Chapter 96 Regret

Arriving at the hospital, Tania was immediately given help by doctors in the IGD room.

"Thirty stitches sir. If it goes deeper, the ligament will tear" said the doctor who handles Tania.

"Thank you doc" said Raymond.

"We'll excuse you first" the doctor said before leaving Raymond.

Raymond stared at his wife's body lying unconscious due to the influence of the drug on the patient's bed with the soles of the feet wrapped in bandages.

He breathed heavily. He did not expect that his wife would go that far.

Now he feels guilty. But he no longer wants to give up. He was not willing to sacrifice himself anymore for Tania and her parents.

A few moments later came Tania's parents. They rushed to the IGD room.

"Ray, what's going on?" asked Mama Tania when she was near Raymond and Tania who were still unconscious.

"How's Tania doing?" ask Papa Tania to answer his wife's question.

Raymond stared at his wife who was still unconscious. Then he said,

"His feet stepped on the broken glass. There were thirty stitches said the doctor."

"Kok can he step on the broken glass?" ask Papa Tania back.

Raymond looked back at his wife. He thought for a moment to answer a question from his in-laws.

"You'd better ask Tania if she's conscious" Raymond replied with a faint smile.

After a while, Tania was conscious and the doctor allowed her to go home.

Raymond pushed the wheelchair that Tania was already in. They stopped in front of the hospital waiting for Tania's parents' car.

"I'll stay at my parents' house. And I'll give you a week to clear things up" Tania told her husband with her flat face, expressionless and cold.

Raymond turned towards his wife who was beside him. He looked at his wife questioningly.

"For that one week, you should be able to cut off your relationship with Velicia. Then come to my parents' house to pick me up. And we're going back to the country where we were found. I'm sick of being in this city" Tania said, tightening all her teeth signifying her deep irritation.

"If you still see her one more time, just look at what I'm going to do" Tania said again with a look of annoyance.

Raymond let out a heavy sigh, then he approached his wife and said,

"Tania, I hope-"

"I will destroy her family and for the rest of her life she will be branded as a destroyer of people's households and a usurper of people's husbands" Tania said with a cruel expression.

Raymond again let out his heavy sigh. Then he said,

"Does it have to go that far?" 

"Why? Is that still not enough?" tania asked with her cynical smile.

A few seconds later, Tania's parents' car arrives. Raymond helped raise Tania into her parents' car.

"Raymond, come over for the weekend, we'll have a meal together. We are in the same city" said Mama Tania from her car.

Raymond only smiled forcefully as he lowered his head in a sign of respect for them. 

Tania was sitting in the back seat of her papa car. Dam remained expressionless looking straight ahead as his parents spoke to Raymond.

Raymond returned home on foot. Tania's car was taken by her father's driver to Tania's parents' home in the city.

Along the way home, Raymond thought about what he would do after this. 

Split with Velicia? He really is incapable. And he was sure that Velicia would also not be able to part with him.

"What shall I do, Lord," said Raymond, closing his face with his palms.

At Velicia's house, her cries were still heartbreaking. Her disappointment in herself made her a weak woman who wept over her actions.

There is a price to be paid by our actions. And Velicia admitted that. He was already prepared for the consequences, but it was not imagined that all this time would be like this.

All this time she has always been interested in her husband's relationship with other women, but not what it feels like now. Ferdi was always evasive so that no facts were revealed and painful as they are today.

Tonight, the four were both sad. They each thought about how their relationship continued.

Raymond thought about his relationship with Velicia. He knew that Tania would not mess with his threat. Raymond was confused by all of this.

On the other hand, Raymond wanted to stay together with Velicia. He did not want to be separated from the woman he loved so much. And on the other hand, Raymond was afraid that Tania would actually carry out her threat. She was afraid that Velicia would be branded as a domestic destroyer and branded as a snatch of people's husbands.

Velicia, she thought about how evil she was that hurt her husband and Tania's feelings. She also felt she was the cause of the breakdown of her own household, although she knew that the main cause of her broken relationship with her husband was her husband's actions.

Tania, she really felt betrayed by her husband and friend. His selfishness and emotion made him struggle with his revenge plan for the two of them.

As for Ferdi, he was still lamenting his fate. He blames himself for what is happening now. Along the way, he thought about what he would do. He did not want to lose the wife he loved.

Ferdi's feet brought him home on a very late night. He unknowingly opened the door of his unlocked home. 

He saw the body of his wife who fell asleep on the sofa in front of the television along with Love. His heart was very sad to imagine losing the figure of a submissive wife, kind and loved.

He took a blanket from his room and put it on his wife's body. 

Then he looked at his wife's face and shed his tears. He could not lose the most desirable wife he thought.

Enter him into the room, leaving his wife asleep on the sofa with a trail of tears still attached and clearly visible in Ferdi's eyes.

Ferdi knew that his wife was hurt, just like him. That is why he decided to keep their home.

Regrets always come too late. Now Ferdi regretted all his actions which resulted in the possibility that he would lose his wife.

Likewise with Tania, she regretted not immediately registering her marriage, as her husband's will at that time. Now that she has officially registered her marriage, she is presented with the fact that requires her to release her husband.

However, it was not Tania's name if she could not take back hers that others had seized. And if he could not reclaim his possessions, of course he would damage them so that others could not be happy to have the items snatched from him.
