It was a call from Morgana.
He told her that a meeting for High School friends would be held that afternoon.
Morgana just called to remind her of the event and told her to come early.
It had been three days since Gerald had last eaten at Mead Hall.
So Giya has been gone for three days now.
Morgana had explained the event the day before. Soon, many of their classmates would start internships or work.
Therefore, the meeting was planned for old friends to meet each other during their time here.
At first, Gerald didn't want to come. However, Gerald had attended the opening ceremony for the newly invested company the day before. Just as he was about to leave, he bumped into Morgana and a few others who went to the carnival for fun.
Marking along with Morgana is another female High School friend named Xella Jaquin.
She was their monitor assistant back then and she was definitely one of the beautiful women in the class. He is also very good in the academic field. Similar to the old Sharon, she always had a good relationship with Gerald who had equally good academic achievements.
Gerald learns that Xella has returned to Serene County for future prospects. He seems to have found a good job there too.
The moment they saw Gerald, they tried their best to invite him over as well.
Gerald found it hard to turn down so many people that he finally promised that he would leave.
After telling Morgana that she had not forgotten, she hung up the phone.
A few seconds later, he received a message on his phone. It was Xella.
"So when are we going, Gerald?"
Gerald knew that he lived in Serene County. Actually, it wasn't too far from the hotel where Gerald was currently staying.
On the day they met, Gerald joked that they should go to a meeting together.
However, she did not expect Xella to agree to it.
“I'll be there soon!” answer Gerald.
"No need to rush. I need forty more minutes to wash my hair and a few other things. Let's meet at the Tranquil Road bus stop later!”
"No problem!"
Although Xella used to be a class monitoring assistant, she was a quiet and gentle girl who rarely spoke.
A good example is how he does not like to talk to people like Cameron—who have a strong family background—and Waylon Leets—the richest in the class—because they are both quite naughty. Money and power is not the way he chooses his friends.
Meeting her again, however, Gerald can see that Xella has undergone some major changes since the last time they met a few years ago.

When he arrived at the bus stop, there was still half an hour left before the appointed time.
