There were about a million dollars or so left on the card, so she bought herself some branded clothes as well as some accessories like watches and other items.
Xavia did call Gerald once to borrow some money, but Gerald refused to lend it.
He's not cruel. He just wants her to learn the lesson.
Chasing money blindly is pointless. Sometimes, when you think you're going to have it, you actually lose it.
He really hoped that Xavia would not continue to live like this.
