"Is he your girlfriend, Elena?"
Upon entering the house, a group of young men and women of about the same age approached them even before the adults spoke a word.
Each of them measured Gerald.
It wasn't long before these people expressed their thoughts.
'Wow, Elena is so beautiful, yet she has terrible taste? It was obvious that his girlfriend was far from it!'
“Elena, we will ask you to join us at the cruise party together, but you always say there is something you should do. Hmmm, so you brought your girlfriend with you! ” said one of the girls.
“Ya, but what a coincidence.. We can go together!” Elena smiled and held Gerald's hand, never letting go of him once.
None of her cousins greeted Gerald at all. Elena knew that they were looking down on her as well. However, he did not dare to reveal Gerald's identity without his consent. Seeing that Gerald looked fine, he felt relieved.
But Gerald was far from happy, numb from attending such events too often. He simply chose to remain silent and keep his composure.
"Okay, Elena, sit down!"
At this moment, a middle-aged woman stood up. She's Elena's aunt, Ruby Larson.
She runs her own beauty company, making annual profits of tens of millions of dollars.

Gerald heard everything because they were all chatting loudly.
