“Calm now, today is Gerald's birthday and he says that he will treat us to dinner. Since all of you don't seem to have a better thing to do, let's celebrate his birthday together! Show us to restaurant, Gerald!” advice Mr. Winters.
"What's? We're busy dad. You know, we're gonna have dinner with some Boss friends. Why don't you come with us?” ask brother-in-law first.
He then turned to look at Francis before saying, “Fran, Jazz, you two can run now. You don't have to waste any more time here, and remember to be at your best when your leader arrives!”
Francis and his comrades immediately nodded. They know how important the show is. After glaring at Gerald for the last time, Francis left with his comrades.
As for Queeny, she was secretly observing Gerald the entire time.
Just a moment ago, everyone was making fun of Gerald. Some even insulted him. However, Queeny knows better as she already realizes that Gerald has little influence in attraction. Back in the day, Gerald would only bow his head in embarrassment. But now he is smiling. He was smiling the whole time.
'How is he so confident now? Where did all this trust come from?'

This is the mind swimming in Queeny's mind. Queeny's been so agitated since the last day she met Gerald. He just can't explain why. He was just afraid of hearing more about Gerald, so he didn't tell his parents about the incident.
However, after hearing Gerald say that he is celebrating his birthday here, he is now getting more worried.
"Hmm? Mr Winters? It was really you!” an old hoarse voice came from behind them. Gerald turned his head to see who was talking, and he saw an old man. Behind him, follows a family of four.
“Waxham! I'm not expecting to see you here! ” exclaim Mr. Winters with great zeal.
“So, how was that blind date? I tried asking Elle, but she wouldn't tell me anything! I just want to know how it goes. Oh Gerald, is our beloved Elle really not to your liking? ”
“Dad, stop talking about him! Maybe he backed out because he knew he was too poor to be able to date our dear little Elle! ” says mother Michelle.
They had not expected the old man to directly ask about the blind date.
Although honest, what else needs to be asked?
He had rejected her before they even met. Did the old man really think that no one would marry his granddaughter?
Mr. Winters then coughed before saying, “Well, Waxham, this is Gerald. I was just as confused as what happened that day!”
"What's? She's Gerald?” blow Michelle's mom. He was now too embarrassed to speak a word. He just peeked at Gerald a few more times.
Xabrina on the other hand, immediately began to jump in excitement. “Gerald! We meet again!"
Gerald just smiled gently at her. Michelle on the other hand, awkwardly took a few steps back. It was clear that Gerald preferred his sister over her.
"Mama! Daddy's! Look there, isn't that Gerald?” screams feminine voice. A girl had pointed at Gerald and he was now approaching them.
“Huh! He was probably only here to check what the problem was with this crowd. Who cares if it's Gerald?” taunting a middle-aged man.
