Chapter 23 Ferdi's Change

"Who's Ve? Is he your friend?" 

The voice startled Velicia who was staring at Raymond's departure.

Velicia turned her head to the side and it turned out that Tania was already sitting on the chair next to her.

"Yes Tan, he's my friend. Did you see him?" Velicia alternately asked Tania.

"No, I came here just now it looks like he's already turned, so I can't see him" Tania replied as she played her phone.

"Ve, can I have your phone number?" tanya Tania to Velicia.

"Maybe Tan, we're already friends" Velicia replied with a smile.

"Give me your HP number" Velicia said as she held out her phone in front of Tania.

Tania receives Velicia's phone and enters her mobile number on Velicia's phone.

"This is your Ve Hp. That's my number, save it," Tania said, giving back Velicia's phone.

Velicia immediately gave the name to the number Tania had written on her phone.

"Excuse me, brother, here's the food" said the waiter, who delivered the food while putting the food he brought on the table.

After putting the food down, the waiter said goodbye to leave.

"Thank you" Velicia and Tania said simultaneously.

Then they eat while asking questions about their work so that they do not feel their food is up.

"Tania, I'm heading back that way" Velicia said, pointing to her street.

"When is your house going in which direction?" velicia asked then while looking at Tania.

"What a coincidence Ve. My house is also going that way. Then we go together, yes" replied Tania with a happy smile.

The two of them walked together to the border of the road that differentiated the direction of their home.

I don't know why Tania doesn't feel exhausted walking with Velicia. In contrast to this morning, she quickly felt tired walking with Raymond, her husband.

"See you Tania. Be careful on the road" Velicia said with a wave of her hand as if parting with her playmate.

"See you, Ve. You are also careful huh," Tania said by waving her hand at Velicia who was still facing her.

Velicia nodded her head. Then he walked casually towards his home.

"Ve!" tania shouted to stop Velicia's steps.

Velicia stopped her steps and she looked back at Tania who was standing at her place before Velicia walked towards her house.

"What's up Tania?" velicia asked with a frown.

"Morrow can I go to school again?" tania asked with a big smile.

"Maybe Tania. You can visit there whenever you want" Velicia replied with a sweet smile at Tania.

"OKs. Thank you Ve. Tomorrow we will meet again" Tania said with a big smile.

Velicia smiled in response. Then they walked towards their homes.

"Huufffttt... finally we go into this house again," said Velicia softly after sighing that feels heavy when looking at the building that became her current residence.

Velicia stood in front of her house as if reluctant to enter the house.

Velicia's cell phone notification sounded loud because the atmosphere was very quiet in the area.

Velicia took her phone from the bag she had in her hand. His lips curved upwards when he saw the message on his phone screen.

"Why are you so considerate of Ray?" velicia said with a smile after reading the message that was sent by Raymond.

Raymond sent a message to Velicia asking her the current state. And strangely it made Velicia happy. 

Which woman is not happy if cared for and treated with sweetness by men. Same with Velicia.

In fact she did not expect that attention from Raymond, only that her husband never paid attention to her and treated her like Raymond did to her.

"Even my husband never remembers to ask me about my situation either by message or phone" Velicia said with a bitter smile as she watched Ferdi walk up to her.

With confidence Ferdi walked towards his house and smiled when he saw Velicia looking at him.

"Just home?" ferdi asked Velicia as he stood nearby.

"Yes Mas. Tumben Mas Ferdi's coming home at this hour?" velicia said after kissing the back of her husband's hand.

Ferdi looked at his wife who was still a little pale despite being polished with natural makeup.

"I'm worried about you. I want to eat with you," Ferdi replied with a sweet smile at Velicia.

Velicia smiled faintly because she could make Ferdi go home faster just by feeling pain. If she is in good health, she is not sure if her husband will go home sooner like this.

"Let's go inside. I brought food for us to eat with" said Ferdi, embracing Velicia's shoulder to walk into the house with him.

"Mas Ferdi took a shower first, let Ve prepare the food," Velicia said when she was inside the house.

"alright. It's food. Warm it if you think it's cold" said Ferdi while giving the package he carried.

Velicia also received the package. Then he took her to the kitchen.

He smiled bitterly when he saw the food Ferdi bought was the cuisine of the food places they often visited.

And that place is now a bad memory for Velicia. The shadow of Lani who was feeding Ferdi continued to be seen in his eyes.

"Did you have lunch there?" velicia said softly while smiling bitterly pouring vegetables and some side dishes into the container.

"Had the vegetables warmed?" asked Ferdi who was walking towards the kitchen.

"Yet Mas. This wants me to warm up. When did Ferdi buy it? What was it at lunch?" asked Velicia who was intending to investigate.

"I didn't have lunch, just put a sandwich on the other one. I want to get my work done so I can get home on time. And this food I bought on the way home," Ferdi replied as he moved the vegetables put by Velicia in a container into a small pot to warm it up.

"Go take care of this first, I'll take care of it" Ferdi said as he lit the stove.

Velicia looked at Ferdi for a moment before she walked inside her room.

What makes you now change like the first time we married Mas? Have you cut off your relationship with that woman? Or maybe you just fought until you came back to me? Ah... What do I think I am? It might be like what Mas Ferdi said, he was worried about me. Hopefully that's how it happened.

Velicia said in her heart while walking towards her room.

After Velicia finished the bath, they ate together at the dining table that Ferdi had set up.
