the idea.

"Mmm. Surely later she will be beautiful like a lily," Ferdi said with a chuckle and her hands gently rubbed the delicate feathers of Lili who was in Velicia's sling.

Is Ferdi healthy? Why is a pugnacious cat like this beautiful? Velicia wondered in her heart while smiling to return her husband's smile.

Ferdi brought his face closer, right in front of Lili's face. She smiled at Lili and rubbed her soft fur.

"Lili, this is your mother, her name is Velicia. Just call Mother Ve," Ferdi told the Lili whose face was facing her.

Velicia widened her eyes. She did not think that her husband would go that far.

Really, time' yes I am called Mother of the same cat? Why is Ferdi so weird? Velicia grumbled in her heart.

"Here Bun, let Daddy carry his Lili," said Ferdi while taking over Lili's sling.

Velicia was stunned again, she was again shocked by the words of her husband.

Is Ferdi really healthy? Did he come to this because he wanted the presence of a child from my womb? Velicia wondered again in her heart.

"Honey, please get Lili's food in the plastic bag next to the cage. And do not forget to prepare the sand and drinks as well when you prepare the food.

"What's?I-i?" velicia asked who was clearly in shock as she pointed to herself.

"Yes, you are the mother. So you have to take care of him. Count your baby training later if we have been given a child," replied Ferdi while rubbing thick and smooth feathers belonging to Lili who was on his lap.
