All the employees at the front counter immediately stood up straight and greeted him politely.
"Ah, Mrs Millers, welcome!"
“Wow, Mrs. Millers, stay beautiful as always!” everyone chimed in.
Luna smiled brightly, saying, “Ny. Millers, just this guy here, causing a disturbance. If my cousin hadn't asked me to help him, I wouldn't have even spoken to him in the first place. So Mr Millers, how many properties do you want to buy this time?” She looked at her husband and asked.
Mr Millers, an interior designer, is the type of person who buys many properties and gives them a completely new look.
The property will then be rented out. Therefore, he is one of the company's biggest customers.
“I only want to buy this one time, but I have to finish it quickly!” Mr. Millers said as he hugged his wife's waist.
The couple then looked at Gerald with a dirty look; it seemed they had developed a sense of superiority. Everyone flocked towards them but ignored Gerald.
In the VIP area, all of Gerald's old classmates had witnessed the entire incident. Lilian wanted to get close to him, but it seems that Gerald got into an argument with the agent.
After hesitating for a while, Lilian decided to remain silent. Moreover, it was too awkward to approach him, now that he had been humiliated. If anyone approached him directly, his pride might be shattered.
Luna, seemingly still angry, handed some documents to Mr. Miller.
After confirming that Nicki had made the right change, she glared at Gerald and turned to Mr. Millers with a cheerful smile plastered on his face.
On the other hand, a soft voice spoke, “Master. Crawford, I'll work with you now. If you have any questions, you... erm... feel free to ask!” Nicki seems to be very shy, and she is very young for an agent; she is at most 21 years old.
He is most likely new to the job. However, he seemed excited by his work despite the slight nervousness in his eyes.
Gerald glanced at Luna coldly, then smiled gently at Nicki, “Oke, then, can you show me the layout of these two buildings? B1 and B2, please.”
"Okay, sir, I'll give you a brief introduction!" Nicky nodded.
“Hmph, Nicki, he's already bought a house. He may be just trying to waste your time. Why do you even bother? Tell him to go if he has no other business here, and get a life!” Luna snorted at their conversation.
“Oh dear Luna, why bother talking to her? Hah, he might not even have more than three properties. That was why he kept wanting to see different properties! That's wishful thinking, I say! ” Mr Millers sneers.
“Honey, you didn't say property prices in our city have soared so high. Being able to buy property is probably the biggest achievement for them in this economy!” Mrs Millers added cynically.
Despite the mockery, Nicki still digs up the layout for B1 and B2 and hands it over to Gerald. Both buildings are new projects. They are not for sale first.
Nicki then explained to Gerald thoroughly and patiently. Gerald nodded, closed the documents in his hand, and said, "OK, I have decided to buy these two buildings, bring me the official documents!"
