The Invisible Rich Man's

The Invisible Rich Man's
Chapter 324

Harper repeated her question, her voice full of anxiety.

However, Yvonne ignored him and walked towards Gerald's bed.

"Wake up soon, Gerald!" he sneered.

He then pulled Gerald's blanket from her without considering what she was wearing at the moment. As soon as he was clearly seen, he pulled her from the bed recklessly.

"What are you doing?!" Gerald screeched as his hand moved covering his groin.

These women are scary.

But instead of answering his question, Yvonne instead started rummaging through his belongings. Not too far away, Cassandra and Felicity crossed hands as they watched the scene play out. Naomi was just hiding in the corner.

“Advisor, Felicity! I found his coat and phone here!” Yvonne shouted while raising the two objects so they could see them.

All the girls are dumbfounded. They all thought the same thing. 'So it's not Gerald!'

They felt relieved as if they were prisoners who had just been released after so many years.

This was especially true of Cassandra who was feeling almost joyful. "I'm glad it wasn't her."

After calming down, they immediately realized that all the men in the dorm were staring at them in shock.

Cassandra coughed before clearing her throat. She then asked, “Gerald, after you received a call from Naomi asking for help, where exactly did you go? And what were you doing back then?”

“Well, I was nervous of course, and I wanted to call the police. Before I could, Xyleena sent me a message asking where Naomi was and I told her what I knew. He immediately arranged for some people to save you. I'm happy to see you all safe and sound, ” Gerald said with a smile on his face.

“...It looks like you hit a nail on the head, Advisor. So much for thinking too much before! We were actually saved by cousin Naomi!” yvonne shouted excitedly.

“And why don't you wear pajamas while sleeping? It's disgusting!"

After cursing Gerald for the last time, the women were finally willing to leave.

Naomi, however, stayed a while to explain to Gerald about the incident that had occurred.

Gerald could only smile bitterly. 'Thank God I reacted quickly enough ..' Gerald thought to himself.

The truth is that he was very nervous during the entire rescue mission. He was sweating so much that he had to take off his coat in the car.

As soon as he actually entered the limousine, his eyes were still glued to the laptop monitor. It took a while, but he finally realized that his coat and phone were still in the car before.

In his mind, Gerald knew that his identity would definitely be revealed if he did not act quickly.

Just in time, an idea came to him. He immediately went to pick up a cell phone and a similar jacket. However, he could only hope that the battery in his old phone quickly ran out so that the phone could turn off by itself. If someone makes a call before the phone dies, it'll all be over.

Fortunately, the phone seemed to be dead before they managed to call him.

To be safe, Gerald even canceled his number at the last minute so that his phone could no longer receive any call signals.

From then on, Gerald no longer needed to contact women other than Naomi.

'There is no reason for me to reveal my identity to them.'

It was an anxious night, but somehow they managed to conquer all the dangers in time. Finally it was time to get a proper rest.

A few hours later, Saturday morning came.

It was ten in the morning and Gerald was working on some revisions in his dormitory.

Suddenly, Naomi called him.

Although he canceled his number the night before, Gerald had told Zack to help register his number again with his ID before he went to bed. That's not a difficult task.

That morning, Gerald went to the service room to pick up his new contact number card.

"Good morning, Gerald. My cousin came to visit today and after yesterday's chaos, he was planning to throw a table party at a restaurant near our campus. I owe you for your help yesterday. Please come! My cousin can even arrange a job for you. Harper and others are also free to attend.”

“I think I'll graduate. Besides, I hardly helped at all, ” said Gerald, a bitter smile on his face.

“You'd better come soon, Gerald. Otherwise, I'll come to your dormitory to invite you personally! On a serious note, my cousin really wants to express his gratitude to you.

"Yes ... All right, we'll be right there."

Gerald could not refuse Naomi's invitation. Actually, he had helped them. It was fine to indulge himself with a simple meal like this once in a while.

The problem is not meeting Naomi. Gerald was reluctant to meet his cousin.
